I remember in 1979 (aged 16) when I had finished compulsory education and walking out of school & for some strange reason thinking ahead to the year 2000 and it seemed such a long, long away in my head. Conchita knew of the miracle date in the mid 1960s so the date she was given must have seemed a million miles away given that it hasn't even happened yet!
I am hoping to get to Garabandal in May 2025 for a few days as pre-Miracle preparation - please say a wee Ave that it will work out for me if it is God's will.
I understand... Took my family to Fatima on 13 October 2017. Was hoping the 100-year period based on the locution by Pope Leo XIII would end that day. But nothing happened, no apparition, etc. God bless!
Was contemplating Cardinal Burke's thoughts on the 500th anniversary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in 2031 as well, keeping that year in mind. But the actual anniversary of that wouldn't be till December, so I was thinking it might be the catalyst to start things.. Just a thought.
Fr. McNamara also seemed to think it would be April 13th. Personally I don’t guess at dates (though it’s probably within 10 years and definitely within 20 years). But in one interview Conchita said someone had mailed her the correct date but she didn’t respond to them.
Fr. McNamara, who is sometimes referred to as the “American Padre Pio”, had numerous miracles and locutions throughout his life. Honestly I haven’t done a ton of research into him but it mostly seems positive. Anyways, he supported Garabandal and seemed to think that the Miracle would be on the 13th of the month. Here is an audio of him talking about it: He also puts up the idea of Garabandal being the last Marian apparition. That was also suggested in “She Went in Haste to the Mountain”. Whatever the matter, I refuse to guess on dates. Conchita knows the date, I trust she’ll fulfill her mission.

Regarding the next Conclave, I was told that France via Macron is pushing hard for the election of the french Cardinal Aveline, as a reminder we have not yet lived the vision of the 3rd secret of Fatima, in this vision a Pope is killed by a group of soldiers in a completely destroyed city, this Pope appears after the bishop dressed in white in the vision, that Bishop was Pope Francis, so in my opinion the next Pope should reveal the text explaining that vision in order to avoid experiencing it himself, I confirm also That the Consecration of Russia as requested by our Lady in Fatima was not done yet.
Perhaps this part of the Third Secret of Fatima, like so many other prophecies, has to be interpreted in a metaphorical way. The city in ruins could be Rome, the ruins being the spiritual ruins of the Holy Catholic Church. The Bishop dressed in white, as if in a mirror, could be a Bishop that looks like the Pope, perhaps Pope or anti-Pope Francis. The Holy Father that has to flee over the bodies of his murdered brethren and is shot by arrows could be Pope Benedict XVI, the murdered brethren could be prelates like Cardinal Burke or Cardinal Mueller (metaphorically murdered), the arrows could be poisoned with the venom with which Pope Benedict was attacked. The prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi: "I will send you a destroyer, a Pope not canonically elected, who by the poison of his errors will mislead many" (quoting off the cuff).
What do you mean by "the last Marian apparition"? Akita occurred in 1973, and is Church-approved, backed by science (examination of the tears) and the weeping statue was even filmed (available on Youtube). Kibeho is a Church-approved Marian apportion that occurred in the 1980ies.
There are so many prophecies that say the Pope will be murdered.. after going into exile. It will be, in my opinion, exactly as it says and the reality of it will be even worse. The Angelic Pope?? Not up to me to figure it out..it's more peaceful to just take each day as it comes and to trust God. Otherwise I would go crazy.
Our Lady didn’t appear at Akita. Sister Agnes just heard Our Lady’s voice coming from the statue, which seemed to come to life. So technically not an apparition, but a locution. I’m not saying I agree with this position. But it definitely is a theory that has been postulated.
Sister Agnes did not "just hear Our Lady's voice coming from the statue". The statue was shedding tears, Sister Agnes was miraculously cured, the tears from the statue have been scientifically examined and even filmed by a Japanese television crew, an angel appeared to Sister Agnes at Akita in the early 1970s and then again on 6 October 2019, where she warned us to "put on ashes and pray a penitential rosary daily" (when the Covid-virus was released), etc. Sister Agnes' spiritual director, Father Yasuda, has documented the events at Akita in a book, the PDF of which can be found online. The apparitions of Akita and Kibeho, and of course also Fatima, Lourdes, Quito, etc. are Church-approved. The same cannot be said about Garabandal. There are many "a theory that has been postulated", including the theory that the earth is flat. That is not an argument. I am glad you are not saying that you agree with this position. God bless!
That’s true, but it’s still not technically an apparition. I definitely believe in Akita, don’t be confused about that. I FIRMLY believe that Garabandal is authentic. Honestly I have my doubts about Kibeho (for other reasons - and I don’t reject it just have questions) but I don’t want to get into that here, it certainly isn’t relevant to a thread about our dear Aviso. My Friends, The 3rd Secret of Fatima is not a metaphor, that's what Rome has always wanted us to believe. A missing 25-line text explains the vision. I myself researched this text at Fatima for years, meeting Sister Lucy's family in particular. Our Lady of Fatima is very clear, for example: "You have seen hell where poor souls go...." "Under the Pontificate of Pius XI, a war...." "Consecrate Russia to my Immaculate Heart..." "In the end, Russia will be consecrated and a period of peace.." ect... No metaphor in these words, everything is clear and simple to understand, and it's surely the same with the missing text, thank you.
