I agree with Padraig that these things can become tiresome and endless and they can also distract us from what we should truly be focused on. The Blessed Mother asked us time and time again to pray. For me, I look for humility as Padraig has stated and therefore, I am usually drawn to the apparitions received by children the most like Fatima, Lourdes, Garabandal and Medjugorje (the seers were children initially, I have to admit I know the least about Medj of those I have stated here); La Sallette is another one but I have not studied that very much. I have also been drawn to St. Hildegard of Bingen since she is a doctor of the Church and what she stated made sense to me, it fits with the prophecies from scripture imho; along with Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser. I also look for seers/prophets who repeatedly ask us to pray and repent; this why I love listening to Father Mark Goring's videos. He may not consider himself a prophet but he helps me focus on what I should be focusing on imho.

In the past, I have stated that I prefer approved prophecies but obviously there are some that are unapproved that I like also. From the little that I have looked at this new website, their focus appears to be mainly on newer unapproved prophecies. That is not really my cup of tea especially when some of the newer prophecies don't really fit with the approved prophecies and/or how most people interpret the prophecies of scripture. But like I said, I have not read through all of what is contained on this website but I do have a question for those who have read a lot of it and that is, am I correct that these three men have not studied many of the approved prophecies or at least they are not referencing many of them? Some of the newer prophecies are very general and imho that is fine, they speak of humanitiy's sins getting worse and calamities occurring in the world but I am very weary about prophecies which speak about the timing of the Antichrist, the final one. I am not certain that is what Fr Michel is speaking of but if that is the case, then by all means a lot of discernment should be involved in his regard.

Earlier today, I posted on the Vatican Has Fallen thread about Pope Francis and I should have included in my post that I am not at all suggesting that he is the final Antichrist but I do think that God is sending us a lot of signs to make sure that we are prepared spiritually for the end times spoken of by Our Lady of Garabandal. I believe that the seers said that the Warning will be like an announcement that the End Times are upon us. As Glenn has explained many times, this does not mean that we are at the end; the time of the final Antichrist or the time of the Second Coming but just that we will probably be very close to the Sixth Age of the Church which is the time of the Holy Pope and the Great Monarch and appears to be the period of peace that Our Lady of Fatima promised. Without this age occurring, I can't see how we could be at the time of the Seventh Age which is the time of the final Antichrist unless many very scholarly people have misinterpreted the signs of the times along with many, many approved prophecies.

What is the commonality among those on the Countdown to the Kingdom website? Whether it is Luisa P., the Medjugorje seers, or the Garabandal seers, they are all dependent on a timetable that occurs within their lifetimes or in a timetable that climaxes in the first phase of the 21st century. Two approved apparitions that seem to concur with this timetable are Our Lady of Good Success and probably Our Lady of Fatima. We all here can agree that there is most certainly an increase of magnitude in diabolical disorientation bringing us to a point of global disaster. I personally have great confidence in the timetable of Our Lady of Good Success and a deep love of Our Lady of Fatima (embedded in my heart by my Mom) which will soon glorify God.

Much of our tension and divisiveness revolves around the question: will the probable secular savior to arise be the AntiChrist or simply an antiChrist? So my conclusion is this:

Our communal response to either of these two scenarios is the same. Pray, fast, live the spiritual and corporal works of mercy, stay close to our Eucharistic Lord, and Our Lady. Thus, we all are virtually united in this expectation. We must not allow our personal beliefs on a particular timetable or agent of persecution to cause a rift between us. I'm all for discussion, but totally against division. The devil will constantly tempt us to get bent out of shape by our differences and make us forget that no matter our personal positions, our response is the same no matter what. It is like living a forever Lent!

1Peter 1: 1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To the exiles... 2 chosen and destined by God the Father and sanctified by the Spirit for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood:
May grace and peace be multiplied to you. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and to an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God's power are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer various trials, 7 so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold which though perishable is tested by fire, may redound to praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 Without having seen him you love him; though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy. 9 As the outcome of your faith you obtain the salvation of your souls.

Let us rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy.:ROFLMAO:

I was always intrigued by the phrase of Saint John that says that the Beast existed but doesn’t exist anymore ... if he said that in relation to the time of vision, it indicates that the spirit of Antichrist has already been on earth but will nevertheless return in some symbolic or spiritual, although Solomon ended his life worshiping idols I think Apocalypse could be referring to Nimrod the first leader who tried to create a world empire with a false religion in opposition to God, when God intervened directly confused the languages he wounded the empire to death of Nimrod and I believe that Antichrist will try to revive that Empire.

We're on the same page Carol. The main reservation I have about the new website is that I have no belief whatsoever in the 'prophecies' of Luz de Maria and Pedro Regis. I don't mean to offend anyone but i don't buy them. And i'm certainly not comfortable at all with the Samaritan oil talked about as a remedy either. But i do find there is some food for thought on the site too so discernment is key.
I'm keeping to the timeline set out by Desmond Birch in TTT, which is much more plausible. We're nowhere near THE Antichrist yet thank goodness but an Antichrist spirit is all around us.

Julia Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

Having read through quite a few, and some long posts in this thread a thought occurred to me. I would like to share it but not for the sake of argument, just for consideration.

We are all aware to some extent how much Jesus suffered for us all, and we could spend our entire life focusing on all that Jesus went through. Indeed I have no doubt Jesus suffers still because He sees every sin, and how it offends our Heavenly Father, as well as the consequences of those sins if they are not repented before each soul finishes their earthly life.

At the very same time as Jesus suffered for us all, He also saw the Victory He would accomplish over evil and the Glorious outcome for all souls who would benefit from His Sacrifice. This knowing was the greatest source of strength for Jesus, because He could see beyond the present moment of His agony, how God was glorified, and His Redemption was capable of saving all souls created by God. As long as the souls one by one Accepted the offer.

The point I would like to share is. It might be possible we are being shown through some visionaries the trials and sufferings that could and have come our way, according to our response to God calling us to Fast, Pray, and keep faithful. While at the same time, we are being shown through other prophets or visionaries the reality of what God intends for us after the trials and tribulations have passed. I suppose you could say a Job type of experience.

If we focus on the anti-Christ and those who were anti-Christ types like Hitler or any number of tyrants down through history, I think we are looking at the half empty glass side of things. If we focus on the good news proclaimed by Jesus Christ through the Gospels, and His faithful Shepherds, we are looking at the half full glass side of things. Whatever way we choose to look at it, we are certain to be safe as long as we Keep Watch and Pray, and not be too hard on one another as we absorb all the great and all the dreadful things we see and hear around us. Jesus said we should be the salt of the earth, maybe we should take a lot of what we hear with a pinch of salt. And be happy as possible on our journey, in each and every present moment. IMHO God bless all.

Beautiful words of wisdom! Please let us all agree to be united , regardless of our own beliefs, opinions etc., in the knowledge of Gods promise of a eternity in heaven with Him, whenever He chooses to unite us .
Like many of us, I hope and pray that God intervenes soon in our world to warn and convert lost souls. Hopefully, He will and we will all be given the grace to correct our souls before they are presented before God at our own judgment .
That is my hope and prayer, but only God knows . Our primary duty is as to be ready to meet Him at our own judgement at the time...minute, hour or day....that He chooses to call any of us home.
Pray that confessions be made available soon to the world again. If a warning does occur, we will all want this grace to prepare for that moment for our souls and of everyone in the world.

My problem with the new site is not so much a couple of seers they quote whose messages may seem questionable to some (myself included).

It´s the fact that not only do they give the current pope a pass but they quote him extensively and see nothing wrong with anything he does or says.

This can be dangerous and lead countless readers astray.

We´ve had legitimate occupants of the see of Peter in the past who were bad, evil and committed unspeakable acts.

So why do they fail to see this?

Padre Pio is a good Gold Standard to Judge other, 'Mystics' by. You could describe him in one word, 'Humble'.

So if through Padre Pio God worked a miracle , he never went round telling the whole world such a thing had happened. So if, say Mr's Fusco of Bari called to see him and got cured of, say Breast Cancer Padre Pio did not announce such a thing. Mr's Fusco might indeed tell the whole of Italy such a thing ; Padre Pio on the other hand kept it hidden.

If Padre Pio uttered a word of Knowledge in the Confessional , for his part it stayed there. His penitents might speak of it; he never did.

If Padre Pio uttered words of Prophetic insight in private conversation they were just that private; others might announce it. the saint never did.

If Padre Pio was visited by Jesus. Mary, the saints and the angels Padre Pio kept the quiet. Other might throw light on such things and Trumpet them to the world, Padre Pio never did.

As to the stigmata Padre Pio wanted this to be invisible. It was his great Cross that they could be seen.

Some Modern, 'Mystics', seem to wish such things that they claim to have experienced in their own lives to be declared by themselves in large flashing lights in Times Square.

I find this unsettling at best. Whatever happened to the, 'Hidden Life'.

Each person is chosen for the purpose of the Divine Will. P. Pio did not have to speak of anything himself since his gifts were obvious to others who visited, and even from afar....all of those who experienced their own physical healings or spiritual healings via his knowledge of them within the confessional or the fact he had the gift of languages, or those who saw his image in the sky to protect them, or witness him in bi-locations, those who witnessed his bandaged hands, the doctors who assisted him, etc. did all of the public "advertising" for him themselves. No one had to take him just on his words.....as is the case of many others who receive current messages. With these instead they are much more subject to criticism and derisive remarks....as Fr. Gobbi had to experience....or the one from La Salette who was kicked out of her own country, having to find charitable people to offer her a home or food or privacy. That is another kind of cross for sure these days. I don't believe that P. Pio's purpose was to be a prophet in the sense of being used for any immediate or urgent warning to the people for what was soon to come, although he did speak in general of what was coming in the future, esp. when he knew and spoke of to others about the future purpose and glory of Luisa Piccarreta even telling others to go to her rather to himself. He verified her messages of the coming era. He was a visual, walking icon. He also, of course, allowed people to know of his backing for certain unapproved prophecies/messages and those chosen to receive them as in the case of Garabandal when he also told others who came to him to go there as well.

And of course those who began and contribute to this particular website under which this thread is titled, to alert those who don't perhaps know of Padraig's forum or any like his, can also benefit.....Mark Mallett; Peter Bannister; Christine Watkins; Daniel O'Connor ..... very trustworthy discerners within this area of eschatology.

On the other hand - these are unique times --

Perhaps God is calling some to an apostolate of prophecy?

One can be a mystic be called to an apostolate and also be humble at the same time -

Yes, many do not want their personal identity to be known....only the messages and those they feel obliged to put out there knowing the cost of being called every name in the book including "satanic"/"diabolical"/evil/money grubbers, etc. when these are often people who are simply good housewives, or suffering souls on their own. And there are examples of some who feel they cannot any longer handle the abuse and request to let others take their places. We have as well scripture telling us of a coming future time when the Holy Spirit will be speaking through many more than ever before.....sons, daughters, etc. Those who are connected to this new website have a pretty good track record for the gift of discerning the spirit. PRs are never written in stone and often may seem contradictory because of that, esp. when it comes to the guessing game of dates.

I might add, that the benefit of this thread and web site: www.countdowntothekingdom.com is that it takes most all the guess work out of equation, such as taking outdated authors of end-times times books and it gives a more consistent account from today's prophets/messengers who are in alignment with each other on the events underway and forthcoming. Desmond Birch and the old school caliper of thought were given bits and pieces that they tried to weave into a hypothesis, but taking the prophets, of say the last 15-20 years, you have more clarity of the events and how they unfold. God is not stagnant and his is speaking with more clarity in today's messengers than ever before, because the time is NOW upon us. God is, as they say, dotting the I's and crossing the T's with today's prophets, which the older prophecies left up for more interpretation. All those old prophets from 50 years or more brought many solid messages, but the writers above mentioned have through the light of the Holy Spirit put the 'icing on the cake' with their new web site using today's mystics/prophets. For those who think the intermediate Antichrist is not alive today are sadly mistaking. Yes, there will be, as Revelations 20 foretells, a sort of antichrist at the end of the world, but this is not our period of history. We are dealing with today, the Antichrist and False prophet of Revelations 19 and 20, who after their defeat will be thrown into hell for, as Revelations 20 tells us, "1000 years", a figurative number meaning a long time..... Most will not come to understand what Mark, Peter and Daniel scholarly writings bring forth until it is all upon them, just as scripture said, "as it was in the day's of Sodom, just as it was in the day's of Gomorrah, so shall it be when the Son of Man returns". He is coming!!!
