Electricians, plumbers, shoe cobblers, lamp shade makers, etc. There will still be plenty of jobs that won’t need AI. But it will be necessary for your children to know how to use a computer.
Computers are so easy to learn and get used to, though. The few times my kids have sat down at one at the library, they take to it like a duck to water. I am teaching the oldest how to type right now, for writing essays. I got a keyboard that can plug into my phone, and I use a typing practice app. He does that for 10 minutes each school day. Otherwise, he's using books or outside playing.
AI and the entire era of robotics are not being developed for your benefit, but to make a utopia possible. In that scenario, all of us become unnecessary, and they will likely limit the global population to around 500 million people. China, especially during the lockdowns, was a preview of how everything is supposed to look. I don’t want to scare anyone here, but the West is being deliberately weakened so that it eventually collapses, first morally, then demographically, and finally economically. The possibilities they now have for control via satellites and drones are terrifying, and 90% were not possible just 15 years ago. Starlink launched its first 60 or so satellites in May 2019, now they have over 9,000 and cover every corner of the country.... What is very important to them are self-driving cars, because they have to limit movement. Under the pretext of global warming, safe driving, reduced vehicle maintenance and driving costs, a massive turnaround will occur here in the next 2 to 3 years. Waymo alone, as one of the companies, had 250,000 rides per week in April. Now they have added a few more cities, by the end of the year they will increase the fleet by 2,000 vehicles, which will bring them to over 3,500, and the number of rides has probably doubled, and Musk's Robotaxi has also entered the scene. To have a driver's license in the future, you will need to have a very strong connection in the government, be an employee of the government, or do a specific job for which you will have permission. However, the laws will be rigorous for owning a vehicle for "our" safety. Now just remember the entry restrictions and various passes during the lockdown and that your transportation depends on it. 15 minute cities are on the way..
I think God will intervene, as He did during the vaccinations. Notice how they control us via electricity. Phones supervised, computers monitored, crypto, AI to drive us into the demonic, robots, government agencies, banks etc acting like big brother. Take electricity away and their power is gone, literally. Think Fatima miracle, "fire will fall from the sky". Some event like that. It'll be hard though for those that don't have self-sufficient land (but some here do). The survivors will envy the dead (Akita).
A metropolitan from Moscow will be meeting Leo on the 26th at the Vatican, maybe he'll invite him to Moscow? https://www.ansa.it/english/news/20...voy_533e58cb-2da6-4de4-b961-190e9342c89b.html
"In another development amid the sustained wave of settler violence, US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee on Saturday visited the town of Taybeh -- the last 100% Christian village in the West Bank. The ancient community -- said by the Bible to be the place where Jesus went before his passion -- has been besieged by violent Jewish settler attacks, including multiple arson attacks in recent weeks. In the latest incident, Jewish settlers set a fire next to the 1,500-year-old Byzantine church of St. George al Khader, and a cemetery." https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...illing-117-sheep-belonging-west-bank-bedouins Don't forget, your money is taken out of taxes and given to Israel so that they can freely oppress all minorities under the protection of the army...Whoever resists is taken to prison, tortured. In any case, they chase you away for the land, take your property and say that it is "God's will because God gave them the land". Never forget that Jesus Christ himself, the son of God, was killed because the learned religious people of that time did not know how to recognize the signs, nor interpret the word of God in the right way. To understand God, you do not need books, but a heart and love for man.
"He bringeth to naught the designs of the malignant, so that their hands can not accomplish what they had begun: Who catcheth the wise in their craftiness, and disappointeth the counsel of the wicked." --Job 5:12-13
Yes, PF, God is not blind to these travesties. We must trust, strive to live holy lives, and share the truth as best we are able. Meanwhile, to Holy Mass, to Confession, to Adoration. How can I best serve the needs of others?
Its interesting that you quote the book of Job. I have recently come to know him. Still, we know well that God triumphs and that we are to trust in Him totally. Nonetheless, countries like Ireland, who have lost the faith so spectacularly - who actually voted to butcher their own unborn... They may well face retribution, they have pushed God's protective hand away. And in have rushed the demons. We here in Ireland (and in much of the West generally) cannot complain if The Almighty permits a chastisement against us.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." And how do we battle this evil? By knowing every detail and every actor? No....Our Lady has made it clear that the triumph comes through prayer, penance and through love of God and neighbor.
In our little lives, God sometimes askes for heroic deeds. And yet He gives us the strength to answer, heroically! God is Good; ............ all the Time! All the time; ..............God is Good!
Perfect! Alyce and I are coming up to the one year anniversary of our car crash. Its been a year of loss and suffering. Alyce still suffering - 3 hospitalizations in last month. Sadly, we cannot travel to Ireland for our daughter's wedding. We had been praying and looking forward to her getting her civil wedding during covid finally sanctified in sacrament. But, God had a different plan for Alyce and I. Im not going to lie- this is mentally and emotionally hard. All our children and grandchildren and family are there. We are grateful for their presence there. And we are uniting our pain to Christs- knowing it is for the good of our souls and we pray helps anyone who is also suffering probably much more than we are. We are so blessed and loved that Christ would allow us to take our physical and emotional wounds and hide them within His most sacred wounds. So YES.. God is Good all the time, most especially in our most wounded moments. If you have a moment, say a wee prayer for our daughter and son in law that they fully know and appreciate the love of God for them in this holy sacrament of marriage. And prayer for my dear bride who despite her frailties heroically practices and exhibits a faith that completely sustains me.
Continued prayers for both your wife and yourself miker. Such courage during trials is awesome inspiring.
