I thought I would put up a thread to encourage prayers for Peace in the World and Peace in our hearts. Our Lady has been asking for prayers for peace from who knows how long. I remember these calls when I was a child. But just at the moment the need for prayers for peace really touch my heart. Queen of Peace intercede for us.

I got a very comforting Word in prayer yesterday, 'I am leading you into the Desert'. Hosea 2:14 14 “Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her. So as the World becomes more materially difficult and even dangerous we are called to go into the desert with Jesus. Just as Jesus Himself called the apostles to join Him in prayer in desolate places. This is a gentle calling to, 'Come out from amongst them'. To leave the World of certainty , to cross the barren desert and not be afraid. I love this and find it very comforting. Many others have walked in the desert before us. We are a chosen people, walking in the desert is nothing new to us. Isaiah 43:2-3 - "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead." Luke 6:20 - "And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God."
From an online Novena to Our Lady, Queen of Peace: "Our Lady of Peace, you long for your Son’s peace to reign in the world today. Your Son does not want wars or conflict to rage in our world as it so often does, and your motherly heart breaks for all who suffer as a result of war in our world. We bring our needs to your motherly care, and we especially ask today that you intercede so that we may have peace in our world! Pray for us, that we may do all we can to serve God worthily in our lives. Pray that we may always answer God’s call to serve Him in whatever ways He wishes. Queen of Peace, pray that my interior swords may be beaten into plough shares and those interior plough shares can be used to reap much good fruit.
We should really be turning to God and our Blessed Mother as a Church at the moment. This is not happening. Our Bishops and the Vatican are so silent when they should be leading us in a shout to heaven for deliverance. I hope they do so and that when they finally do, if ever, that is will not be too late.
Individual prayer for peace at the moment is great. Group prayer is even better. But we need to be praying as a Church at the moment with Reparation, led by the Pope. This is not happening. Why not? It would require recognition of collective guilt springing from an active conscience underled from a Living Faith.
