Well, I guess the weather folk misjudged on where the snow band would settle. Here I was having a leisurely breakfast this morning looking out at the mounds of snow and went out to shovel the couple of inches we got overnight and realized we got another 8 inches. We paid someone who came this morning with a backhoe and was able to lift up the snow onto the top of our snowbanks, so now we have 8ft. snowbanks lining the driveway. Extended forecast is only 3 inches for the next 10 days. That would be sweet! Even the Amish up here are sick of the snow. This morning Cordial Geralyn offered a couple of Amish who were waiting for a buggy ride to town, knowing they would say no to an Englisher, but they actually accepted! Harsh winters take their toll and change the habits of some! God be praised for a little relief!
I would give a shovel and pay for the trip to the indoctrinated students and activists who are lying on the road because of climate change and global warming...To feel first hand that everything is not as the MSM media and liberal teachers tell them. I believe that after a few shovelfuls of hard cleaning, their minds would work to a normal level. Otherwise, always warm up well before clearing snow. I remember a lecture on cardiology in college where the cardiologist told us that most heart attacks occur when people wake up in the morning and, if it has snowed, immediately start shoveling without giving their bodies time to adapt. It's physically demanding work. A couple of years ago, when I was around 20, I didn’t feel well while shoveling the driveway. For half an hour, I had the impression that I was going to collapse. Clearing snow is extremely physically demanding no matter how old are you and in many cases it is fatal...
It's the complete opposite to the extreme heat we're having in Australia. There were a couple of butterflies this morning thinking it was spring, even new growth on the trees, shrubs, etc. When in fact it should be cooling down for autumn .. and not cooling from extreme summer, to spring conditions.

In other words, it can hardly be better than this. But what he does on American soil is really fascinating. Literally in two weeks, documents could come out from the murder of JFK and his brother, to the Epstein list, the border is being guarded, the war in Mexico is starting with the cartels who are labeled as terrorists, the first talks with the Russians after 3 years, he humiliated the left-liberal perverts and autocrats from the EU, criminals are deported, the reduction of bureaucracy, taxes, the appointment of Patel, Musk, Keenedy and there is research into vaccines, medicines, lowering the prices of treatments for which people are thrown away to the streets due to high prices, he canceled the giving of "American aid" with which foreign democratic governments were overthrown, the media were bought and financed, opponents were persecuted and lgbt ideology was financed, etc. The list of decisions is too long, and he seems to be just accelerating. I hope my first impression is not false, but so far this is fantastic.

It's been too hot for our wildlife .. there was a bird limping with it's mouth open at the shops, like it was very hot & thirsty. So I poured out some of my water bottle for it to drink. It's a tragedy with all the beached whales in Tasmania too They say that animals are like the "canary in the mine" as a metaphor for warning signs. Much like animals heading towards higher ground, etc. Hopefully it'll start cooling down more for autumn soon, and praying the cyclones stay away from the east coast
