Concerning Fr Ianuzzi, I was referring specifically to what he wrote about the Divine Mercy revelations. You have to accept that nowhere in the Diary does the Lord make any reference to a "intermediate", "interim" call it what you will coming. That was simply changing the Lord's words to suit a different interpretation. When we reach the world cup final in a couple of weeks, will it really be the final match or will it be an intermediate match? Do you see how ridiculous it is? The popes have never taught about an age of peace to come before the last judgment. I know Father Ianuzzi and various others have tried to claim that, but again as with the Diary of Divine Mercy issue, they have simply taken words of the popes out of their true meaning. A good example is Romans ch 8 about all creation groaning in expectation of the revelations of the sons of God. Of course the popes always use that text in reference to the new heaven and new earth to come after the last judgment. Concerning the Divine Will, I am awaiting the true interpretation from the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith. I know Fr Ianuzzi is not one of the theologians chosen to go through it for the Holy See. I also know the local bishop was not happy with the exaggerated interpretations given to the writings. The sad thing is Luis'a promoters especially in the US have done more damage to her cause than anyone else, and again it comes back to millenarianism. They have promoted an interpretation like Joachim of Fiore's thrid age of the Holy Spirit which was condemned. How do we know the Lord (if he truly spoke to Luisa) was not referring to the state of the soul after the last judgment in the new heaven and new earth? You wonder why the Holy Spirit chose two recent popes to promote the Divine Mercy of God so much (JP II and Francis) and not the Divine Will movement? I am certainly not saying its not true, but I am firm in my conviction that if it is approved at some stage, the interpretation given by the Church will not be anything like some of the silly stuff taught by self proclaimed experts.

The "woman" can mean the Church or Israel but above those two meanings, #1, the "woman" in Revelation 12 is Our Lord's mother. The "day of The Lord" has two meanings, referring to the Final Judgment and the DOTL is about Our Lord's soon middle coming. I tend to lend towards Stephens position. What the popes and hence what the Church teaches superceeds any private revelations that have not received Church approval. As I had stated in the past... the only two private revelations I have followed are Medjugore and Garabandal...now...I have to slash Garabandal off my list because it is self evident that it is false. It is so easy to be deceived in these confusing times. This leads me to... what have the popes been saying...I hear of a boat about to sink...the smoke of Satan entering the Church...and so on and so on. So yes...we are in serious times...but less we forget...God is in control and we have the seven rivers of grace to drink from...especially Mass and Confession. We do not need "oracles of the future"...but merely trust in Gods goodness and mercy and seek His will...and then all will be well. Jesus gave us this simple and perfect prayer called the "Our Father"...say it slowly and listen to what your saying. The Catechism says private revelation makes God's plan more explicit. God would speak to us every day. How come private revelation has to be regarded as a deception from the evil one and only to be accepted years later after the Church approves? What are we suppose to do right now? The messages reveal divine events coming, God warns and begs us to change and the daily messages strengthen our belief in the Faith. Read the daily messages, the yet to be approved, they agree 0n the chronology. And proof they are divine, only God could reveal His one plan over and over with each message uniquely stated in a thousand plus messages! Jackie...I appreciate and understand where you are coming from...and I do not doubt your sincerity but I guess in a way... I am just burnt out on prophecy. I remember back in 1976...I was in 8th grade and I was fascinated with prophecy, I actually remember saying the chaplet of Mercy by sister Faustina back then, well before she became widely known...and I've come to learn long ago that not every self proclaimed prophet was true. So to weed out the weeds and admittedly even some authentic prophets...I've narrowed down all these voices to something I can handle personally. The summation of all these messages is literally quite simple. Return to God, Return to the Church, Return to the Sacraments, Repent and be Converted less a greater evil overtake you. If we keep these simply request in our eyesight...then whatever the future brings...we can trust that God and His Blessed Mother will be there also. So all these reported visionaries and their purported tragedies...why can't they deliver a clear consise prophecy. Its all too vague for me...I'm a meat and potatoe kind of guy...throw me a real bone every once in a while. I watch the purported prophets...and I'm not impressed. Since Garabandal has been truthfully discredited...its even a more misty and fog laden hour then I ever imagined.

There is no point in bombarding me with messages because it doesnt prove anything.I am certain that most of them are false (Remember Gianna Talone, Vassula Ryden several other american ones etc MDM, )None of the authenticated ones go anywhere near the direction of all these promoted here.In fact the most recent important fully (Vatican) approved one, Rwanda clearly speaks of the end of the world and preperation for the Lord's return-not any temporal reign. In fact as far as I am aware there is no Church approved revelation that speaks of a Eucharistic reign, there is non that speaks of Rev 20 being a future period of time ,there is non that explains the true meaning of the phrase "in the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph", as I wrote in my book "Heralds of the Second Coming" the truth is found in the writings of the popes, and as Pope francis said recently to the FFI priests on June 10th " the Church guarantees orthodoxy through the Pope". This is why it is pointless using thousands of messages to try and prove a point. The Holy Spirit guides the popes and the popes guide us all. If there was a massive change about to take place leading to a temporal kingom, then you can guarantee that the popes would be talking about it. They are not. They talk about the second coming and the era of peace without end. Pope Benedict couldnt have been more explicit in Light of the World: saying he was "too rational" to think history is going to suddenly take a whle new direction; therefore he is implying that people who are expectiong some incredible turn around are irrational! Lets invoke the true coming of Jesus as the Divine Mercy devotions asks and prepare for he glorious return with all the saints. Thats a far better and more wonderful prospect that a temporaral truce that is not Church teaching.
I honestly don't know the answers until they come but I am enjoying this discussion. I think I hope for Stephens position for how can we not hope for the return of The Lord but then again I would rather have the mercy of the warning first because then it would give so many more people a chance to repent and be saved from hell forever. It is quite a paradox when you think of it. Our love for God with all our hearts would desire nothing more than His second coming, but then our love should also be for our neighbor and because of that the Warning is what we should all desire for this gives our neighbor a chance for mercy and repentance and conversion before final judgement at the second coming.

I am halfway through, sorry I am one if those readers that is in the middle of 5 or more books a time, but I am thoroughly enjoying your book so far. I can totally see where you are coming from but then again I also keep going back to this important piece of scripture in my head for the end times. Acts 2: [16] But this is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel: [17] And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord,) I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. [18] And upon my servants indeed, and upon my handmaids will I pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy. [19] And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapour of smoke. [20] The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and manifest day of the Lord come. If The Lord is telling us he is pouring out his spirit in the end days and we are in the end days, then shouldn't we be listening to His chosen prophets in these times that would go beyond what just the current Pope says? Also you say nothing of an era of Eurcharst reign but what about the vision of St. John Bosco who sees the pope tie the church in the troubled waters to the two pillars one of the Eurcharist and the other to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Is this at the end and then Jesus comes?
When Padre Pio was asked about the end of the world he stated that 'we are not even halfway yet'. In other words there is a lot of history to come - the end of the world is not nigh because for God, a day is like a thousand years. So this leaves us a few thousand years for the final definitive coming of Christ if Padre Pio is correct and I would respect what he has to say in this regard. Padre Pio equated the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary as the 'defeat of satan' not the final coming of Christ. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.—www.vatican.va
The Our Father indeeds sums up the relationship between the believer and God the Father. We do not know if we will be here tomorrow! Padre Pio believed in the authenticity of Garabandal so have no fears because this holy saint is a man to be trusted
Garabandal, Please could you show us the exact reference to Padre Pio saying that about the end of the world and also the Triumph remark, because there is so much rubbish attributed to him; the three days of drakness prophecy being one. The only prophecy I remember him making about the end of the world was that the home for the relief of suffering would still be standing on the day of the last judgment, but even then I didnt include it in the book because I couldnt remember the exact source (I believe it was in the voice of Padre Pio magazine many years back). If its not backed up by a first hand account then its worthless. Andy, thanks very much for your kind comments about the book. Plese keep going until the end because I explain the true position of the Church in the final few chapters and why the millenium idea has been disgarded by the Church.
It was stated in an audio by Donal Enright who is a devotee of Padre Pio: Donal Enright shares what Padre Pio said about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary: 'the world when will it be over he said (Padre Pio) - the world isn't half over yet, for I can assure the people that they are Padre Pio's words; but he said that when our Lady stated in the end when my Immaculate Heart will Triumph that it will not be the end of the world but that it will be her victory over satan and after she defeats satan there will be a new era of peace, & prosperity & religious life that will never be experienced in the world before'.

I would believe every word Donal said. Apparently Padre Pio thought that Satan had entered into the Garabandal phenomena. I believe this is true. Garabandal reminds me so much La Sallette. However Padre Pio also thought the main prophecy about the Warning and miracle was true. Donal thought the prophecy about the remains of the priest being found incorrupt was bad prophecy, I agree. I also think the prophecy about Joey Lomangino was bad. I think people who try to stretch things to cover bases only make things worse. But substantively as Padre Pio thought the central themes of Garabandal are fine.
I was fascinated Donal when he saw Jesus he says Jesus did not have a beard. This is certainly counter intuitive. Having looked at pictures of Jesus with a very large beard all my life I am trying to get my head around this. Funny , its the small things.
