Gaza and Israel: The Start of WWIII, or an Isolated Conflict?

Discussion in 'The Signs of the Times' started by Booklady, Oct 20, 2023.

This is a geopolitical program by Peter Zeihan. I have found his disussions to be informative and many times on point, particularly when he discusses geopolitics, and from his website, "Peter Zeihan is an expert in geopolitics: the study of how place impacts financial, economic, cultural, political and military developments."

While I don't want to further the Hamas/Israel discussion on blame, this is already discussed in another thread. I want to learn if this conflict will engender further world-wide conflagrations, particularly another world war. We are already into three regional conflagrations, Ukraine and Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, and now Gaza and Israel.

"We've all been following the events unfolding in Israel and Gaza, and questions of this triggering a larger conflict are starting to bubble up. To be blunt, this isn't the start of WWIII, but let me explain why."

Thank you for raising this point. It has been on my mind as well.

Unfortunately, I am not convinced that the war in the Holy Land is not the start of WW III. I think it may well be the start of a world war.

For a long time, I have been skeptical of the "seer" Alois Irlmaier. Now, he does come to my mind quite often.

Irlmaier, one the one hand, was a devotee of Our Lady. He had a statue of her built which is now located in the Almbachklamm. On the other hand, Irlmaier was an occultist who used a Wuenschelrute (does that mean wishing rod in English?) to build wells. Because of Irlmaier's occultism, and also because his WW III-prophecies were not written down by himself but by his publisher Conrad Adlmaier, I have been taking Irlmaier with a grain of salt.

However, now, as things are ramping up, some Irlmaier prophecies seem to be coming true. One thing Irlmaier said about WW III is that Russia will invade Western Europe. This is in line with other Catholic prophecy, such as by Sr. Elena Aiello. Another thing Irlmaier said is that things will turn bad when "another war in the Middle East breaks out".

I could never quite understand what a war in the Middle East would have to do with a Russian invasion into Western Europe. But now this is beginning to make sense:

The Russian bear has been poked continuously in relation with the Ukraine war, where Western Europe was essentially used by NATO as a war base. Now, Israel is trying to eliminate the Gaza strip. Russia and China are hardening their positions on Gaza as geopolitical tensions rise:

Thank you, Michael. I, like you, and thanks to recent eschatological discussions elsewhere in this Forum, agree that we are perilously close to WW III. Is it right now? Or, later?

Regardless, we know that Our Lord and Lady wins. Amen.

There is a German author (Stephan Berndt) who studied Irlmaier and, as far as I know, tried to research and verify sources. He tried to find newspaper articles from the time (Irlmaier died in 1959), contemporary witnesses and correspondence etc.
As far as I know, one point of criticism in the evaluation of Irlmaier's statements is that one does not always know for sure whether all the statements attributed to him really came from him.
(I will leave aside the question of whether a "Wuenschelrute" has anything to do with occultism, I am not of that opinion)

With this proviso, I find what he is said to have said remarkably accurate so far, it reads like a timeline of where we are now (and these statements have been written down at least on the internet before they arrived).
Now I'm getting to what I was getting at - his roadmap to WWIII.
Btw, in Garabandal the Mother of God said that there will not be another World War!
(Perhaps the consecration of Russia has taken place and the Russian invasion has been averted. so maybe at least not the WWIII we imagine will take place??)

    Irlmaier:
    1. first comes prosperity as never before.
    2. then comes an unprecedented apostasy.
    3. then a corruption of morals as never before.
    4. then a great number of foreign people come into the country.
    5. there is great inflation. Money loses more and more of its value.
    6. riots soon follow.
    7. then the Russians invade the West overnight.

I think everything up to point 5 has happened in Germany, I'm waiting for point 6.
I always thought Germans would eventually get fed up with this anti-citizen policy and protest, now it seems more likely that the Palestinian protests will develop into uprisings of the Ummah. And there are many Muslims in Germany.

You already mentioned that things will turn bad when "another war in the Middle East breaks out".
Irlmaier also said that it starts when "all calls for peace, Shalom" (the question is whether the rapprochement between Israel and Saudi Arabia/Qatar until shortly before the Hamas attack was that, or whether peace negotiations will still succeed).
And he said that immediately before WW, a high-ranking official would be killed in the Balkans and then it would start overnight.
I still can't explain how the Balkans could be the trigger for a World War, maybe because Kosovo and Bosnia are Muslim and we are heading for a conflict of the West against the Ummah? But how then does Russia come into play, are they taking advantage of the situation, just because of Iran I don't think?
So actually I just wanted to get some thoughts off my chest, it's become quite a lot of text :)

Peter Zeihan is an excellent resource I think. I have listened to several of his oodcasts.

But he’s too vague when it comes to Russia. Pope John Paul II once said priests would come not from Africa but from Russia to re-evangelize the West. Russia is poignant. I respect Zeihan’s analysis on Israel and Gaza, but I agree more with General McGregor.

This morning I heard three Peace activists from Jerusalem, an Orthodox Jewish lady. an Arabic Muslim and a Palestinian Christian. It was very touching. In a situation that would make the vast majority of people run away screaming these three are still in there battling away , doing their best.

    It reminded me of two different sayings of Jesus;

“Blessed Are the Peacemakers, for They Will Be Called Children of God” (Matt 5:9)

    Also:

    John 14:2

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?

They reminded me not to be taking sides and seeing things in too black and white a way. That they are all God's children. They also taught me a lot about courage and not giving into despair and also about not putting people into boxes.

Slightly off topic, but van Morrison - whom I love listening to, wasn't like the rest of the celebs; he spoke out against the jabs. Wonder what Sinead would have made of them.. Like Van, she wasn't one to tow the line.....

And in Germany, we have Nena - a Neue Deutsche Welle-star from the 80ies, still active. She refused to perform in front of segregated audiences, where only the "vaccinated" were allowed. Thus, she gained much respect.
Now, Almighty God has vindicated the unvaccinated. "Wunder gescheh'n" (miracles happen) is one of Nena's song titles.

At the same time, the USA gives 26 billion dollars in aid to Israel while systematically bombing Gaza for 7 months, starving a population of over 2 million people where at least 50,000, mostly women and children died...
Of this, the largest part of aid is again in the form of weapons.

"The new arms packages include more than 1,800 MK84 2,000-pound bombs and 500 MK82 500-pound bombs, said the sources, who confirmed a report in the Washington Post. Washington gives $3.8 billion in annual military assistance to Israel, its longtime ally. "

I think that bombs, military planes and rockets are far more dangerous to human life than a sign on a student protest sitting on the pavement in a country 9,000 miles away from the center of the action.

The protests are financed by the Jew Soros, whose aim is to show that both sides are equally radical and to justify Israel's behavior, because if you look at who supports Palestine, then it must mean that Israel is justified in its war campaign.

I don't have to agree with leftists on 99% of things, but that doesn't mean if they say that the sun rises in the east, it's immediately wrong.
    https://nypost.com/2024/04/26/us-news/george-soros-maoist-fund-columbias-anti-israel-tent-city/

The fact that they are wrong and support numerous evils on domestic soil from abortion, lgbt agenda, transgenderism to hatred of the Church and the homeland does not mean that they do not have something good in them and that they do not see the injustice that perhaps those with different views on the previous issues may here support as in the case of Israel.
