Utube threw this film on the Prophet Jeremiah last night and I watched it for the umpteenth time. It is one of the best religious films I have seen. The great acting makes a huge difference. I think one thing that makes it really touching is that we apply it to our own lives so easily. Jeremiah lived in a time of great National Apostacy and corruption with both the Secular and Religious authorities just as we do ourselves. God called him to speak out. He did not want to. He did not want to rock any boats, he knew it would cost. It would have been much easier to go along and get along. It is the same with ourselves. It would be so much easier to go along with the script. We can feel so lonely and apart when we ask questions. Jeremiah shows us another Prophetic Way.
