Agreed, Greggo (and welcome!). It has boggled my mind how just over half of our nation could not see clearly through Obama when he ran in 2008. It seemed to me, and it was reported, that people were under a trance. Ladies actually fainting at rallies, etc. So many of us could see the evil and see that he was lying about many things. He never led anything greater than a Harvard class as a prof and as a community organizer. All his records of his past sealed and swept away. Then to be reelected in 2012 when all signs were against him? It's him, I really think he is it or under the evil one's spell and doing his bidding. It all just makes no sense but I am very confident that there will be an unveiling one day and all will know the truth.
Agreed. My wife and I started the St. Louis de Montfort consecration method today to be consecrated to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Sept. 8th. I pray we have enough time to finish it.

Great advice, Indy. My favorite all time pastor who was a wonderful Irish Monsignor (although I love all priests, even the Indian one who I can't understand a word of what he says but hey, he still brings our Lord to us in Mass!), used to say some form of "do not be caught up in needless worry" or "be not afraid" as part of most every homily. With God on our side, nothing to worry about (as long as I can get to confession regularly)

Thanks for highlighting this Bartimaeus. The scant coverage of the burning of churches, beheading of monks ( I even saw a video of that horror on the internet), and cleansing of Iraq of Christians has received little coverage on the news. The headline over the last month have been about Gaza where a thousand people were slaughtered. As awful as that was. As newsworthy as that was, there were tens of thousands of Christians told to convert, pay a tax, leave or die in Iraq. Why isn't that headline news?
Gaza was terrible but I have a sense that it was used as a distraction, another piece of manipulation but I don't know who or why... God preserve us. I think what is happenig now is the 'testing of wills'. Russia with the Ukraine and the Palastinian terrorists with the Jews state of Israel. There is something hard-wired into us that really, really, wants to know timing. I see it all the time as I care for the dying and their families. No one is in a hurry for their loved one to pass, but there is a nervous pacing, and the nagging question, "How much longer?" I have a sense that our time to prepare will close down around Yom Kippur, Oct. 3-4, which is the day of atonement and the day names are written in the book of life. Also, the 2nd of the four blood moons is the following week: Oct. 7-8/2014.
