Fr. Reiser! He taught me the Catholic faith. He baptized and confirmed me. Amazing priest. He and Little Mary came to visit my son in the hospital when he was dying. He died a few years ago..,.,,I heard they are talking about putting forth a cause for his sainthood. I miss him!
I am sorry to hear about your son. My family and I used to attend a little Mary's meetings. Afterwards, we used to go out to eat at the local restaurant. That is where I met Cletus.
If you open up the website godspeakswillyoulisten.org, and scroll down the page the audio files are on the right hand side of the page. Hope this helps
Is it me or does it look like a fifth grader drew it...so much beautiful Catholic art. Seems a little suspicious to me. Not sure if I was God the Father...i would promote this picture. My humble opinion Brother al
Well Brother al, humilty is in the eye of the beholder. Was it not our Lord who said we must be like children to enter the kingdom? Perhaps the imgage that pleases God most is that of simplicity and not as the Hollywood image of God might be.
https://veneremurcernui.wordpress.com/2013/11/05/what-do-you-know-about-brother-carmelo-cortez/ Not sure if i should start new thread...but the art on rose petals seem more divine. Not that i believe or don't believe...one never knows what comes from God. Just sometimes some MOG followers seem to be looking for the magic on the outside; instead of finding the magic on the inside. Brother al
Here is some more information on this picture. If you notice God the Father has a staff in his hand. This picture represents God leading mankind into the era of peace. Just as Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt. Also, there is a whale in the clouds. Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for not obeying God, God is going to renew his church so, the gospel is preached to the whole world. Another idea is God himself will have to warn mankind first, since most of mankind does not really know who God the Father is. A final idea is that when the three days of darkness comes it will be God who protects and leads his children into the era of peace. There was some guy who was trying to create a website for his book. I think that is where the picture mentioned by patty came from. Cletus was a simple man and he always stated God gave his messages and picture so a nine year old would understand it. Most children would understand what this picture means. I am glad God gives us many different means to understand him. I do know the story of the Exodus is very important for us today. Especially, the blood of the lamb Jesus protecting us from physical and spiritual harm. God bless us everyone.
Thank you Verne for further explanation of the painting. I see the whale shape in the clouds and love the idea of God leading us into the era of peace with His staff!
Verne, hi, There is a non-Catholic Christian messenger who hears repeatedly from Our Lord, "no Rapture" and other corrections on various heresies. The messenger's name is Kevin Barrett. Hmmm, maybe not the rapture as believed. That of no death, you're taken up to Heaven. Catholics do not accept or hear of the one hundred year old rapture teaching in their prophetic but in recent years, there is some rapture sounding prophecy in Protestant messages and their messengers speaks of it personally in discussion. ??? An example: Tues, October 8, 2013 Message to: Kevin Mirasi The third message that was imparted in my heart from this communication of The LORD is that The Rapture of the Bride of Christ will occur first and The LORD will take to Heaven all those who have prepared the way for His coming, then this earth will have a last chance during The Great Tribulation Period upon which the final cleansing will be done. And after that is when the millennium (1,000 Years) reign of Christ will be established on the earth. The fourth message that was imparted in my heart from this communication of The LORD is that despite the fact that a moment has arrived when The LORD Jesus Christ is about to Rapture His bride into Heaven and then the earth being plunged into The Great Tribulation period, there are very many people who are at this very point very deeply immersed in the worries, cares and concerns of this world i.e. the love of the world and what it has to provide. Such people will be caught by surprise and off guard when The LORD Jesus Christ comes to Rapture His Bride. And such people will be left behind. + + + Here is my question: Do you think this could be the 'rapture' in their messages, God taking (after the Warning) "many" Protestants home who are "spiritual babies" for they have never received the Eucharist? God Speaks Will You Listen pg. 97/98 After the warning, there will only be a short time given to mankind to repent. If no repentance is done, I will allow Satan and the anti-Christ to chastise a sinful generation. At this time, many faithful will be: called home, persecuted, martyred, and taken to my refuges. Only those who are not spiritual babies with my divine life residing in their souls will endure those days and enter my era of peace. My son, at baptism all my children receive sanctifying grace, but many do not progress beyond spiritual infancy. I will not lose any the Father has given to me. My spiritual babies will come home to be with me to prevent the loss of their souls. A soul who does not partake of my Eucharist remains a spiritual baby. ... Receive my graces today through the sacraments instituted by myself and given to my church. You will need my divine life in your soul prior to the warning, to be my witness to the world. After the warning, many souls will need instruction. Many of these souls will be spiritual babies and will be taken home, after the warning. If you desire to enter my era of peace, you must be progressing through my merits and graces to spiritual adulthood, when the warning takes place. This is my final message from this messenger for my people. For I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. The time is short. Jesus Christ has spoken to you today Take heed to my words Amen.
First, I am not an expert on this topic, but this is what I have read. A Parallel example exists in Noah's flood. According to Jewish tradition, God took all those home who were righteous before the flood. Only Noah and his family entered the ark. The flood was not for the righteous. In this instance, the person's had to die to be spared God's wrath. Jesus and the Blessed mother have been warning us for yrs to prepare. A question I was asked by God was, do you really comprehend what it will be like to survive those days? Even the living will envy the dead. Only those who trust in God 100% will survive those days. I was raised Protestant and the word rapture meant, Christ takes his church away to heaven and the church returns Seven yrs later to reign with Christ in the flesh in the capital city of Jeruslaem for 1000 yrs. This has been labelled a heresy by the Catholic Church for many yrs. If this is what is meant in the above message from Kevin Mirasi, it is incorrect. But if it means many will die and go to heaven to save their souls from hell, that is definitely a possibility. We all know the deception will be so great, Jesus said if possible even the elect could be led astray. Jesus also said no one will take his sheep out of his hand. Spiritual maturity is necessary to discern deception. I hope this helps. God bless you. A Sister who is a theologian gave me her explanation of this. She said many souls receive the Eucharist in spiritual communion. She said this what many Protestants receive. But after the warning, all will know the truth of the Catholic church and there will be no reason for division in the church, except for man's pride. Another holy person told me, those who partake of the Eucharist at the Mass receive many extra graces, for this is the normal way Christ distributes his presence to his church. The rest is up to God.
However, the main point of the evangelical rapture is exactly what Verne states. They believe they will be raptured into the skies, why the rest of us kill each other off and 7 years later they will be brought back to earth and live happily ever after with Jesus walking side by side with them. Like it was mentioned, this is only a theory less than 150 years old. I remember a co-worker of mine came into my office shortly after I started working at my new job 25 years ago. He say's to me, "your Catholic aren't you?" Why yes! "So what does your Church teach on the Rapture"? I said, it doesn't teach anything on it, as it was only a 125 year old theory that the evangelical's invented. This guy was a fallen away Catholic and now a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church. It took many more discussions and 1.5 years later for him to have his whole family (4 children and wife) baptised into the Catholic faith. He's a faithful Catholic man now. I will say though that I attended one of his services to reach out and it was one eye opener...WOW, talk about nonesense....a whole nother topic.
I agree, so many unbelievers I know are stuck on the idea that God is supposed to be this old man in the sky with flowing white hair and beard. They say how could anyone believe in something as cliched as that and I argue that the Church doesn't teach that God is an old man in the sky with a white beard, but an all knowing, all seeing eternal Spirit, this picture seems to be the very image of God that we're trying to move away from. It takes a real childlike humility to accept this as an image of God, but He wants us to be humble and childlike, doesn't He?
It is not that God looks like this though, but it is the way He has always been depicted, so why wouldn't He reveal Himself in this form that we are used to. A person depicted this way represents knowledge and not that they are old. It is in our DNA to look to our elders for truth, knowledge and wisdom because their life long experience grants them this. God the Father, for me can always be depicted this way because He is all Knowledge, all Wisdom, all Truth and all Experience and thus depicted this way.
^^^ Really?? It is not just in the sacraments and rosary: In 1931, our Lord appeared to St. Faustina in a vision. She saw Jesus clothed in a white garment with His right hand raised in blessing. His left hand was touching His garment in the area of the Heart, from where two large rays came forth, one red and the other pale. She gazed intently at the Lord in silence, her soul filled with awe, but also with great joy. Jesus said to her: Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You. I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over [its] enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory (Diary, 47, 48). I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is this image with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You (327). I desire that this image be venerated, first in your chapel, and [then] throughout the world (47).
Seems trivial that we argue about what God the Father may look like or his desire for a feast day. Seriously, does it really matter? It is all subjective and we are worried about this with all the real troubles in the world? If you want to critique Verne's messages, I say go for it, cause I, like many learned priests, have read them several times an see nothing in them contrary to Catholic faith or morals. But the picture? I believe Cletus, who drew the picture of the Father, to be a very holy man. If any of you recall the major bridge going across the great Mississippi river between St. Paul and Minneapolis that colapsed a few years ago.....Cletus was seen there handing out little crosses to the victims all the while being 50 miles away on the phone with Verne.
