    I agree with you Lynn! Sorry, I should have been more clear in my post. I wanted to get an opinion from someone who read it to see if they think it would appeal to people who have issues with the Church.

    I read it about a month ago and was hoping it would be something that would rouse my children back to the Church. It’s not that kind of book. In fact I wouldn’t really consider it a book. More of a short story, or a fable. It’s not at all what I thought.

    The title, author and premise hold great promise. Is it still worth reading @Denise P ?

    I didn’t feel as though I had wasted my time reading it as the subject matter is something we staunch Catholics all entertain in our imaginations at one time or another. But let me just say it was a simple story that ended abruptly. I don’t want to give the plot away for those who want to read it. But it has to do with the apocalypse.
