Ah, when my children were young we would spend some summers around Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. Fond memories! Welcome! A special place in my heart for the seers of Garabandal!
So glad you are a new member. You will love it. The furthest north I have been in New England is Derry, NH. I was a teenager with my uncle and cousins.
There was a wave of emigration from the Bann valley in 1718 led by the Presbyterian minister of Aghadowey Rev McGregor and they established new settlements in the area including Londonderry - or as we say Derry. There are many other Ulster town names in the USA as a result. https://www.ria.ie/news/dictionary-irish-biography/tercentenary-1718-migration-ulster-james-mcgregor
I notice quite a few new members have joined recently so a great big Marian welcome to you all. In any forum anywhere on the internet over 90 per cent of people never post, just read, which is fine. But if people ever do think of posting this is a pretty led back safe place. There is very, very rarely any bad temper or nastiness. Also not one Troll.
