We may all agree we are in some crazy times...living out Revelations, but sometimes we just have to hold onto Our Rosaries and trust. If ever there was a time to pray, it's now. Having to know things that are going to happen and when, is God's job and my life is peaceful if I remember that.
A lot of BRICS countries are beginning to use gold and silver as reserve assets for settling trade accounts with other countries Which means gold and silver are being remonetized. The age of fiat money is slowly coming to an end -- thank God. We most certainly have been controlled by the unlimited creation of dollars within the US and also by Europe which creates Eurodollars through lending. There is huge central bank buying worldwide and also by the citizens of countries like India and China who know the value of these precious metals. From what I've heard the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) is being purposely drained of their gold and silver because their sole purpose was to suppress gold and silver prices using paper derivative contracts. Now their customers are "standing for delivery" and not just trading paper contracts. That may be why the mint is out of stock.

I understand that gold has fallen 9% this week. I don’t know how to explain that drop if demand exceeds supply.
Cardinal Delivers Exorcism Prayer in St. Peter’s Basilica: Ernest Cardinal Simoni, a 97-year-old Albanian who decades ago was tortured, imprisoned, and sentenced to death by communist in Albania, at the end of Mass at St. Peter's yesterday(26.10) went to the ambo and performed an exorcism by reciting the long St. Michael Prayer in Vatican. As Fr. Z comments, St. Peter's has needed that exorcism for a long while, given Pachamama, the two desecrations of the high altar, and the recent LGBTQ+ invasion, not to mention other violations. Thanks be to God for this bold intervention from a true confessor of the Faith. On Christmas Eve 1963, Fr. Simoni was arrested after celebrating a Mass for the repose of U.S. President John F. Kennedy’s soul—a gesture deemed subversive by authorities. Sentenced to death (later commuted to life imprisonment, then reduced to 28 years), he endured torture, hard labor in mines and factories, and psychological pressure, including offers to renounce his faith in exchange for freedom. For 18 of those years, he served as a clandestine confessor to fellow prisoners, administering sacraments in secret. Remarkably, Simoni harbored no resentment toward his captors, later stating, “Only love conquers.” He was released in 1990 following the regime’s collapse. He was raised to the cardinalate in 2016 by Pope Francis. video: https://x.com/i/status/1982587409544946149 https://wdtprs.com/2025/10/in-san-p...cXWgvY8bkEGPEydrOA_aem_4KAyd2SMHlqla-KfJtUhUg
Many parishes in Ireland do not have a mass on All Saints day this Saturday. Does the Saturday vigil cover both the Holy day obligation (or is this abrogated like the USA) and the sunday obligation?
This year, because All Saints’ Day falls on a Saturday, it is not a holy day of obligation in the US. Thus, the Saturday Vigil Mass is for the Sunday obligation.
