Good article. Temptation led to the fall and the book of Job reveals, “Is not the life of man upon earth a temptation". Oscar Wilde's joke 'I can resist anything except temptation' has a certain ring of truth to it. Thankfully in the next life there will be no temptations.
In purgatory too in spite of the sufferings there it is joyful because they never again have to endure temptation.
I believe St Teresa of Avila said that it is possible with the grace of God to become a saint through saying one, 'Our Father', if we said it properly.
