Sounds like Catholic Church mk II Bishops running the Church in their diocese according to their whims. We can post this youtube clip as Catholic in 2028 Woe! It's not truth, it's opinion. It's social media that will dictate our future.
I am reminded of what St Paul said that good should not be unequally yoked with evil. That there comes a time when we much walk away from wickedness. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
Dr. Taylor Marshal was blessed to have been delivered from the Episcopal Church. I remember reading about a Bishop of the Episcopalian Church in the UK a few years ago. It was a sad state of affairs because he actually admitted that his faith had evolved to the extent that he no longer believe in the 'historicity' of Jesus. He was actually a secular humanist dressed as a bishop. He admitted in an interview he was a secular humanist.
In an interview with an Evangelical pastor, E. Michael Jones declared that mainline protestantism is dead. He said that all the mainline churches are now vying for the attendance of the 38 gays in his hometown. I thought that was funny. He also commented that Evangelicalism will die because of its support for Zionism. All generations younger than the boomers, and the Gen Zers in particular, are rejecting Zionism and the term Judeo-Christianity. Given that dispensationalism, which includes Zionist ideology, is their fundamental doctrine, he may be correct. Good!!
My father used to always say never go where you are not welcome. I always thought there is a lot of truth in that. Jesus Himself said if you go into a town and they do not welcome you shake the dust of your feet and go elsewhere. For Protestant Pastors who find themselves no longer in a safe or welcoming place that sounds like good advice. The only problem being is that both the Episcopalian and Anglican sects are hugely rich and if they stay with them they are guaranteed a good wage and a comfortable life. So people can be inclined to want both things at the one time. The money and comfort and at the same time to stick as far with the Truth as possible. It is interesting because as we enter the same grim hell ourselves in the Catholic Church it is the same thing.
The fascination for homosexuality in so many Christian churches is difficult to understand, given that the statistics still indicate a small number of active perverts. I think many Churchmen are extraordinarily gullible. It’s recommended that we give people the benefit of the doubt, but there are limits. I suspect many of these pro-homosexual virtue-signallers are not fully aware, or choose not to think about it, of the real nature of sodomy. I wonder is it that a cuddly, Disneyland concept of ‘Love’ (= luv) has come to predominate, a concept that can ultimately justify any sin in its name? As for the Judaism issue, they have as usual pushed it too far and revealed themselves for what they are. Again, Christian churches are the slowest on the uptake for this. Regarding E. Michael Jones, his latest Culture Wars issue features a letter that when I read it I thought was going too far and might have been close to actual anti-semitism. When I came to the end, I found it was from a regular letter-writer called Yehuda Littman, a devout anti-Zionist Orthodox Jew. These are the Jews that the Churches should be having their dialogue with: honest, righteous people who subscribe to the laws of Moses.
One thing we never talk about in the Catholic Church enough is the horror of blasphemous Communions. If a priest is living an impure life many , many horrible Masses will take place.
On the Camino I helped, by the grace of God, help three young adults understand Christ. I did this through stories. Their faces lit up in awe and they would sit silently waiting for more to be told. They were waiting their whole lives to hear these stories. Virtue signalling doesn't really accomplish anything further than people patting themselves on the back. BORING! Youth literally are desperate for meaning in their lives. This is why churches are dying. The Bible is the greatest story ever told and it is true. Same with the lives of the saints. Heroic battles between good and evil, where often the smallest and weakest are chosen to be champions. We are made in the image and likeness of God, and in the immortal words of Terry Davis " God hates boring people". So people in general hate boring people too. Church is the very last thing that should be boring.
