I am seeing chatter that the IRGC has conducted a coup over the government in Iran. Trump has also extended the ceasefire until there is a unified proposal.

If I am reading this correctly, the IRGC is taking over everything so a unified proposal can be made and Trump is giving them time to do it. At least this is what it looks like to me. Could be the total opposite, but that would go counter to the extended ceasefire.

    Prayers for peace ️

I've been dipping into some Latin again recently. A few pages on Fb have some good illustrations and basic phrases etc. This one came up earlier.

    Remind you of anyone?
(Actually, a few spring to mind)

Since the beginning of the truce between Iran and the USA until today, the US Army has carried out 819 logistical transport flights from the USA to the Middle East region. For comparison: just three weeks before the start of the war in Ramadan, only 542 flights were recorded. This time, the war will be of an extremely large scale.

In the first days of the war, Iran struck a cloud seeding and climate modification center located in the UAE (the HAARP project ??), after which the situation drastically changed.

Regular heavy rains began in Iraq and Iran, and the temperature dropped by about 5°C.

The drought in Iran ended, and the rainfall intensified so much that floods occurred, despite the previous water shortage.

The facility in the UAE was not only for research purposes, but was also aimed at influencing the climate in the region.

There is no chance of a negotiated settlement with Kushner -

These talks give the USA more time to arm and prepare for further escalation.

What I can't understand is how a Catholic like Vance can sleep in his bed at night when the Americans bomb innocent civilians and Trump threatens to eradicate civilization in Iran - I am beginning to wonder if his faith runs skin deep - God forgive him for taking sides with the Zionists.

I watched a short interview with Ali Khomeini, the assassinated religious leader of Iranians and Shia Muslims. I can say that the Iranians and their leadership are at a much higher level of morality and honesty than Western politicians. I can freely say they are much closer to God within the limited understanding of God that they have been given. They have an exceptionally strong sense of moral values and justice. He also explained the slogan “Death to America,” saying it refers exclusively to their leadership because of their decadent behavior, that American and European politicians cannot be trusted, neither in what they say nor what they put on paper, and that they lack a sense of justice, morality, and responsibility toward anyone. In the end, his words proved true, as he was killed during negotiations that were used as bait for an attack, something Trump clearly confirmed.

When you look at the situation in the Middle East, in 1953, during Operation Ajax, the CIA and MI6, that is the United States and Britain, carried out a coup against Iran’s democratically elected prime minister, who was extremely popular and wanted to nationalize oil because both countries were exploiting it unfairly at the expense of the Iranian people. They installed Reza Pahlavi as a dictator and monarch who ruled Iran with an iron fist. SAVAK carried out large scale torture against thousands of political prisoners. Methods included not only electric shock and beatings, but also the insertion of bottles in the rectum, hanging weights from testicles, rape, and devices such as a helmet worn over the victim’s head to amplify their own screams. Such methods were used against many intellectuals, artists, writers, and other perceived dissidents. Pahlavi has been described as autocratic and deeply unpopular.

After that came the 1979 Iranian Revolution, when the dictator was overthrown and Islamists dissatisfied with the regime came to power. Then the United States financed Saddam Hussein and the war against Iran, in which around two million people were killed, including about one million Iranians. Iran was also financed and supported by none other than Israel. As Hussein and Iraq grew stronger, they attacked Kuwait, which is rich in oil, raising questions about American dominance and the dollar. First Bush Sr., then Clinton with sanctions, and then Bush Jr. attacked Iraq under false claims of nuclear weapons. Altogether, several hundred thousand Iraqis were killed, and many more died of starvation. Today, every transaction and sale of Iraqi oil goes through American banks, which then send the money to Iraq, if authorities do not approve it, the money remains in those accounts.

In the 1980s, the United States funded the Taliban in Afghanistan against the Soviets, only to later declare them terrorists in 2001 and launch an attack on Afghanistan, which served as a cover for heroin production and trafficking. In 2004, Gaddafi and Libya, the richest country in Africa at the time, agreed not to develop nuclear weapons, yet in 2009 Libya was attacked by the United States and its European partners France and Italy. Gaddafi was killed, the country fell into civil war, al Qaeda gained access to oil fields which were resold to American oil companies, and debts of France and Italy worth 300 billion dollars to Libya were erased.
Syria was a tougher case, ruled by Assad, a Druze by religion belonging to a minority in Syria, and a secular leader. The United States funded radical opposition, Islamist cells of al Qaeda, labeling them moderate fighters. After a 15 year war and support, they came to power, including al Qaeda leader Jolani, who then continued the persecution of Christians and Druze. Israel expanded into Syria, cutting Hezbollah’s supply routes from Iran.

In 2023, Israel launched an offensive on Gaza, where according to some estimates up to half a million Palestinians, about 25 percent of the population, have been killed, most of them children, and the war continues. Israel then moved into conflict with Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran. During negotiations in 2025, the United States attacked Iran, destroying nuclear facilities that Trump claimed would never recover. Then in 2026, during negotiations again, the United States and Israel attacked once more, killing Iran’s religious leader and leadership, followed by economic collapse.

This is a brief summary of these events. And then you ask yourself, if you were Iranian, would you not chant the same, would you not think that this regime, responsible for civil wars, dictators, and so many deaths in the region, which attacked you several times and killed so many children, deserves it. A leadership that presents itself as godlike, lies, does not honor agreements, steals oil, allows the destruction of Christian symbols in Lebanon, statues of Jesus and Mary, the killing of priests and destruction of churches, with the blessing of Protestant religious leaders, all for the benefit of Israel as an ally.

If I were Iranian, I would probably hate the United States and the West. I would probably ask what kind of Christian faith allows its leader, who claims to be Christian, to commit such evil in God’s name, to mock his God(Jesus), and allow the destruction of symbols of that very faith.

God loves the righteous in every nation, as the Apostle Peter says in the Acts of the Apostles, that is the Word of God. God does not look at nationality, origin, or affiliation, but at a person’s deeds and heart. Having the full Word and law means nothing if we are the first to break it. Did not Satan have the greatest knowledge among all angels, far more than the archangel Michael. Did not Jesus say of the Roman centurion that in all Israel, among thousands of Pharisees and scribes, He had not found greater faith, even though the man was a pagan and a Roman. Did not Christ choose a simple fisherman, Peter, as the leader of the Church, rather than a scribe or Pharisee who had studied all his life. And in everyday life, do we not unfortunately see that poor people are often more honest than many highly educated judges, professors, and politicians who know the law but skillfully twist and break it through lies and schemes.

Knowing the law is not the same as being faithful to it. It is better to be faithful in small things to the end than to have much and not respect it at all.
I also watched an interview with the exorcist priest Ripperger, who said that curses most often return to those who utter them. If we consider what has been done in the name of the West over the past 50 years, especially since the fall of communism in 1990, it is no wonder these things will come back to us, and already are, and that our oppressors will be these same Western rulers, those we see as politicians and those in the shadows. The same ones who brought the corona terror, mass migrations, the LGBT agenda, those like the Canadian minister of education who recently said that children do not belong to their parents but to the state.
I wish the Iranians endurance, first in justice and morality, and that one day, in a more normal world, they come to know Christianity in its fullness, where their partial understanding of justice and morality will unite with God, that is Jesus Christ, who brings the fullness of the way and the truth.

Unfortunately, the war will continue, and I fear that Trump is preparing something dangerous that could end the war very quickly, because rising oil prices are putting pressure on them. They are looking for a fast way out, direct and painful. In any case, I expect an economic crisis, as well as long term shortages of food and medicine if all of this continues.

All of this will come back like a boomerang to the West. Do not be surprised if the Middle East celebrates with joy, enjoying things in the same way we once enjoyed life while their cities were burning, and politicians and the media were convincing us that they deserved it because they were “evil.”

There have been quite a few articles—countries there are using weather modification to increase rainfall due to the very dry period. March is usually the rainiest month there anyway. There are many theories, and even The New York Times published an article about how the floods developed after war started and how heavy rains have been affecting the Middle East: https://www.nytimes.com/2026/03/25/weather/iran-uae-storm-flooding-rain.html.

I also found reports in Iranian newspapers saying that precipitation was about 5–10% higher than before… Jimmy Dore also made a podcast about the topic.

E Michael Jones has an interesting take on Iran's role:

"Iran is now functioning as Islam has always functioned, as the scourge of God to correct a nation that has become incorrigible in its sin. Iran played this role centuries before it became Muslim. When the Hebrews refused to listen to the prophet Jeremiah, God sent Nebuchadnezzar as "the servant of God" to punish them by destroying the Temple and leading them into a Babylonian captivity which lasted 70 years. He then sent Cyrus, the King of Persia, to free them and send them back to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple. God used another king of Persia to restrain Julian the Apostate when that Roman emperor tried to destroy Christianity and rebuild the Temple without divine permission. God is using Iran in our day to chastise Israel and America for their wickedness. At moments like this, we need to remember that God's chastisement is always an expression of his mercy. America has shown itself incapable of breaking the yoke of Jewish tyranny. We should, therefore, see the current struggle as the moment of our deliverance from a foe too powerful to defeat without God's help."

    We never learn!
A nation that rejects God so fervently always suffers His wrath...
There are many examples of this throughout history. But surely, no nation (or block of nations) has sinned and has gone contrary to His law moreso than the wicked West of today. We took sin to a level that must even have surprised satan himself!

    We deserve what's coming.
