    Hi everyone,
My genealogy is being worked on and just found out my relatives are from County Antrim, Carrickfergus.....

can you tell me anything about the area, they immigrated to NYC in late 1800's early 1900.

More than likely your ancestors where Scottish, although if your history of your ancestors is from a census they may well be from the area of Carrick not the actual town, I live around 20 miles from Carrick but I can tell you it most definitely is a Protestant town (y) if you send me a pm of your ancestors details I will see what I can find out :) we bit of history here https://carrickfergushistory.co.uk/
