Those were my exact thoughts today at Mass. I've been having a very hard time lately, and Mass is the one place I feel like I'm home. It's a window into Heaven.

This is why I'm very grateful 5 of my children have already made it to Heaven. They're already safely home.

I want to help my remaining 4 get there as well.

Yes I have heard Ezechial quoted again and again for our present days. It seems uncannily accurate.

I think it what its all about/ helping those we love and maybe more so, the ones we find hard to love, to get to Heaven. I often tell my lovely wife that she always points me in that direction

An intermediate coming. Not the end of the world.

I do not agree. I think we are close to the Final Judgement.

Prophecy of Last Days by Saint Louis de Montfort

    By Brother Joseph Freyaldenhoven

    Excerpt from the article:

We call Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort a prophet of the last days, though he lived between the latter half of the seventeenth century and the early eighteenth century, because of the remarkable prophecies he left behind—prophecies that speak directly to these times.

    […]

    The Prophecies

Louis de Montfort foretold the emergence of the “Apostles of the Latter Times”—a band of saints uniquely consecrated to Mary, destined to oppose the Antichrist, restore the Church, and usher in the reign of Christ through her. In his work, True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin, he describes a period of heightened spiritual conflict, in which these apostles will be marked by humility, poverty of spirit, and enduring persecution. Mary’s power over the devil will shine brightest in the end times:

… towards the end of the world, …. Almighty God and His holy Mother are to raise up saints who will surpass in holiness most other saints as much as the cedars of Lebanon tower above little shrubs. These great souls filled with grace and zeal will be chosen to oppose the enemies of God who are raging on all sides. They will be exceptionally devoted to the Blessed Virgin. Illumined by her light, strengthened by her spirit, supported by her arms, sheltered under her protection, they will fight with one hand and build with the other.

With one hand they will give battle, overthrowing and crushing heretics and their heresies, schismatics and their schisms, idolaters and their idolatries, sinners and their wickedness. With the other hand they will build the temple of the true Solomon and the mystical city of God, namely, the Blessed Virgin…

They will be like thunderclouds flying through the air at the slightest breath of the Holy Spirit. Attached to nothing, surprised at nothing, they will shower down the rain of God’s word and of eternal life. They will thunder against sin; they will storm against the world; they will strike down the devil and his followers and for life and for death, they will pierce through and through with the two-edged sword of God’s word all those against whom they are sent by Almighty God.

They will be true apostles of the latter times to whom the Lord of Hosts will give eloquence and strength to work wonders and carry off glorious spoils from His enemies. They will sleep without gold or silver and, more important still, without concern in the midst of other priests, ecclesiastics and clerics. Yet they will have the silver wings of the dove enabling them to go wherever the Holy Spirit calls them, filled as they are, with the resolve to seek the glory of God and the salvation of souls. Wherever they preach, they will leave behind them nothing but the gold of love, which is the fulfillment of the whole law.

They will have the two-edged sword of the Word of God in their mouths and the bloodstained standard of the Cross on their shoulders. They will carry the Crucifix in their right hand and the rosary in their left, and the holy names of Jesus and Mary on their heart.

Mary scarcely appeared in the first coming of Christ…

But in the second coming of Jesus Christ, Mary must be known and openly revealed by the Holy Spirit so that Jesus may be known, loved and served through her.

I'm pretty sure I've met a couple of these priests already.

Every very holy young priest I've met in the last several years had a special devotion to Our Lady, without exception.

I'm in a large FSSP parish that often has brand new priests (or deacons who will be ordained priests soon) come stay with us for a while, and as the years progress, the new young priests seem more and more deeply spiritual and in love with Our Lady. I noticed this trend beginning when I was still attending novus ordo parishes, so it's not just the FSSP. It's why I've been so optimistic about the direction the Church is headed, and why I believe great persecution is around the corner. The world will fight these new priests; there's no way there will not be a battle.

I've had quite a lot going on in my life lately. Besides my personal adjustments relevant to my fall last October, and certain family issues, today I brought Holy Communion once more to one of my best friends, Bruce, who faces death in the near future. His saintliness is somewhat disguised by his "say it like it is" disposition (could be a distant relative of Padraig);). And then it is springtime when graveside committals are numerous due to the Spring thaw. So I've actually pondered about my own personal judgment, of late. The Masses took a bit of the wind out of my sails this weekend, so I sneaked in a nap early this afternoon.

Needless to say, in the end Christ's merciful Love must be the foundation of our hope!

1Cor 13:13 So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Call me crazy, but I see the Final Judgement separate from Christ Coming in glory to earth. The Our Father is a prayer of hope about the Second Coming for His kingdom to come to earth. While the Last Judgement is not about earth. By the time the Last Judgement arrives there is no more earth.
That’s why I still believe we are not at the end of the world, but at the end of an era, waiting for the era of peace Our Lady promised in Fatima. His Second Coming will bring Her triumph. Maybe we will soon see a new era of all Christian churches finally uniting under one Catholic Church. What a triumph that would be!

Our Lady told this very saintly priest that very, very few Catholics indeed will remain Faithful and that the rest of the Catholics will persecute them with a great fury. I always thought this was so and it is already starting to happen.

I always imagined the two events going together- the second coming of Christ where he then defeats the Antichrist, then there would be the Final Judgement and then earth would be renewed. Why would we say "world without end?"
