Geralyn is still out west with Rachel's family. Julius (almost 3) thinks Geralyn is the greatest gift since apple pie. But sadly, that has a lot to do with Rachel having a rough time, nursing Cessily, and not as available. Do continue the prayers. Her swelling varicose veins still present a danger. The midwife came back today and recommended she gets her doctor involved. Rachel can be stubborn. I'm frustrated myself. But I need to be home for a major paint project. Geralyn and I can take care of the garage, but the house is a little too much. And just went over a work order for a new furnace. What do they say? When it rains it pours. But the Lord always comes through.
You and Geralyn have a lot on your plate. Prayers for Rachael. I hope she will have the doctor take care of those varicose veins. Speaking from experience, I waited too long to see a vascular surgeon. The procedures that they have now are minimally invasive and can make a remarkable difference.
Will continue praying. I agree with Jo about the new vascular surgery techniques. I think it’s great that Julius is bonding so well with his grandmother. I miss my grandmother so much. Glad I had opportunities to be with her. I can still hear her now, and see her in my mind. God is blessing your family, Mario. Prayers for your home project.
Terry, You said that blood clots are a danger, please tell Rachel from all of us that this is no time to be stubborn. She can be stubborn when the kids are teenagers, lol.
I'm actually not sure how the miscommunication took place, but the midwife was actually pleased and said, "Your veins should continue to be monitored, but they are much improved." Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
I don't get to look at all threads when I get time for the MoG site so have missed this Mario until now. My congratulations to you, Geralyn, Rachel and family and Christopher and family. My prayers for all of you, especially Rachel at this time. May God continue to Bless your family, your work and your plans. Amen
Congratulations on 2 new grand babies - may God bless them both. And prayers for Rachel to fully recovery quickly.
Mighty are the works of our God! So happy to see these posts tonight. Congrats on another grandchild within the same week and to Rachel's quick rebound.
