A book from 1996 looking at well known apparitions of the Blessed Mother by artist, writer and psychic researcher Ingo Swann, widely considered to be the father of 'remote viewing'.
I had a copy of this book years ago but don't think I read it all at the time. It came to mind again when someone mentioned Swann to me a while back, in a different context.
I found it on Kindle and will have a look through it and see how it seems now.
A few of the apparitions are unapproved but the majority are fully recognised by the Church.

The striking cover illustration was painted by Swann in 1986 and called 'Madre Dolorosa'.

I never heard of Ingo. I would be very careful though of any kind of New Age. I would not read this myself.

Thanks Padraig, I will indeed tread carefully. I was a bit reluctant to post it and decided to put it into the Mystical and Paranormal section.
I don't think it's exactly New Age but it is surprising that someone with his background would write a book like this.
This is from a foreword to the book:

"And what of the Holy Mother’s signal request, reiterated again and again in all of the great speaking apparitions: “Pray! Pray! Pray for peace! Be reconciled!”
If we try to be practical, as pragmatic as possible, as logical and perhaps even as scientific as possible, what are we to conclude? Surely it must be admitted that something truly remarkable took place at each of the great apparitions considered in this book."

    Matthew 7:21-23

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [a]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

As far as I know the Cause for Father Renee's cause for Beatifcation is going forward in Rome. He was very, very holy indeed and thus worth listening too.

Another two good reasons for listening to him is that he had excellent powers of discernment between the true and the false.

Another was he was not afraid to call out evil goings on in the Church itself. We get this so rarely.

I found this recent 'review' of the Swann book by Diana Pasulka (who I hadn't heard of before) who is, apparently, a Roman Catholic and a Professor of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her own journey of faith is quite interesting. I've just been watching an interview she did last year and will post a link to that later, if anyone else might be interested in seeing that.

Oh dear. I think maybe you should bewareof Diana Pasulka. She is all in on aliens from space. This veers deeply into new age i think.

Thanks for the alert AED, as mentioned I hadn't heard of her before and don't know much about her. I haven't finished watching the interview I referred to earlier (It's about 2.5 hours long). No mention of aliens yet but I agree, it's a dangerous area to get into.
Might well be best to steer clear of this.
