Latest Medjugorje Message, March 25, 2026 “Dear children, The poison of selfishness and hatred rules human hearts and that is why you do not have peace. I am calling you, little children: be love and my extended hands to all those whom you meet. In humility, pray for peace and work on reconciliation among people, so that it may be good for every person on earth. Thank you for having responded to my call. ”
I didn’t know that the sequel to the film The Passion – Resurrection, directed by Mel Gibson, which will be released in two parts—with the first coming out exactly on today’s date, March 26, 2027 would be without Jim Caviezel and the entire original cast. Honestly, I find that deeply disappointing. I know we shouldn’t become attached to people in that way, especially to those who portray Christ, because we cannot say of anyone that they are truly worthy of that role. Still, Jim delivered a fantastic performance, and before that he had acted, in my view, in at least ten morally inspiring films, almost as if God had been preparing him for this role—though of course, not with certainty. His deep faith, his ability to convey emotion and Christ’s suffering, are among the main reasons why that film had such a powerful impact on audiences and so strongly conveyed God’s love for humanity. Mel Gibson is a man of deep faith who has stumbled along that path, and I hope this decision is truly a plan based on age—which may have become an insurmountable obstacle here so that a younger cast was chosen, rather than it being due to politics, ideology, or the influence of a powerful Jewish lobby that also caused significant issues during the first film. My personal view is that even the timing of the film’s release is not a coincidence. It has been 23 years, and now it is happening amid incredible historical events in the Middle East involving Israel, Iran, Syria, and Lebanon, along with what is happening in Ukraine and the broader ideological climate. If you look back, The Passion was released when Pope John Paul II was on the papal throne, and George W. Bush was in his first term. People generally believed there were only two genders, and that women could only give birth. The world has certainly changed and unfortunately, I can’t say it has changed for the better. Cast: Jaakko Ohtonen as Jesus, replacing Jim Caviezel Mariela Garriga as Mary Magdalene, replacing Monica Bellucci Kasia Smutniak as Mary, replacing Maia Morgenstern Pier Luigi Pasino as Peter, replacing Francesco De Vito Riccardo Scamarcio as Pontius Pilate, replacing Hristo Naumov Shopov Rupert Everett Because of the time frame in which “The Resurrection of the Christ” takes place — three days after Christ’s crucifixion on Good Friday — “it made sense to recast the whole film,” a source close to the production told Variety. “They would have had to do all this CGI stuff, all this digital stuff — de-aging and all that — that would have been very costly,” the source noted.

Yes. I watched a thing on it. Jim was just too old to play the role. Gibson had actually tried special effects to allow him to play the role again. But even then, it wasn't working.. So they both reluctantly called it quits...

Sad and completely inappropriate. Prayers Joint Press Release The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land Holy City of Jerusalem Palm Sunday, 29 March 2026 This morning, the Israeli Police prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, together with the Custos of the Holy Land, the Most Reverend Fr. Francesco Ielpo, OFM, the official Guardian of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, as they made their way to celebrate the Palm Sunday Mass. The two were stopped en route, while proceeding privately and without any characteristics of a procession or ceremonial act, and were compelled to turn back. As a result, and for the first time in centuries, the Heads of the Church were prevented from celebrating the Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This incident is a grave precedent, and disregard the sensibilities of billions of people around the world who, during this week, look to Jerusalem. The Heads of the Churches have acted with full responsibility and, since the outset of the war, have complied with all imposed restrictions: public gatherings were cancelled, attendance was prohibited, and arrangements were made to broadcast the celebrations to hundreds of millions of faithful worldwide, who, during these days of Easter, turn their eyes to Jerusalem and to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Preventing the entry of the Cardinal and the Custos, who bear the highest ecclesiastical responsibility for the Catholic Church and the Holy Places, constitutes a manifestly unreasonable and grossly disproportionate measure. This hasty and fundamentally flawed decision, tainted by improper considerations, represents an extreme departure from basic principles of reasonableness, freedom of worship, and respect for the Status Quo. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land express their profound sorrow to the Christian faithful in the Holy Land and throughout the world that prayer on one of the most sacred days of the Christian calendar has thus been prevented.
These Jews are in mental darkness because they refuse to recognise the Light. The only good thing about this & the current war is that it will force the Church to reassess Catholic-Jewish relations & realise zionism is completely incompatible with Catholicism. It is time to reintroduce prayers for tbe conversion of the Jews back in to the liturgy. Catholic-Jewish dialogue had been a spectacular failure for both the Church and the world.
I read somewhere that this is the first time in history that the Holy Sepulchre has been closed to Pilgrims. When the Muslims ruled Jerusalem that always allowed Christians to enter. I see they have closed off entrance to the Al Asqa Mosque the third Holiest Site in Christendom. I suspect the Zionists and the Jewish people as a whole are riding towards a big fall in all this. Islam is not as forgiving as we Catholics.
The world is in such darkness now. The rage of the demons is everywhere! It takes all our courage and perseverance to not despair of the times we are living in. It is not one person, one ethnic group, one country against each other, "for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places." Surrounded by darkness everywhere waiting for the light. Thank God we have more converts this year than we have had in a long time. Many are seeing the light, tired of the god of politics and unfulfilled promises. This morning our Parish Priest announced at the end of Mass how our own little town, in the midwest farming country has been invaded by demons. Twice someone has taken the Blessed Eucharist from the Communion line and deposited it in the garbage can in the restroom. They think they know who it is . . . Our Priest said he and the other Priests in our Parish know when they take their vows they will be ridiculed, mocked, yelled at, even willing to be martyred. But he said, will will not disrespect Our Lord. Of course we are all horrified at such an act. It is but another sign that the demons are raging against goodness and humanity. Entering into Holy Week and the Passion, seeing what is going on the world must make us stronger to meet the evil head on. Persevere . . .When the Saints Go Marching In, God Help Us. . .
I believe that everything is as God has planned it… Caviezel carried his cross; by portraying the role of Christ he brought so many blessings and conversions, and he vividly showed the suffering and pain that God endured out of love for humankind. Otherwise, I know that Jim Caviezel, like Robert Powell, was not a believer or at least did not give much importance to faith until taking on the role of Christ. Powell played Jesus in the 1977 film Jesus of Nazareth. As for this actor, I only know that he is from Finland, where atheism along with the Czech Republic and Estonia is among the highest in Europe, I believe reaching up to 80%. I assume (I haven’t researched it) that he is not a believer, but I don’t doubt that the role will change his life as well.
I read yesterday that the Syrian ‘president’ is expected in Germany for a ‘state visit’. I’ve just stumbled across a live stream of the press conference. Despite all the horrors that anyone with an interest in politics has been subjected to for years, this remains one of the craziest moves by our utterly deranged political elite. There’s a bloke in a tracksuit being feted as a guest by the Chancellor, showered with millions, who was only recently on the FBI’s most-wanted list and whose islamist henchmen are operating openly in Syria just as we’ve come to expect. I couldn't be any angrier with my politicians. Syria: This weekend, swarms of Muslims travelled to Al-Suqaylabiyah to attack the ancient Christian village. They didn’t seem very nervous about broadcasting their identities or intentions. https://x.com/ChristianEmerg1/status/2038382061396861180 After massacring Alawites and Druze the pogrom against Christians has begun. Jolani thugs are attacking Christian businesses and homes. Churches attacked and statues of virgin Mary destroyed. Thank you USA for bringing “democracy and freedom” to Syria. https://x.com/RupertStone83/status/2037783921111302519 Incidentally, Joe Kent has confirmed yet another ‘conspiracy theory’. The US’s Former Counterterrorism Director Says Washington Armed Al-Qaeda To Destroy Syria Joe Kent, who recently resigned from his post in the Trump administration as an act of protest against the Iran War, exposes the US’s plot to arm Al-Qaeda and create ISIS as a means of achieving regime change in Syria. https://x.com/MintPressNews/status/2037640418305663332 And let’s not forget to pray for our persecuted brothers in Lebanon. Gaza 2.0. I hope and pray that the Lebanese user here isn’t directly affected. Edit: I hope that German politicians will be the first to be massacred by them when the time comes! Syrians are welcoming their leader Jolani in Berlin, while their fellow Muslims are attacking Christians in Syria. So why don’t they leave Germany and go back home? https://x.com/realMaalouf/status/2038380784910815485? https://x.com/real_DefendWest/status/2038382565111873599
Synopsis: Carlo gave a message to a priest that the illumination would take place this Easter at 3 pm.
I wish for it to be true for such would show where I have forgotten or blinded myself to my own indifference. Certainly we have to agree that such a wonderful fulfillment would awaken billions of souls to the reality of their separation from God. But I seriously doubt this particular clip. It is too polished, though given the depravity of this particular moment of crisis and apostasy, I would welcome such.
