I don’t know, it’s certainly conceivable that it was all just a charade and a deception from the very start. At the moment, however, I consider it more likely that certain things led to his change of heart. Melania’s bizarre, allegedly unplanned media appearance recently, along with other emerging stories, suggests that the two were indeed involved in the Epstein story.
During his first term in office, I somehow got the impression that Trump might have distanced himself from his former self. When he spoke of the ‘boss up there’, it struck me as genuine at the time.
Another thing is - it’s not just him. The whole group of people who once seemed to have integrity has changed – Patel, Gabbard, Bondi and whoever else there is.
Didn’t photos of Fr Ripperger at Mar-a-Lago even circulate during his first term in office?
And he also had allies who no longer recognise him today – Carlson, Owens, Megyn Kelly, Alex Jones, for example.
Just a few days ago, Tucker issued a statement after he, Candace Owens and the other two mentioned were subjected to crude insults by Trump.
This statement by Tucker (He´s in a Tough Spot) and remarks by Fr Ripperger – that people in positions of power are particularly prone to demonic attacks, and that exorcists sense that demons possess special power in present days – lead me to believe that Trump has not been deliberately deceiving everyone all along, but rather that he lacks the spiritual resources to resist evil influences. Where is he supposed to obtain ‘the full armour of God’ from, certainly not from Pastor Paula White. She herself seems possessed.
Of course, that doesn’t excuse any of his actions.
But it has made me more grateful than ever that I’m not in a position of power myself.
When I think about how hard I sometimes have to fight against temptation, I really don’t know how steadfast I could be...

(Btw - Candace Owens also linked Trump’s negative transformation to the timing of the assassination attempt. She claims that Charlie Kirk told her Trump wanted to double-cross Adelson – taking the multi-million-dollar donation without doing anything in return. And that Trump saw the assassination attempt as a warning to stick to “agreements”.)

I read a wonderful story about Pope St John Paul that came from his driver when he was Cardinal of Krakow. The Communist Minister in charge of Religious affairs called John Paul in and to humiliate and annoy him they made him wait two hours outside the office. The driver said the saint was not the least bit annoyed and just sat there saying the rosary.

The funny thing is the the Communists liked Pope John Paul and were glad when he was made Pope. He thought he would be the easiest going and the most likely to sell out the Church. Were they ever wrong.

 

I would guess the secret of Pope John Paul's sanctity was the rosary.

Now there was a gentleman who knew how to suffer!!

 

This picture that Trump posted on the internet seemingly portraying himself as Christ, was done by an artist in early February. I hope it was satire. However, Trump or somebody altered the picture. Trump’s picture had what looks like the image of the devil on the top. He has since deleted it, but it’s all over the world. I’ve tried saving it here, but it won’t do so.

The Chinese Defense Ministry has announced that it has an agreement with Iran that it will honour and its ships will continue to sail through the Strait of Hormuz. It expects these ships will not be interfered with.

Thus, Trump’s blockade, if carried out, will be a declaration of war on China. As I understand it, a blockade in itself is considered an act of war.

I’ve said for a long time there needs to be an age limit for the office of Pres. Anyone over 65 is too old. It’s a huge responsibility, too much for an old person male or female. I’m 76 and no way could I think about it. My husband is 82 and it’s all he can do to run the lawn mower! Look at Biden, look at Reagan etc. put in the mandatory retirement age …
