I’ve already fielded one request to delete a forum member’s account today. To head this off now, and this is in no way critical of any forum member, just a general observation: You can simply log out and walk away from the forum. All it takes is the same simple act of the will one already employs to resist anything else.. Deleting your account isn’t necessary. The forum staff is busy with their own lives and all the staff here work for free The MOG staff simply does not have time to field requests to delete accounts at present.
On the other hand, for those who consciously or subconsciously wish to make a statement about the forum’s current content or direction by such a request ;-)
For myself? After my initial posts urging caution, I took forum members’ earlier advice to “wait and see.” Until something concrete develops I’m staying silent. All I have to go on is gut impression/ instinct, a couple very well connected friends, and concrete acts by the new pope. Two principles to follow in evaluating a person’s agenda: 1) “Don’t listen to what someone says. Watch what he DOES.” 2) “Personnel is policy.”
I check into google analytics everyday to check the figures on how the forum is doing and much to my surprise it seems to be taking of like a rocket ship and I have no idea why. It started of course , as you would expect, soaring when papa Frankie went to the Judgement Seat But I expected it to go back to normal. Instead of which ,like I say, it is taking of a like a rocket ship. Very surprised but very pleased. You just never know. bu
I love this forum and read it pretty frequently but rarely post because my opinions are slightly different in a lot of cases. I have a fascination with Catholic prophecy so like to stay in tuned with what everyone is saying and thinking. With that being said, I just finished reading this article at the airport and was speculating around how the NYTimes would cover my life if they interviewed people from every age and background of my life from high school on. The two most controversial items were that our Pope said homilies should be short like a miniskirt, and he advised a seminarian to replace his shoes with a hole in them in the snow of Chicago. I mean the last 2 weeks of my life are worse than what they could find in 67 years of the Holy Father. I love Padraig and don't doubt his mystical experiences or visions, but I find it more likely that God gave us a future saint to govern the church at this moment than to believe that a priest that literally no one has a bad word to say against is going to suspend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It does surprise me how many people are visiting the forum at the moment and from all over the World. I think about 50% more than usual. I have no idea why this is so. Off course with the death of Papa Frankie it would be expected but it should have long since faded out by now. It is the same with the Catholic Church as a whole, it seems to be going through some kind of mini Revival. It reminds me of the words of Scripture on the Holy Spirit: John 3:8. The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.
It could very well be attributed to some info from Glenn Hudson in the current Garabandal Magazine having a link to this forum. Readers may be coming here to get more of Glenn's info. Recent issues have info from Glenn but this is the first time I remember that the MotherofGod forum was listed a source.
