What came to my mind is that when the Church divides through synodal reforms, the world—in its worst biblical sense—will unite. Notice that as the Church was dividing in the 20th century, as a result of conciliar reforms, the process of globalization was intensifying. The rise of modern Babel could coincide with the peak of confusion within the Church.
Apparently at the very top end of things, where the so-called elites/billionaires move.... there is some kind of 'split'. On the one-hand there are those that believe the rest of us/the poor should continue to be given enough crumbs to sustain us. Enough to keep things ticking along as they always have. They then enjoy the trappings of their wealth. And things continue along as normal. However, on the other side of that particular coin, there are those that have one more to the fore, and these elites want absolutely everything: all resources; total control......ever increasingly ''weird stuff'.... even to the point of mass murder on a global scale. And, apparently this has caused some kind of schism up there... Who knows if its true or not. I read it somewhere.

I’ve wondered if, in the event that God sends a global cataclysm that shatters the world’s economies beyond any human control, the cornered elites might feel compelled to come together—despite their differences—as a resurgence of Babel, at its core a global union in opposition to God. I consider this possible based on the events that precede Revelation 16. The question remains whether we are already experiencing part of the events in the book, or if we are still in a gulf of separation from them that only precedes the coming of the Era of Peace.
Going deeper into AI is very concerning. This will not end well. President Trump had a bad time of it at the UN yesterday. Apparently the escalator that both he and the First Lady were riding abruptly stopped. The teleprompter wasn't functioning, and there were audio issues during his speech. It is believed to be sabotage and these incidents are now under investigation. The big question is why the Secret Service failed to act immediately when the escalator stopped since it was a big security risk for the President and First Lady.
