Testimony from Aniceta González ( Conchita’s Mother as she witnessed miracles) June 18, 1961 “I saw my daughter fall into ecstasy many times, including on the hearth in the kitchen. When she went into ecstasy while she sitting on the hearth, she fell down on her knees but nothing happened to her. It sounded as if a bone fell right on top of a rock—you could hear it perfectly—but upon coming out of the ecstasy, she had no pain or damage to her knees. I have seen Conchita give back medals and religious objects kissed by Our Lady to their owners. All of this without looking at whom she was giving the objects back to...many times...to many people. One time, we were coming from Marina’s family’s house, and it turns out that passing through there, a lady put a wedding ring in Conchita’s pocket. As we walked a little farther on, she says “Ah! I have wedding ring? No...I didn´t bring one.” It seemed like the Blessed Mother must have told her that she did bring it. Conchita put her hand in her pocket and took out the wedding ring; she gave it to Our Lady to kiss, turned around and gave it to a man that I think was a teacher from Bilbao.”
The girls eyes do not blink from bright camera lights “When in ecstasy, light falling on their eyes does not cause them to blink. This can be appreciated in a film taken under bright arc-lights which made no impression on the visionaries at all. But, on emerging from their trance, they could be seen to react immediately, shielding their eyes from the unbearable glare.” “The apparitions of GARABANDAL” BY : F. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: MAY 1, 2013 Bishop Vincente Jimenez Zamora celebrated Mass again ( he had once before on May 6 ,2012) in the village church of San Sebastian de Garabandal and prior to the Mass, he KISSED A CRUCIFIX belonging to villager David Toribio, that WAS KISSED BY THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY AT GARABANDAL. Bishop Zamora's Masses in Garabandal were firsts, since no Bishop of Santandar had ever said Mass in the village church from the time of the apparitions. And the public kissing of the Mary’s “kissed Crucifix”, was surely a sign of his belief in the apparitions, and it’s validity. SOMETIMES ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

Sorry, I forgot to post yesterday: MAY 1 FEAST OF ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER In response to Don Valentin Marichalar's questions, the visionaries learned from the Blessed Virgin that St. Joseph is "the greatest of all the Saints “ (September 4, 1961) Excerpted from 'Garabandal' Book,by J. Serre, page 100
THE “CALLS” OR “JOYS” , sent by Mary. Father Andreu reported: “The phenomenon of the calls or interior touches from which the ecstasies arose happened to the four girls in the following way. They would say that there were always three calls. These could occur at the same time when they were together; they could occur at the same time when they were separated; they could occur at a time which was not the same even if they were together; they could occur to all four, to just one, or to several of them. The word call was originated by the girls themselves who talked like this: Today the Virgin did not "call" me. Today she "called" me. I have already had one "call" or two . . . It is not easy to describe the nature of the calls. The girls said they were like a joy from within, a clear and definite joy that was always present. It was as if the Virgin had said in the first call, Jacinta! and in the second, Jacinta, come! and in the third, Jacinta, run, run, run! But all this without audible words. The children hid the calls; and if they were not asked, or if they did not spontaneously mention them in some cases, they would not have been noticed. “She went in haste to the Mountain”, Ch.4 pg. 73
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: MAY 4, 1962 “ THE POPE IN RUSSIA, AT MOSCOW,THEN THE BEGINNING OF THE DIFFICULT PRE-AVISO PERIOD “ On that day, Mari-Loli and Conchita received new and prophetic revelations about the future tribulations of the brief but very difficult time of the “Pre-Aviso” ( Pre-Warning) . Conchita also said during her ecstasy that “ Communism will also come back in Spain”. The Blessed Virgin also predicted to the visionary that “ the Pope would go to Russia, to Moscow”, a trip absolutely unthinkable in the political climate of the 1960’s. She also added among other important things, that “ As soon as the Sovereign Pontiff would return to the Vatican, successive violent persecutions would break out here and there in Europe”. These would be signs that the world, and particularly the Church (people would then believe that She will be on the point of disappearing, etc. ) were entering into the relatively short yet very difficult period of the Pre-Warning. From the book : “ GARABANDAL “ -J. Serre, p.133
MAY, THE MONTH OF MARY For centuries, the Catholic Church has set aside the entire month of Mary to honor Mary, Mother of God. Not just a day in May, mind you, but the entire month, showing her importance and role in salvation to all Catholics. This custom of dedicating the month of May to the Blessed Virgin arose at the end of the 13th century. In the 16th century, books appeared and fostered this devotion. Two Popes that supported Garabandal have commented on this feast month. Pope Paul VI wrote “Mense maio” which is an encyclical promulgated on 29 April 1965, which focused on the Virgin Mary, to whom traditionally the month of May is dedicated as the Mother of God. Using the Month of Mary devotion as a means of obtaining prayers for peace. He urged the faithful to make use of this practice which is "gladdening and consoling" and by which the Blessed Virgin Mary is honored and the Christian people are enriched with spiritual gifts" . In May of 2002 Pope John Paul II said, "Today we begin the month dedicated to Our Lady a favorite of popular devotion. In accord with a long-standing tradition of devotion, parishes and families continue to make the month of May a 'Marian' month, celebrating it with many devout liturgical, catechetical and pastoral initiatives!" Mary always encouraged the devotion to the Rosary. So I encourage you now to try and say the rosary on a daily basis. It honors her, and is also our greatest weapon against evil, and to obtain the favors we ask of our Heavenly Mother.
Thanks for encouraging the above, Glenn! The Rosary is a marvelous prayer and when prayed in a group setting (family, parish, etc...) it is a spiritual powerhouse!
TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY: MAY 6, 2012 On May 6,2012, Bishop of Santandar Vecente Jimenez Zamora, celebrated mass in Garabandal in commemoration of the completion of the restoration of the village church. This was the first time a Bishop celebrated Mass in Garabandal, since the apparitions began ! The fact that he came himself, and did not send someone in his place, and the fact that he returned again on May 1 2013 ,and kissed a crucifix belonging to villager David Toribio that was kissed by the Blessed Virgin at Garabandal, were signs of his acceptance and personal approval of the apparitions.
Many people have submitted "Miracle Martyr" names without researching the criteria first. so here is the list: “MIRACLE DAY MARTYR” CRITERIA A young male martyr of the Eucharist. ( a boy/ teen ) Because of the first statement, it is male , not female. Not being of Spanish heritage. (as per Conchita). The Miracle is in April, so must the martyr’s feast day. Feast day must fall between the 8th-16th on a Thursday. His feast day will coincide with an Ecclesiastical event in the church. It will not be on Holy Thursday. Since the " Miracle Saint" information came about in 1963, it would have to be the Traditional Latin Mass schedule. The Novus Ordo didn't start until 1965. ( It is possible that his name did not appear on the calendar in 1963,so that complicates things. Saints feast days do move) PLEASE DO NOT SUMBIT ANY NAMES UNLESS YOU HAVE CHECKED THIS LIST VERY CAREFULLY. THANK YOU. (Ps. I have disqualified every name ever given so think twice before sending any.
No. February 7, 1974 Q. You have said that the Miracle of Garabandal will coincide with a great event within the Church. Did Our Lady tell you what that event will be, and can you add anything to what you have already said about this matter? A. Yes, I know what the event is. It is a singular event in the Church that happens very rarely, and has never happened in my lifetime. It is not new or stupendous, only rare, like a definition of a dogma — something like that in that it will affect the entire Church. It will happen on the same day as the Miracle, but not as a consequence of the Miracle, only coincidentally. “NEEDLES” magazine Spring 1974,” Interview with Conchita”, page 16
I'M FINALLY ON INSTAGRAM ! https://www.instagram.com/garabandalguy/ I have created a small page on Instagram for the purpose of having one place to post my interviews and short topical responses, like: ( What is the Warning, Miracle, 3 days of Darkness aka The Chastisement, etc. ) Please do not leave questions there, keep all those here, thank you. https://www.instagram.com/garabandalguy/
Our Lady of Akita: I've read that Sister Agnes reported receiving messages from a wooden statue of “The Lady of All Nations” and She asked for the declaration of the fifth and final Marian dogma. “.... Finally, the Lady asked for the declaration of the fifth and final Marian dogma. Recall that the Church’s four Marian dogmas are [1] Mother of God, [2] Ever Virgin, [3] Immaculate Conception, and [4] the Assumption. She asked the faithful to petition our Holy Father to declare her “Advocate, Mediatrix, and Co-redemptrix …. The Lady of All Nations also made it clear that the proclamation of this fifth Marian dogma was a heavenly pre-requisite for peace: “Once the dogma, the final dogma in Marian history, has been proclaimed, the Lady of All Nations will grant peace, true peace, to the world.” https://www.motherofallpeoples.com/post/our-lady-of-all-nations-the-fifth-dogma
