Whenever there's talk of comets, I think back to a dream I had when I lived with Carmelites. Something huge blew-up way above the earth . . . I wasn't sure what it was, but of course, a comet was at the top of the list of possibilities. The explosion was so big it blocked out the sun (which was high in the sky). It may have hit something it outer space or simply blew up. The explosion itself seemed to move in slow-motion. I was in a big city that was being evacuated . . . I had several children with me. The streets were clogged with vehicles, but everybody seemed calm and strangely quiet . . . despondant perhaps . . . but calm. Most people (like myself and the children) were walking. It seems to me something had already hit the earth and another was coming. I'm not sure where we were headed, but there was supposed to be a safe haven . . . high ground . . . somewhere of refuge. If I recall, I didn't feel entirely convinced there was such a place. But, there were people coming into the city as we were evacuating. They were dressed in costumes like it was the Mardi Gras or something. They were really lewd, obnoxious, drunk and partying it up . . . throwing insults at the people who were leaving the city. It wasn't until that moment in the dream, that there seemed to be a religious element to it. Like good versus evil. Those people were definitely embracing evil and the people leaving, I sensed were in for tough time. Anyway, the dream probably isn't prophetic, but it made an impact (pun intended) on me at the time.
