Canadian gov is coming for our churches

Imagine arriving at your church one Sunday – only to find it padlocked shut.

Doors barred. Lights out. Your fellow worshippers scattered outside the building.

Sound impossible? Well, it’s not.

Some MPs and anti-Christian special interest groups are laying the groundwork for this nightmare scenario right now.

They've proposed to strip religious groups and churches of charitable status. It’s detailed in an overlooked House of Commons Finance Committee report uncovered by Campaign Life Coalition.

If this happens, a "revocation tax" kicks in, meaning that the charity must pay the government a tax equal to 100 percent of the value of the organization’s goods and assets–buildings, properties, funds, etc.

If the religious group or church cannot pay this tax, the CRA has the power to seize and liquidate any and all assets to satisfy the tax debt.

The adoption of this proposal would empower the government to crush Christian Canada – for good. It would allow the government to target churches, charities, and pro-life organizations across Canada, stripping them of their critically important charitable status and, in essence, leaving them for dead.

My only question is, will the Bishops finally step up and defend us, or will they just cave and ask us for the money?

I have feared for awhile that Canada is slipping into full communism. Trudeau has done terrible harm to a country of good people who didn't see what they were signing on for--I hope he is gone soon!!!

 

Who will replace him ?? He will have a battle on his hands….. Canada needs a strong leader desperately. The people are more brain washed here, than in the US on woke.

 

If its Mark Carney, we're finished. He's a globalist worse than our current guy. Even conservative and likely next PM Poilievre isn't enough, still part of the Uni-Party system. I'm praying that we get a reprieve like the USA somehow.. 51st state? I wouldn't go that far but a DOGE for Canada? Absolutely!

Oh thank you for this LMF! We certainly need this. If the libs steal this election, Canada is done I fear. Its already pretty bad. I feel we'd be safer in Alberta than Ontario. Going to say this prayer but I have already been begging St Joseph and Our Lady to help.

 

You're welcome, and I'll be joining you in prayer. I truly fear for Nova Scotia, but there's no leaving at this point. Alberta appears to be "safe" at the moment, but I wonder for how long? If the status quo is kept, and the above recommendations passed into legislation, well.....May God help us all. Imho, one letter from the Bishops is not going to change hearts and minds in this case.

Carney is a Globalist banker elitist, and has been at the game a long time. Whereas Trudeau was a not-too-bright puppet, I believe Carney is a puppet-master. If they cheat this election to get in, then Canada is on it's way to doom.
I am trusting in God's plan, no matter what happens but with family health issues, grandkids to worry about, etc. this can be overwhelmingly frightful at times. Lord have Mercy

 

Currently the US, the most powerful nation on earth, is throwing off the shackles of corruption. To me, it is clear that God has been working heavily there. The US is on track to be greater than it has ever been. This will influence everything in the world, especially in Canada as it borders the US. The only way the current regime would survive in Canada would be if the Democrats had won in 2024. As long as the US keeps on its current path, it is certain that Canada has a brighter future ahead. Especially with X being a beacon of free speech, the Canadian propaganda machine won't be able to compete. As well, the US won't tolerate Canada operating in its current form. There are campaigns happening behind the scenes influencing Canadians, Canadian business and Canadian politics.

 

We were hoping that Pierre Poilievre would latch on to Trump's win but he did the opposite - attacked the tariffs instead of negotiating like Danielle Smith, soft on immigration and the culture of death.. at least Maxime Bernier would open the abortion debate and give us some law. He is more patriotic than the others and the only politician to stand with the trucker convoy.. I see he's been getting more publicity online lately.

 

It was like someone gave him a sudden punch in the gut; now he appears to be unhappily towing a line.......I agree with you on Bernier, at this point anyway. There are long days ahead to April 28th~

 

All of the premiers didn't go down and kiss the ring of Trump for no reason. As well, the US intelligence services likely have perfect knowledge of everything transpiring in Canada. Also, the current tariff war only happens because the US has the upper hand. Trump's favorite tactic is to give people enough rope to hang themselves. Canada cannot maintain a trade war in its current context, so all of the huff and puff from the Canadian politicians wont last.

Also, the trucker protests weren't entirely organic. For example, when I looked at other angles of the people who were "trampled" by the RCMP riding on horses, it was clear some fell down on purpose and photos were taken at an angle to make the RCMP look horrible. The organizing of things like this was possibly happening outside of Canada. I also saw videos demonstrating/informing how protesters could get past barricades to participate in protests that were very well done.

Then you have influential businessmen, like Kevin O'Leary, who suddenly appear on mainstream media explaining how Canada needs to align with the US. These sorts of interviews are planned in advance. Not necessarily by intelligence (but possibly), but also by interest groups with a lot of financial backing. That same financial backing can be used to influence elections both directly and indirectly, while appearing organic.

Then there is the fact that Trump desires for everything north of the US in north America to be under US control. The US won't be throwing Canada to the winds in any election. What the game plan of Trump is exactly I cannot say, but you can count on one being there.

So while Pierre Poilievre might be a dud and Marc Carney appears to be Trudeau 2.0, I expect the next election to have a lot of amazing twists. However not just elections at the federal level, but also at the provincial and municipal levels too. Not to mention how everything will be influenced by what happens in the US itself.

The Canadian propaganda machine will not want to give breathing room to any politician who wants to increase ties with the US, however given that X is the giant it is, the Canadian propaganda machine will likely not make a difference. Should a politician come along or change their position to one of being pro US, along with promises of lower taxes and more investment, less immigration and so on, they might take the advantage.
