Sadly, the Augustinians announce that they are leaving Washington Street, Cork due to lack of vocations.
In Limerick, the Our Lady of Lourdes parish church in Weston is due to close because of diminishing church goers. The Holy Family parish church in Southill are having consultative talks with it's parishioners to see hopw it can remain open. On the other hand, mosques are getting planning permission nationwide to open. I sincerely believe God's hand has been waived because of Ireland's pagan & satanic policies lately.
Beginning about the 31 minute mark the above discussion turns to whether or not the Irish people have the gumption to stand up against the "modern devilish State", or not? Makes me think of the nickname given to the football team of the Notre Dame University in my country of the USA: the Fighting Irish? 'Tis a challenging question for all Catholics everywhere! Ephesians 6 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; 16 above all taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints!
Fighting Irish we are no longer! We rolled up our sleeves and took the jibjab by the bucket load. I remember sitting in mass and walking in shops and me the only one not wearing a mask. And people looking at me as if I had two heads! We fall for everything they throw at us. From butchering our poor babies to rejecting church teaching on marriage. We sold our souls and rejected our God for big houses and fancy cars. And The Almighty has left us to it. And well he should. We are a disgrace. And we deserve all that is most certainly coming our way.
