Effectively, the Gulf States, due to the new Saudi alliance with Pakistan, are now nuclear-armed and there is a historical rapprochement between the Sunni Arab states and Iran. The 'Greater Israel' project might be forced to be abandoned.

I think that if you checked Blumenthal's record you wouldn't find many complaints from him about the anti-Christian/woke infiltration of the universities which was decades in the making and eventually found its way into the public school system. There hasn't been a radical change in major funders of the universities in the past couple of years. That tells me that erasing Christianity from the education system was always the goal. They didn't care what replaced Christianity. The donors just didn't expect idealistic youngsters to see and protest against the hypocrisy staring them in the face.

Candace Owens made the fatal mistake of saying that the battle is not "left"-v-"right" but good -v-evil. She's beginning to connect the dots. If Charlie was as honest as they say he was, then he would have connected the same dots eventually. Charlie's death is being used to push a party political message. Pinning all the toxicity on Netanyahu, suggesting that Trump fears him, is convenient especially when Bibi could be deposed in Israel. The evil pre-dates Bibi and will continue after he's gone. It was Candace who pointed out that the Kushners (Trump's daughter and son-in-law) have invested millions of dollars in Israel in recent times. I think it was Candace who pointed out that Ivanka's father-in-law, pardoned by Trump after being convicted of witness tampering, was appointed US Ambassador to France. It was Candace who pointed out that the Tik-Tok deal Trump boasts about will see that youth-oriented platform owned by Zionists. We'll find out soon enough whether the fix is in for TPUSA. A millions dollars from Shapiro is not a good sign.

Charlie is not a martyr to Christianity. He's a martyr to freedom of speech. Lord have mercy on him.

 

One thing I think we can see in all this is how often God is writing straight in crooked lines. That he can bring about good even from great evil.

I would not take Charlie Kirk to be a saint. But in a way that makes me like him even more. I love the way he was struggling towards the truth and doing the right thing even if it was to cost him his life.

 

Well if he's a saint he's Catholic now - a member of the Church Triumphant. Was he perfect? Nothing imperfect can enter Heaven. He's the kind of person who likely had perfect contrition for his sins which could have saved him from Hell but it wouldn't wipe out the residual effects of sin. That requires purgation. Purgatory is outside our earthly time so we don't know whether it's an instant process or takes until the end of the world when all souls will be either in Heaven or Hell. Prayer is all anyone can do for him now.

Now we hear “outrage” from parts of the Republican Party over people celebrating the murder, but those same individuals remain silent—or even manipulate—the narrative around Epstein and the hundreds of underage girls who were victims of rape, pedophilia, and abuse by high-ranking U.S. political figures and numerous celebrities who are seen as role models by large segments of the public.

American society is becoming polarized. Kirk was a brave young man who fought for freedom of speech, but Catholic and Christian saints are not inspired by political battles or ideological fights, but rather by morality, justice, and truth.

I expect that his death will now be used to silence the part of the left that believes Israel is committing genocide, rather than to bring society back to a moral balance. Cultural Marxist ideologies will continue to be pushed in the American education system by the same sponsors as before. I hope I'm not being rude, but it seems to me that this assassination attempt is a diversion. Even if it was carried out by a lone individual, the media and political response has elevated it to a level that pushes other issues into the background primarily matters concerning Israel.

When will his actual funeral be held? The only results I get from an internet search are that memorial service but nothing about an actual burial. I didn't watch the memorial which I suppose was their version of a wake but when will they hold his actual funeral? They'd hardly bury him on a Sunday?

 

I'm just going by the conspiracy theories I've seen online. Some think Charlie is still alive, that he & Erika, his family are masons. All the clues of masonry, the number 33 etc.

I definitely think something is fishy. I'm not sure what to think of Erika's speech, I know grief affects ppl differently, it did feel like a performance to me.

CK's death has impacted the world. I pray for his soul, however it feels like idolatry to me. Ppl idolising these public figures the way they do with Candace Owens as well. God is the one bringing ppl back to Him thru these events but I feel ppl are idolising these ppl...

I love what these nuns said, it's not about the right vs the left or politics, it's the spiritual war of good vs evil.

I watched her speech at the memorial service. I thought it was amazing and she is an amazing woman. We can be cynical and keep looking under the bed but what's not to love about what she said about living a faith filled life. The family may have decided to have a private funeral with just close friends. That's their right. I totally applaud Erika Kirk. She is amazing. Pray for her and all involved in TPUSA. The Trump issue is different. Pray. If he is compromised it would be better he stepped aside in favour of Vance.

 

Others are definitely feeling the same. Erika has raised so much money on GoFundMe, millions. I tend to think a lot of wealthy ppl are masons anyway... Not all, but a lot would be, for sure...
