Maybe the two best quotes to describe our times (end times), apart from the Bible, come from St. Anthony of the Desert.
I have an uneasy feeling that St Paul specifically refers to our times in his letter to the Thessalonians. Also they are referred to, I believe in the Cathechism as a time of great trial. As well is this Our Blessed Mother and numerous saints, mystics and Pope's have pointed to these times. Incredible to think we are actually living through them. An immense privilege but an immense pain.
Heres the hate law legislation, which is obviously just censorship for what's coming. Designed to keep the populace from objecting in the first instance. And uniting (their great fear) in the second instance. https://www.irishpatriots.com/national_petition_stop_hate_speech_laws_in_ireland?recruiter_id=47576
Very good article here on the hate speech debate in Ireland. It is a very good summary of Ireland's descent into totalitarianism over the past few years. A lot has happened over a short space of time. God help us all - Our Freedom of Speech, Comes from God- Not the Government (irishnuntii.com)
It's great to see RTE coming under pressure recently with the scandal about payments and salaries and other corruptions being exposed.
It's almost indecent the savage pleasure we all feel in watching these god like elitists (as a judge who was presiding over non payment of TV licenses referred to them yesterday) fall from grace. The ideologies they have pushed for years at our expense! The lavish parties and perks! A public servant myself we don't get a red cent towards any tea parties or staff gatherings- and rightly so. People work hard and pay their taxes It's disgusting to see the money so recklessly squandered.
Yes, a wonderful piece of writing. I dare say only an Irishman can carry on for so long and remain coherent!
It's all coming together so quickly in Canada. May God supply us with much grace to endure what's unfolding. Pray, pray, pray
