Message, 25. February 2024 “Dear children! Pray and renew your heart so that the good which you have sown may bear the fruit of joy and oneness with God. Darnel has seized many hearts and they have become unfruitful; that is why, you little children, be light, love and my outstretched hands in this world which yearns for God Who is love. Thank you for having responded to my call.” This is what Ana Shawl said about the word darnel. This message has a word in there, Darnel. Where it says Darnel has seized many hearts. I think the translation should have been something like Weeds have grown and seized. If there is an adjustment to that message I'll send it out ok but it just didn't sound right to me. Right now, I only want to put out what officially came from Medjugorje ok.

Peace to all. I have received so many inquiries regarding the word "Darnel" used by Our Lady in Her message today, that I decided to do a separate mailing to help clarify. In Our Lady's message today, She said in part: "Darnel has seized many hearts and they have become unfruitful..." Darnel is not a person. It is not satan, and it is not a typographical error. Darnel is a weed that is known as the "mimic weed". It is poisonous and can kill a person if ingested. It looks like wheat and it is difficult to tell the difference between the two in the field. We can see there is a lot of confusion in the world. Many thoughts, ideas, and actions are promoted as good (wheat), when in fact they are Darnel, and from the evil one. Our Lady is again asking us to be the light, and love to those around us in these times. Matthew speaks of Darnel in the following parable. * “The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 While everyone was asleep his enemy came and sowed weeds* all through the wheat, and then went off. 26 When the crop grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well. 27 The slaves of the householder came to him and said, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where have the weeds come from?’ 28 He answered, ‘An enemy has done this.’ His slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ 29 He replied, ‘No, if you pull up the weeds you might uproot the wheat along with them. 30 Let them grow together until harvest;* then at harvest time I will say to the harvesters, “First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”g

One of these stories is the parable of the wheat and the darnel: The Kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. While everybody was asleep his enemy came, sowed darnel all among the wheat and made off. When the new wheat sprouted and ripened, the darnel appeared as well. The owner’s servants went to him and said, “Sir, was it not good seed that you sowed in your field? If so, where does the darnel come from?” “Some enemy has done this,” he answered. Thus, the darnel might appear harmless but it has the power to harm the good wheat by competing with it for precious nutrients from the soil. In the parable, the owner refused to let the servants weed the darnel out, but simply told the servants to let both plants grow together. Why? God knows that, within us, we all have wheat and darnel growing together. We have our talents as well as our failures, our goodness as well as our sins, our light as well as our darkness. We experience inconsistencies and divisions within ourselves. We want many times to get rid of the darnel in us because we are afraid to face our human frailty. But many times, we focus so much on our darnel that we forget we have been created to be good wheat. We have the inner capacity for goodness, love, kindness and compassion. Instead of fearing or rejecting our darnels, God invites us to continue to be good wheat and trust that He is working with our frailties and limitations.

With love you help others to open their hearts to come to know my Son and to come to love Him. My children, love makes it for my Son to illuminate your hearts with His grace, to grow in you and to give you peace. My children, if you live love, if you live my Son, you will have peace and you will be happy. In love is victory. Thank you."
In love is victory. Not sappy love, but sacrificial love! 1 Cor 13:13 So there abide faith, hope, and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

In a special way, little children, pray united with Jesus on His Way of the Cross. Into your prayers put this humanity which wanders without God and without His love. Be prayer, be light, and be witnesses to all those whom you meet, little children, so that the merciful God may have mercy toward you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

With all going on in world and also experiencing let’s say reflective moments of what’s it all about lately, this message from Our Lady for me is a so needed. I’m grateful for her love. I hope I can return it even poorly as I do. Peace.
Thursday, June 16, 1983 On May 25, 1983, the Blessed Virgin has repeated her desire that a prayer group, totally abandoned to Jesus, be formed. On June 16th she dictated to Jelena the rules for this group: 1. Renounce all passions and inordinate desires. Avoid television, particularly evil programs, excessive sports, the unreasonable enjoyment of food and drink, alcohol, tobacco, etc. 2. Abandon yourselves to God without any restrictions. 3. Definitely eliminate all anguish. Whoever abandons himself to God does not have room in his heart for anguish. Difficulties will persist, but they will serve for spiritual growth and will render glory to God. 4. Love your enemies. Banish from your heart, hatred, bitterness, pre-conceived judgments. Pray for your enemies and call the Divine blessing over them. 5. Fast twice a week on bread and water. Reunite the group at least once a week. 6. Devote at least three hours to prayer daily, of which at least, half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening. Holy Mass and the prayer of the Rosary are included in this time of prayer. Set aside moments of prayer in the course of the day, and each time that circumstances permit it, receive Holy Communion. Pray with great meditation. Do not look at your watch all the time, but allow yourself to be led by the grace of God. Do not concern yourself too much with the things of this world, but entrust all that in prayer to Our Heavenly Father. If one is very preoccupied, he will not be able to pray well because internal serenity is lacking. God will contribute to lead to a successful end, the things of here below, if one strives to do his utmost in working on his own. Those who attend school or go to work must pray half an hour in the morning and in the evening, and, if possible, participate in the Eucharist. It is necessary to extend the spirit of prayer to daily work, that is to say, to accompany work with prayer. 7. Be prudent because the devil tempts all those who have made a resolution to consecrate themselves to God, most particularly, those people. He will suggest to them that they are praying very much, they are fasting too much, that they must be like other young people and go in search of pleasures... Have them not listen to him, nor obey him. It is to the voice of the Blessed Virgin that they should pay attention to. When they will be strengthened in their faith, the devil will no longer be able to seduce them. 8. Pray very much for the Bishop and for those who are responsible for the Church. No less than half of their prayers and sacrifices must be devoted to this intention. It is my first time seeing this particular message. There are a few things in it I found interesting, mainly that half of all prayers should be dedicated to those responsible for the church. As well as praying a minimum of 3 hours a day, unless they attend school or work in which case one hour is needed. Purity of heart in point 4. The proponents of the dictatorship of relativism would like to eliminate all religions that claim absolute truth, and Christianity is one of them. That is why, in order to scatter the sheep, he will strike at the shepherds. Priests will have to arm themselves with faith and courage to bear witness even at the cost of blood. Going to medjugorje again in the near future and will be praying for everyone on the forum especially.
