MOG Members from the Past

It is a warm night tonight. I stepped outside and then decided to walk up the gentle incline of Towsley Drive; not too far, else my right foot will start complaining more than a wee bit. (I'm not sure the break will ever fully heal now that I'm in my 70's.) It's been very dry of late and I noticed the creek flowing under the road has dried up recently. Time to ration our water unless we get a good rain soon.

All this interestingly reminded me of a memory reaching back a number of years: a former early member of MOG named Lee had requested prayers and I had begun a similar trek. So now we have many members as well as many former members to pray for.

Some have died like Mac, new members have joined. We all have blessed, enriched, and supported each other, in season and out of season. Prayers are the richest currency of all.

So just a call out in thanks for the many intercessory prayers that have ascended to heaven from this on-line chapel! We have walked side-by-side on the narrow path that leads to eternal life!:ROFLMAO:

Thanks to everyone for their prayers. St Paul clearly saw praying for each other as a community a must do.

Early on with St Mother Teresa a young English woman came out to Calcutta to help her. But it turned out she had MS and had to return to London and she was very upset. But through her the saint had prayer groups organised throughout the world to pray for her work. Mother Teresa always though that without this prayer her work would have failed.

It is the same with the Forum. Humanly it should long ago have failed.

Nice reflections, Mario. If I make it to heaven, I wonder if I'll meet MOG members who prayed for me, and me for them, and we will marvel at the fruits of this little community.

I think the thing I regret most are the people on the forum who died and we never even knew. There must be quite a few by now.

    So sad.

Lee (Gael) is alive and kicking and on Facebook. I think.

After our deceased family members and ancestors, that will be a lot of fun and rejoicing. Maybe that's why Heaven is eternal!:ROFLMAO:

Eternal rest grant to each one of them Lord; let the beauty and glory of Your perpetual light shine upon each one of them.:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Yes, my personal prayer might not move mountains, but together our prayer intentions reach into the heavenly throne room!:ROFLMAO:
