I''m in the sunny island of Singapore.
But it rained all day today, the first day of 2021!
My husband’s late aunt always said “you can’t win” for situations such as these.
I visited Singapore a few years ago. Stayed in the Pan Pacific Hotel.
East Ireland, Happy 2021 everyone!
I want so much to visit Singapore but it is looking less likely by the day--age and pandemics and such. Oh well.
A very happy blessed New Year to you and your family SG.
What did you think of Singapore?
If you do manage to visit, I would love to meet up.
A Blessed and Happy 2021 to you and yours too!
Happy New Year from British Columbia, Canada!
Happy New Year from New Mexico!!
Happy New Year from NJ!
Right back at you from MA!
Happy New Year to everyone at MOG. St Joseph pray for us!
A lovely clean city, at least the little I saw. Visited the Chinese sector and an Indian festival, took a tour of the city by bus, visited the Botanic Gardens, attended mass, very warm though and humid
A good college friend of mine lived there for four years. She and her husband loved it. In fact when they got home they sold up their place in New York and moved to south Florida because they loved the heat in Singapore. and missed it.
I don’t understand people who love heat and humidity.
But I have heard good things about Singapore.
Agree, I’m from south Florida and I don’t like the heat in the summer. But that’s why we have Maine. Happy New Year to all. And may God keep protecting us.
I can understand that you didn’t like the heat and humidity
It can get really hot outdoors and that ‘sticky skin’ feeling due to the humidity is awful.
Most indoor public venues overcompensate for this with low air conditioned temperatures, such that one may need to wear a light cardigan to be comfortable.
I know someone from London who complained about the cold indoors
"Office workers chill"
Singapore weather can be great and the food is good!
