The only problem I have with this prediction is that the great miracle is to happen in April and it will confirm the warning which must happen earlier. Concita will announce the Miracle in advance, 8 days beforehand. Therefore the warning will have to happen in January, February or March. I have followed Garabandal since approximately 1980 and I have heard so much speculation on dates. I watch Medjugorje because I think the first secret will be announced before any of these events happen. I may be completely wrong. Time will tell.
Even if my faith needs a shot of encouragement at times, I try to keep in mind that God's Love is both full and yet personal. After all, He selected one particular sperm and one particular egg out of hundreds to create each one of us. Therefore, I also believe that in each of our lives He also arranges interactions with others that will ignite faith in our hearts. And if the first interaction doesn't spark the ember of faith into flame, then perhaps the next encounter will, all in His Providential Will. Many of us can point to a moment in our life when the reality of God's love in our heart grew from nothing to a spark, or from a flicker to a flame, and then perhaps into a burning torch. And when faith is ignited then future interactions help grow that into a fiery flame of love toward others and shared with others. Satan knows this and is diligent to burden us with failures and rejections. Perhaps he will distract us through the false, self-ignited flames of ego, possessions, and/or success; anything to avoid that divine spark which the Holy Spirit ignites and nurtures into a torch of love. May we follow God's lead to reach out and help others! Isaiah 50 describes this in poetic fashion assuring us that even if we walk and struggle in days of darkness: seek only Him and His Will: 1o Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the voice of his servant, who walks in darkness and has no light, yet trusts in the name of the Lord and relies upon his God? 11 Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who set brands alight! Walk by the light of your fire, and by the brands which you have kindled! This shall you have from my hand: you shall lie down in torment. The flaming torch of God's Love will come, never give up hope though you or a loved one be in a present darkness!
I do the same. My father, who had been lapsed for quite a while, has extreme early onset dementia, and is practically non verbal at this point. I pray for God to have mercy upon him and his soul and ask forgiveness for his past flaws on a practically daily basis. I also pray for my mother and close friends who are protestants to come into the Catholic faith before its too late, while I also pray for longtime internet acquaintances that I care for who are very far from God that they will amend their ways and come to belief in God and His true love.

If the story is true, (and Vox Day quoted one individual who had already attacked Adams for 'cowardice' over it) it will imply no pride in Scott Adams' case, but a humble surrender and witness to His Lord, it appears. He would be admitting he was wrong, all along. In Hugo's case, he had harmed the faith of so many that he should have come public about it; perhaps he might have won many souls back. As the Catholic Church has always said, you need more than Faith alone.
Dementia is a symptom of the loss of connection between the soul (which is immortal) and its body (which is mortal), but nobody knows how each individual soul remains connected with Christ. It is a Mystery. Maybe, in His mercy, Christ comes closer to those suffering dementia, quite unknown to everyone else? Just because a demented person can't express his will and reason through his dysfunctional brain, so that it may be manifest in this world, does not imply that his will and reason no longer remain.
Dementia is a huge sacrifice and suffering, both for the person themselves and for their loved ones. This is where love is shown, and God purifies people through suffering... It is difficult for a person to understand this, especially when they do not believe or are superficial in their faith, but salvation is achieved through the cross. It is better to go through purgatory on Earth than in heaven. Many will be grateful one day.
To best understand this sacrifice, is to be a family member on the journey with their parent/sibling...now 2 of my aunts have it...vascular.
I think the biggest lie of satan - the one he told Adam and Eve- is God really does not love you as you are. We then create all these false idols/ money, fame, affections to worship rather than God.
I think you've nailed it! Thus we began the endless fruitless journey of self improvement or rather self perfection. This is where the Buddhists go wrong I think--we cannot self perfect. We can strive with God's grace to " be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect" but in humility accepting that we are clay in the Potter's hands. And that occasionally He must re-form the clay. We are the work of His Hands.
What Trump is doing is on the level of the greatest communist dictators, I know that people here don't like politics too much and I agree that the main hope for good or evil is only God, but this is pure plunder and robbery, threats and retaliation on a level that has only been seen in communist countries. They used to even hide it, now they are speaking openly... Currently, US special forces have seized a Russian-flagged tanker Mariner in international waters in the North Atlantic. Russian warships and their navy are only an hour away... This opens a pandora's box, literally every country now has the right to occupy another because it needs something, to hijack someone else's ship because we are "stronger" or at least that's what we think, and to legalize hijacking... All this will end very badly, if the army is really sent to "seize" Greenland by Trump, despite the fact that Denmark is a member of the NATO alliance, has allowed the construction of American military bases in Greenland and has signed an agreement since 1951, then it is practically a declaration of war on all dissenters. Pride goes before a fall. It looks like the year 2026 could be quite tense, it wouldn't be surprising if riots and wars break out.
Truly scary. This is a Greek tragedy playing out in front of us. Hubris always destroys the tragic hero. I pray it won't destroy the rest of us.
Im just so grateful to be able to go to Mass just about everyday. Its a gift and often an immediate consolation from God to my fears and anxieties in terms of health, kids, and these crazy world. Last night i just could not sleep well- physical pain that then went into spiritual complaining. Rather than see the crosses as gifts and sign of Gods love i just complained. And then the reading at Mass thus morning perfectly answered my complaint. Oh Lord, I believe but help my unbelief. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another. No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us. This is how we know that we remain in him and he in us, that he has given us of his Spirit. Moreover, we have seen and testify that the Father sent his Son as savior of the world. Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God. We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love.
When I pulled the plug in the bathroom sink that was full of water this morning, it immediately began to drain; at first I hardly noticed. However, when the suction of water formed a funnel, I better noticed the drainage, and knew the sink would soon be empty. Well, the funnel of cascading events is now readily visible. But God is in charge and we will always have access to living water to carry on. Stay close to Our Lady, to prayers, to the sacraments, and to Scripture.
