As much as I read about 'dates', I don't like thinking too much about them because we are not supposed to know. At least not until a date is announced by a seer in advance. Until then, I'm not going to expend energy trying to guess We're too busy trying to keeping our focus where it has to be, on God, while we try to trust in Him as we watch our country fall apart, here in Canada.
I just scanned this thread... amazing it started almost 14 years ago! And it made me think of how often we see things happening and start to speculate on the end times. I know I can do a lot of "hand wringing " but as years go on and we are still here, it's good reminder not to worry about tomorrow. God has it covered! And while I only scanned a few pages, I saw familiar names of former members and I wonder how they are? Praying for all members who decided to leave or perhaps just stay silent
Of course, there were members who died, some we know of and some we do not. May the Lord God have mercy on them all.
I've been wondering recently about the member called Whatever, previously Dolours, she hasn't posted in a long time.
Wow, I didn't know Whatever was actually Dolours. But I used to think to myself that she was the new Dolours on the forum. I enjoyed her posts. Very talented. Personally, I think she worked herself into a state of exasperation at what was going on in Gaza and couldn't tolerate any dissenting viewpoints. Apologies if I am mis-representing her position; she was so capable of elaborating her thinking on many a subject. And her exasperation was very understandable. She felt so deeply in her soul about things that she just maxed out.
This was the impression I got as well. Perhaps she left the forum to restore some peace to her soul. I have had to do that in the past when I got too worked up.
