I wanted to hear other's thoughts on this bible? It looks like they finally got both the new and old testament done as far as notes and cross references.

I for one am excited and have one on order currently.

I still read my Douay Rheims but the RSV2CE reads a little smoother for me.

I've been looking forward to the release of this study bible but haven't ordered it yet. You might be interested in this review by Luis Dizon where he discusses it with Michael Lofton.

They mention the Ignatius New Testament being on a website named Verbum. I had never heard of that website but I think that I might be more inclined to use it than the hard copy version (the new full Bible is not yet on the website). I'll still buy the hard copy because it seems to be top quality. Verbum is a subscription website but I can't see the subscription price: https://verbum.com/#what-is-verbum

Wow, that was a great review. Verbum is something I will have to explore because it seems like a very robust tool. Thank you for pointing me to this video.

The website Verbum looks very interesting.

I am sharing a website that gives some great courses, some of them free! You should also check out the interviews with Dr. Bergsma on Pints with Aquinas, I loved listening to all the little details he explains and points out that help reveal the truth of the gospel and old Testament. They also have that same Bible available for order through their website so it must be a good one.

Thanks for the information it is much appreciated, and I'll definitely take a look at the website.

Yeah, I've been waiting for years for this bible to be ready. I can't believe the time is finally here!

The bible arrived yesterday and it is indeed a thick one as anticipated. Looking forward to jumping in.

They have released the personal sized version of this bible. I have since traded out my larger one for this version. It is slightly thinner and shorter with around a 1 pt font size reduction.

They have also released bible tabs made specifically for this Bible that fit the standard and personal size.

Here are a couple of pictures of the bible with tabs I recently added.

I've also added a video where Ignatius Press talks about the personal size version at around the 1:30 mark. You'll have to click on the video and watch it on YouTube.

I went to order it but they need to charge double to have it shipped to Spain. It looks stunning. Plus the app thrown in for 15$

    One day, I hope.

Sorry to hear that. Shipping international is off the charts these days.

My go-to Study Bible which mostly spares me from plowing through thick Biblical Commentaries since the thorough notes are at the bottom of each page. (y)
