Belated thank you Padraig for responding to me about your dreams and enlarging on Fatima - a theme I need to devote more attention to. Also struck by your dream of the NY Satanist ... I wonder if you ever have dreams relating to events in Ireland?
I believe he is not eligible to run because he has lived outside the country for the last 14 years. I am sure he is loved by his fellow countrymen. Who "offered" him $1 billion not to run? Who does he really represent? Freedom from the Russians, for sure, but into the arms of the "George Soros" types, probably.
Is there really a good side when we talk about man and politics? It seems that no matter what side you are on politically there is corruption, money and shadow rulers. The only good side is God's side. I so tire of the ways of the world and being in the world of man and truly long for the world of God, the new heaven and new earth. Then there will truly only be one side and it will be good, holy and glorious.
Yes, Andy3, it is deceptive, but there are good people. Leck Welesa was one of them, Ted Cruz is one of them.
The good people unfortuantely are like tender saplings in a forest of weeds and thorns but if even one can grow into a mighty oak, then how wonderful that will be!
CNN. Ukraine MP: We see hand of Putin at work. Christiane Amanpour speaks to Ukrainian MP and opposition leader Lesya Orobets about negotiations between the two groups. http://goo.gl/pu4gml |PR News #euromaidan#Ukraine
Viktor Baloha, former Minister of Emergencies of Ukraine. I would like to address Viktor Yanukovych. Mr. President, I can say that I know you better than most politicians in our country. I know who you really are, what you are thinking, and your current behavior points to one thing only -- you want to drown the Ukrainian people in blood. You negotiate with the opposition, but you consider its leaders clowns, who you can fool once again. You actually initiated the collapse of the country, which was never dear to you anyway. You became the main obstacle to the development of our country, so that in Ukraine it isn’t possible for anyone to live and work normally, except for your circle. And now you expect help from the "brotherly" nation, by bringing in their special forces, thugs and provocateurs. Mr. President, prepare a law that suits you to guarantee your safety. Give the opposition the whole Cabinet, and personally refuse to participate in the political life of the country. Ensure the return to a parliamentary- presidential republic and the holding of presidential elections this year. If you consider yourself strong, take the political decision today - to release all activists and support all of the demands of the opposition. If you take these steps, you will preserve keep the integrity of Ukraine, people's lives, and the future of our children. In the very end, you will be a happy man, who was not the obstacle/enemy of his country and its people. For the highest good that God grants to a human being on earth is life itself.
Interesting day. I met with a woman who is of Russian decent and lives here with her American husband. We both homeschool. She is from Ukraine. She has a beautiful Russian accent. She has a mother and father who are being taken care of by her brother and they are painfully poor in a region which is near Russia. Her parent's neighbors are Russian also, but many are pro-USSR. Many are not. Right now no one trusts anyone. No one can move for fear of a Russian invasion because they are poor. She desperately wants to move her parents and brother here to the U.S. She said that Russia is going to wait until after the Olympics to invade. She is Orthodox. Her husband is Catholic. She told ME---we MUST have UNITY! SHE loves our POPE! She was thrilled that he was going to Jerusalem and that this year ALL THE EASTER DATES WILL BE THE SAME!! PRAISE GOD! She said, "Pray for Russia. I am just as afraid of Russia as you are. I grew up with the marching soldiers like they show on TV in North Korea. I believed all their propaganda. When I left Ukraine, I realized it was all a lie. America doesn't know how good they have it." All she cares about is her sick mother there. Please pray for Vyktoria.
http://intellihub.com/confirmed-protesters-ukraine-kidnapped-hospitals-executed/ It has been confirmed that protesters are being kidnapped from hospitals and taken into the forest where they are stripped and executed By John Vibes UKRAINE (INTELLIHUB) — Yesterday we reported that activists in Ukraine were disappearing from hospitals and that it was possible that there was some connection to people that were found killed and tortured in the forest outside of the city. Today this connection has been confirmed, with even mainstream media sources reporting that the government is kidnapping activists from hospitals and taking them into the woods where they are stripped, tortured and killed in many cases. The incident that we reported on yesterday was the death of Yuri Verbitsky, an activist who was found killed and left in the forest. Now a journalist named Igor Lutsenko has come forward saying that he managed to escape from government agents, and was one of the people who were tortured and taken to the forest. He had been taken from a hospital in Kiev, beaten, and was eventually left in a forest by his abductors after an ordeal lasting almost a day, AFP reported. Ukrainian news website Dzerkalo Tyzhnia said that two unidentified bodies had been found in the forest outside Kiev where Lutsenko had been taken after his abduction. Australian Bishops Send Message of Support to Ukraine "The images of so many priests and religious ministering to their faithful on the squares and streets of Kyiv remind us of the Good Shepherd always tending the flock entrusted to his care" SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, January 30, 2014 (Zenit.org) - Here is a message dated Jan. 29 from the president of the Australian episcopal conference, to the Ukrainian people. * * * We, the Catholic Bishops, and the whole Catholic Church in Australia, greet all Ukrainians in Australia and indeed in the whole world. We have been shocked and saddened to see the events that have been unfolding on the streets of Kyiv, Ukraine over the past few months. This tragic loss of life and the inexcusable violence has no place in a free and democratic society. The Catholic Church in Australia stands with all Ukrainians of good will in praying for a peaceful resolution to this conflict. Over the last two months we have seen the vast numbers of Ukrainians gathered in the Majdan in Kyiv standing as faithful witnesses to faith, human dignity and the democratic process which are fundamental for a good and peaceful society. The images of so many priests and religious ministering to their faithful on the squares and streets of Kyiv remind us of the Good Shepherd always tending the flock entrusted to his care. The work of the Ukrainian Catholic Church as well as many other denominations has been vital in maintaining peace and strengthening the resolve of many to continue their protest peacefully despite the unprovoked attacks. We pray for the Church in the Ukraine. We pray for Major Archbishop Sviatoslav, Bishops, Priests, Religious, and faithful as they continue to stand together, despite state-sanctioned threats of deregistration and punitive measures to punish the Church for fulfilling her mission to the people entrusted to her care. We are edified by your example in following the words of Pope Francis who recently said that “pastors need to be with people, because a pastor should have the smell of his sheep.” We must also pray that the civil authorities in Ukraine open their hearts and minds to the Gospel of Love and realise that the expression of free speech and religious liberty is a fundamental right of every human being. The Ukrainian people and Church have suffered immense persecution and oppression throughout the twentieth century, yet their faith and love for their country have never been crushed. May our prayers and the prayers of all Catholics in Australia, strengthen your brothers and sisters standing in the Majdan and protect them from all harm. May the souls of the fallen find rest in the peace of Christ. May the Most Holy Mother of God Protector of Ukraine and All the Saints of Ukraine intercede before Christ and hear our prayer for peace. Archbishop Denis Hart, President, Australian Catholic Bishops Conference
Lord Have Mercy on these protestors!! If they must die for their cause I pray that they face their torturer in a state of ecstasy! I humbly ask this of you my Lord as a poor sinner who has faith in Your will being done.
Dmytro Bulatov has been recently found in village Vyshenku near Kyiv. Dmytro told the journalists that he was severely beaten by unknown people, he was tortured, his ear was cut. Shadowy Specter Of Russia Hangs Over Rumored 'Death Squads' In Ukraine After being kidnapped on January 22, Dmytro Bulatov says he was kept blindfolded for eight days as his abductors beat him, sliced off part of his ear, drove nails through his hands, and finally left him for dead in a forest. Through the ordeal, he never once saw his captors. But he could hear them. And when he was finally returned to safety, Bulatov -- one of the leaders of Automaidan, the automotive flank of Ukraine's Euromaidan protests -- said on January 31 that his captors had spoken "with a Russian accent." The comment bolstered already strong suspicions among Ukrainian protesters that Russians are illicitly contributing to state security efforts as the government of Viktor Yanukovych continues its often violent crackdown on the two-month Euromaidan protests. more: http://www.rferl.org/content/ukraine-protests-russian-death-squads/25252585.html
