I think Vance is the best debater in the race and gives me hope for the Republican party. When I was visiting my sister in Middletown, Ohio the other week we drove past the house where he lived as a kid with his grandma. I snapped a few photos. My sister said it's located in a rough part of town. There were some dilapidated houses, but I think most of them look decent overall.

What Vance actually said is he based the story on numerous accounts his constituents in Springfield have shared with him. BTW, he is an Ohio senator. It's his duty to listen to the concerns of his constituents. Have you considered that maybe the media is bearing false witness with the intent to harm? And, when you call someone a liar without carefully looking at the facts perhaps you're the one breaking the commandments?
I would agree. He has a sharp mind: he can take in what is stated by his opponent, assess it, and formulate a comeback faster than most. But then, he could be one of the youngest V-P candidates in the history of the country. His brain processes more quickly. Lord have Mercy, and help us avoid being dragged into a war in the Middle East! The Neo-Cons, for the most part, have defense contractors funding their campaigns! A good example is Lindsey Graham! Were you physically present during the conversation? If not, did you at least watch the televised conversation in its entirely? Or did you watch only a small snippet? I bet you only watched a snippet of the conversation where he said something along the lines . . . I created the story to prove a point. I saw this snippet circulating in a few places, but know it's part of a much longer conversation and was cherry picked especially for the most gullible of viewers. Those who dislike Vance have a very hard time disproving what he says during the debates, so they latch onto the smallest thing they can find and try to twist it. I was aware of the Springfield locals' claims about Hatians eating pets before Trump ever mentioned it, which means he's not its source of origin. He did not create the story out of thin air. If you are equating "creating a story" with "making up lies", you have fallen victim to those who took the snippet out of context to purposely mislead you. When one creates a story, the word "create" can be interpreted different ways. It can be a story based on fact or a story based on fiction. If you watch Vance's full interviews it's clear he meant the story is based on the accounts of the residents of Springfield. He brought up the story as one item on a long list of problems that prove how the current administration's immigration policies are creating chaos in American communities. Even the media often calls the news reports they create - stories . . . more on the breaking story at eleven. But maybe I'm wrong about the snippet.
