Much as one might loathe Erdogan, he represents a balance and restrainer against Israel. His relationship with Russia is ambiguous. I would be surprised if he gets into direct conflict with Russia...but one never knows. There are old Orthodox prophecies about Russia taking Constantinople accompanied by a conversion of the Turks.

Islam forbids all sorts depending on the perspective of the person reading their holy book. The divide and conquer policy of Israel and the Western powers has been very successful to date, but it won't be successful forever. The blanket cover given to Israel for all its atrocities will eventually be the undoing of the Zionists, and possibly all the countries aiding and abetting those atrocities. The Israelis have given the Arabs plenty of reason for hating them.

Erdogan is not an Arab. The Arabs, with all sorts of self-determination promises from the British, rebelled against Ottoman rule so he will have no loyalty to them. If the price is right for Erdogan, he will find reasons to justify whatever side he takes. Most likely, he will do ongoing assessments and eventually settle on whichever side looks like coming out on top.

The Turkish economy is vulnerable to collapse.. Erdogan has been supplying drones to the Ukrainians. The US has a base in Eastern Turkey. There may still be US nukes in Turkey. Turkey, through its jihadi proxies, now has more leverage over Russia and its port in Syria. Putin can't afford to cross Erdogan but the new Russian hypersonic missile which could reach Istanbul in minutes will give Erdogan pause for thought.

It's more than likely that the US/Israel has Epstein type files on everyone at the top of the Brotherhood as well as plenty of agents embedded throughout the organisation.

Why would the Brotherhood care if Israel has Epstein type files on some of them? They are like cockroaches. Islam is Islam doesn’t matter if you are Arab or not. Gaza atrocities has them uniting.

The first direct conflict between NATO and Russia after the war in Afghanistan in 80's, was when in 2015 Turkey shot down a Russian military plane on the border between Turkey and Syria. Since Turkey is a NATO member, this was the first time a NATO member directly attacked Russia. Erdogan was angry because the Russians were bombing his allies Al qaida( Al Nusra), who had now taken over Syria, and interestingly, at the same time, he was dividing Syria along with the U.S.

In the same year, 2015, large migrations from the Middle East were triggered, as millions of refugees had been in camps in Turkey since 2011. Suddenly, without any particular reason, they were pushed into Europe, with Europe even paying for their transport and at the same time to Turkey to stop them, even though Erdogan, sent them into Europe. The EU held "emergency meetings" that took up to two weeks to arrange, and in the middle of all this, a strike by Greek ferries occurred, preventing migrants from crossing the sea... A simple ferry strike halted these migrations, which were deemed "impossible" to stop by the media and Western politicians, showing how everything was organized to create a Balkanized Europe.

    https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/memo_15_5860

Meanwhile, the U.S. was strengthening the Kurds in Syria and Turkey, and at the same time, a coup attempt against Erdogan was being set up in 2016, with Russian intelligence intercepting the messages and informing Erdogan, thus saving him. Had that coup been successful, Turkey, with its 80 million people, would have fallen into civil war, and chaos would have ensued, with tens of millions of migrants heading to the EU. Also, if the Russians had not intervened in Syria a year earlier and Aleppo had fallen, there would have been chaos, which shows how the Obama administration worked on creating chaos and destabilizing Europe. Of course, the Russians did not save Erdogan by accident. As ISIS grew with the support of its sponsors(US and Israel) and with many Muslims from Chechnya to the former Soviet republics around Russia, it was not in Russia's interest to let them spread. That is why they intervened in Syria to deal with ISIS and helped Turkey because they needed stability on their southern borders.

Better Erdogan than having a "Turkey" that turned into Syria. Nobody wants a mess at their border, except EU...

Much better articulated than my own brief statement. I think Turkey is a very unpredictable member of NATO and has no interest, in both senses of the word, in defending a Europe to which she has always been hostile.

Israel will have Epstein like files on most of their leaders as well as agents planted in every level. That's how the organisation is controlled. No doubt money is also a factor. They're human beings created in the image and likeness of God. "Like cockroaches" sounds rather similar to "breeding like rabbits". Yes, Islam is anti-Christian. So is Zionism. It's probably a toss-up as to which is worse. Maybe the biggest problem is Western Christians who act like God holds a passport identical to their own.

Any credit due to Trump for his humanitarian appeal on behalf of the Ukrainian soldiers was cancelled out by his ordering the bombing of Yemen's capital city. Yemenis are just as human as Ukrainians. The Israelis are denying essential humanitarian aid to Gaza. Cutting electricity supplies means rendering desalination machinery inoperable, leaving the people with no drinking water. How can any human being, especially any Christian, support that?

    Spot on as usual.

Orangina, have you ever heard of Alex Krainer? I see him appear on lots of youtube channels and I'm not sure what to make of him. A lot of what he says makes sense but then he throws in something that strikes me as not being quite right. I think that he may be from Croatia and wondered whether you know anything about him and, if so, what's your opinion of him. Does he fall into the ok category or avoid like the plague?

What I meant when I compared Islamic radicals like the Muslim Brotherhood to cockroaches is that when you turn the lights on they scatter and hide and there’s no way of finding them. One has to constantly fumigate to contain them from entering the home.

There is no way to support what Israel is doing to the Muslim commoner or Christian in Gaza. But the Muslim Brotherhood is most definitely a terrorist organization. And it’s a group that Erdogan has supported. So, I wouldn’t trust Erdogan. His friendliness now towards Egypt and Saudi Arabia is opportunistic. It’s good for business, until it’s not.

The more I study it, there is little doubt in my mind that Talmudic Judaism (is there any such thing as Torah Judaism, nowadays?) is the most antiChristian sect in the world and always has been. Whatever happened to the Jewish religion starting with its exile in Babylon, it has accreted an enormous amount of extraneous literature which seems devoted to inverting the Law of Moses. I think that the Zionists are primarily behind the rise in recent decades of Islamic extremism. Even the attack on the Twin Towers has left a huge number of imponderables.

The Turks are rightly blamed for the Armenian Holocaust, but according to E. Michael Jones, there was considerable Jewish involvement in this monstrous atrocity. Even the Jews couldn't hide their involvement in the Bolshevic massacres of Christians in Russia, Hungary and Bavaria (the latter certainly coming back to bite them). They have cynically, with chutzpah, exploited the terrible Holocaust inflicted upon themselves in order to effectively take control of the politics and foreign affairs of the United States and Europe. A cynicism reflected in the alliance of the Jewish faction in the Ukraine with the descendants of the Galician slaughterers of their forebears in order to foment a war in which Christians on both sides die in their tens of thousands.

It is not surprising that Our Lord described them as "the Synagogue of Satan" (Revelation 3:9).

To supplement my post above, according to ZeroHedge, Rahm Emanuel is throwing his hat in the ring for a run for the presidency in 2028. He has good credentials for a type of 'antichrist'. He is, unsurprisingly, Jewish. His name is "Emanuel". His father was born in Jerusalem. He had an uncle allegedly murdered by Arabs. He has a brother Ezekiel. He is running, cleverly, on a relatively unprogressive platform, distancing himself from the trans agenda (which he probably had a role, under Obama, in implementing). He will undoubtedly attract support from heretic Judeo-Christians. Fasten your seatbelts.

I have to admit that this is the first time I've heard of him. As far as I can see, he went abroad to study at the age of 17, worked in finance at a very high level, later returned during the war to defend Croatia and after that went abroad and has been living in Monaco for about 30 years. I like what I see and it seems to me that he understands the subject matter well. I see that almost 99% of his videos are in English, I'm currently listening to one in Croatian from a few months ago when he was a guest on a podcast and that's because they noticed that he's quite popular abroad.

However, I only watched about 15 minutes and that was a fairly limited topic, so I can't say much. What parts of him are suspicious to you that I can pay attention to?

We don't know the half of what goes on. Perhaps Erdogan could best be described as a kind of Frankenstein's monster. Here's the Wiki page of a man named Fethullah Gulen: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fethullah_Gülen
It's quite favourable to Gulen but I don't see mention there of the oft-quoted aim attributed to Gulen for his Hizmet movement: that its members would move through the arteries of the system unnoticed until they reach all power centres and wait until they have all State power.

Gulen and his movement is credited with/blamed for the rise of Erdogan until they had a split in 2011. A search for Erdogan related scandals will produce plenty of material beginning around 2011, mostly naming his sons. You'll find all sorts, mostly suggesting bribery and corruption using leaked transcripts of intercepted 'phone calls. There's enough dirt to plant a forest but not much in the way of convictions. They couldn't get him through the Turkish courts because he had replaced the Gulenists there so they tried in other countries. There's one report about a case against one of his sons in Italy around the time of the attempted coup in Turkey. Here's a report of an attempt in Sweden from 2023: https://www.reuters.com/world/us-sw...plaint-naming-son-turkeys-erdogan-2023-06-26/

Gulen's movement spread to many countries but Gulen died last year in the Hizmet compound in Pennsylvania, USA.

Erdogan may be the monster but who is Frankenstein? All roads lead to????? (Hint: it's not Rome). Read down that wikipedia page about Gulen and you'll see that when he tried to get a green card in the US in 2002 his application was opposed by the FBI, the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security. He was granted a green card presumably because he had endorsements from former officials of the CIA and this man who was the former Ambassador to Turkey: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morton_I._Abramowitz

Finally, here's a link to a very pro-US and anti-Erdogan website called Nordic Monitor: https://nordicmonitor.com/2025/03/u...ing-asset-of-turkeys-intelligence-agency-mit/
Nordic Monitor is an intelligence "non-profit" based in Sweden. Its Executive Director is Abdullah Bozkurt: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdullah_Bozkurt
If you're looking for links between Erdogan and Islamic extremism, Nordic Monitor seems to be a mine of information but sometimes what is omitted from articles can be as important as what's included.

There are no good guys in any of these conflicts.

I can't put my finger on what causes me to have reservations about him. I agree with Steve about his analyses. He gives what strikes me as sensible, down to earth advice on how to survive in a SHTF scenario.

Maybe it's just that I'm getting a bit tired of the over the top praise being heaped on all things Russian, especially the Orthodox Church. Sometimes it stinks of propaganda and often comes with hints against Catholicism. The poor Poles tend to get a bashing and I think they really mean Catholic Poland. I have huge respect for the Poles although, like the rest of Europe, their current leadership leaves much to be desired. I get the impression that the Russian propaganda machine is pitching its message to Trump's Evangelical/Protestant base which is not Catholic friendly. I see signs of that in the pair on the Duran (that Mercouris guy is treated like a guru and I don't like him). I also detect a hint of it in some of Judge Napolitano's guests. My gut instinct (which admittedly is often wrong) tells me that Krainer is in that camp.

I'm annoyed with Judge Napolitano for singing the praises of the Orthodox "Mass" he attended in Moscow. He's a Catholic and there's a Catholic church in Moscow. So what if they didn't have the TLM with all the bells and smells, Orthodox Divine Liturgy is only a permitted alternative when there's no Catholic option available. He should have gone to Mass. This Orthodox promotion stuff is irksome and downright phoney.

That should distract attention from the hundreds of Palestinians Israel is killing with American bombs. Frankly, any American who hasn't raised their voice against this ongoing slaughter should be hanging his/her head in shame. The American Bishops who haven't protested loudly bring shame on all Catholics. Well, their turn will come soon enough. Today Muslims are being deported from the US to please those who would ban passages of the New Testament. Tomorrow it will be Catholic priests from abroad and any protests will be met with "The Secretary of State who presided over Muslim deportations was Catholic so the deportations aren't discriminatory".
