Well Israel is in trouble. They aren’t winning. Netanyahu is coming to ask for more money and help. Let’s see how Trump handles this.

It is true, he has the great advantage of never been boring. I don't think anything big we wish to do in life can ever be achieved without risk and a certain amount of discomfort. How else could it be? The bigger the changes the bigger the risks and discomfort. The alternative , which most of us fall into, is to just leave things pretty much as they are and just let things be. Most of us talk about change , loads and loads of change, but few of us ever really make radical changes, we just talk the talk.

Trump , on the other hand, not only talks that talk but walks the walk which is startling and refreshing. He is at least trying.

One thing I noticed with politics growing up is that nothing ever really changed no matter who was in charge. They talked a lot about change certainly. They never stopped talking about change, but nothing ever really happened. It did not really matter who was in charge. All political parties, it became more and more apparent, were basically the same. A Uniparty. They only talked different. They never did different.

Trump, on the other hand, actually does different which is well...amazing. Maybe he will crash and burn. Maybe he won't crash and burn. But at least he will have had a good try at it, he did more than just talk and for that my hat's off to him.

And a great crowd followed him and thronged about him. And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse. She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. For she said, ‘If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.’ And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease. And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, ‘Who touched my garments?’ And his disciples said to him, ‘You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, “Who touched me?” ’ And he looked round to see who had done it. But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him and told him the whole truth. And he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.’

This is fundamental for China, but it might only be a gesture, to retain some dignity before going into negotiations. The disparities between the two countries in terms of balance of trade imply that China has no hope of winning a trade war with the US-the reality is that they have been getting away with murder for years.

Trump seems to be declaring war on Globalism. In this, he is also taking on the iniquities of free trade capitalism, the most extreme and inhuman form of it. Free trade capitalism destroys families, communities and eventually whole nations. His opponents are not only the global elitists, who have become as rich as Croesus on the backs of their international wage-slaves, but also a China which, with its huge supply of cheap slave-labour, has opportunistically taken advantage of the free trade system. He is doing very well, but the most difficult task will be to make it irreversible.

When Canada talks about cutting off oil to America, let me break this down for you. Below is a map of the pipelines that carry energy for Canada. As you can see many come into America. The one you need to pay attention to is the Energy East line. This was supposed to be built, but Canada's leftists canceled it because of "climate issues." As you can see, the only way for the Western part of Canada to get oil to the Eastern part of Canada is to send it through America. Trump knows EXACTLY what he is doing.

It is my understanding that Trump made clear to Trueau that he had to fix the border with US and stop the flow of illegals and drugs. Trudeau did nothing.

Apparently, Trudeau wished to double-down and specifically target Red States with counter-tariffs. Young Fidel seems to have been over-ruled.

If you remember, the outgoing government, in the 1993 Canadian General Election, returned to Parliament with two seats. I hope we are in for a repeat.

Trump just smacked Trudeau. So much Trudeau is quitting. I’m just wondering what the Canadians are thinking about this? I don’t really see too many Canadian imports except for some maple syrup. And a lot of Canadians work here. Trump is shaking things up quickly before the complacent world knows how to react.

It has always been thought to be the tip of the spear gesture used by the military and others. In the "conspiracy" world it typically has shown what side you are own. Others in history make the gesture like JFK, Princess Dianna, Trump, Reagan, etc. When Trump created spaceforce in his first presidency, they used the spear as their symbol as well. If it is a diamond up, it is illuminati, the diamond down has been thought to be the opposite of that and to let them know that their days are numbered.

The comrade Xi has so far proven to be less pliable in the face of Trump compared to other global leaders.

I disagree. It’s just a hand gesture, relaxing the hand. I’ve not it without thinking it is some kind of signal. If I raise up that pose my hands are in a prayer mode. I see two forms of prayer hands in church, folded fingers and pointed fingers. I have thoughts about that, too.
Some poses are purposeful and some are just fiddling. I had to learn posing and gestures in my 50 years owning a portrait studio. Just tossing that out there.

I wasn't posting as to what I agree or disagree about the gesture, just answering what some say it is. To me it seems more of a relaxed posturing too, but I have also seen it done where it almost looks deliberate as well. Only God knows what one's intentions truly are.

This whole thing has an air of "bizarro world" to it. There are reports that border legislation for Canada was already set in December, so was what was being demanded already in place? idk.
But given PMJT announced he would resign, then prorogued parliament (basically shuttering the government) until a new Liberal Party leader (& PM) is chosen, it's difficult not to wonder how anything could be negotiated at all. It's akin to, say, a pope resigning, and then during the conclave issuing all kinds of encyclicals. It just doesn't sit well, imho...

A horribly, arrogant rewording of the Eucharistic prayer and especially the words of Consecration. Sorry folks, invalid to the nth degree. Was this actually done during Holy Mass while being filmed? And a deacon apparently going along with it!:cry::cry:

The shortage of priests in my Diocese is noticeable. When my Pastor goes on vacation, we have to draw upon retired priests, and the last priest to sub for him was 92 years old. His mind isn't as sharp as it once was and I listened closely to ensure the Words of Consecration were correct, because every once in a while his wording in other parts was imprecise. He has never made such a mistake when I've been there; but, how could the Deacon at "this Mass" allow such a sacrilege to take place at the Consecration and go along with it!? Incredible!:eek::eek: I pray that in any like event in life, for the sake of those present, I will speak up. I know bowing is the minimal gesture after the consecration of the Sacred Species, but please God I will never bow, genuflect, or kneel to what is mere bread!

So sad. Those present were being lied to, deceived, and deprived!:(

    Lord have Mercy!

Would God not complete the Consecration in the case of a well-intentioned priest with memory problems, who might make a mistake through no fault of his own and in the event of nobody being present to correct him? This is going to be a growing problem
