Surviving without the Mark - An NDE Story

Yes, and just like in Genesis, "the mark" is something consented to. Satan tricked Eve and Adam into eating the Forbidden Fruit. The "mark of the Beast" is similar. It is something that some Catholics will willingly eat that has been forbidden by the Church from the beginning.

Satan is a trickster. And the greatest spiritual trick of all is to say that one can receive the Eucharist in a state of mortal sin and not die spiritually. St. Paul made the opposite clear: that receiving the Eucharist unworthily, will bring death, rather than eternal life, upon the person who does that. See 1 Corinthians 11:

26 For as often as you shall eat this bread, and drink the chalice, you shall shew the death of the Lord, until he come. 27 Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.

But Satan, through his mouthpiece Bergoglio, tells Catholics in Desiderio desideravi the following:

The Liturgy has nothing to do with an ascetical moralism. It is the gift of the Paschal Mystery of the Lord which, received with docility, makes our life new. The cenacle is not entered except through the power of attraction of his desire to eat the Passover with us: Desiderio desideravi hoc Pascha manducare vobiscum, antequam patiar (Lk 22:15).

Bergoglio (Satan) is telling Catholics (Eve) not to worry about all that "moralism" that the "neo-Pelagians" try push on people. After all, we are all sinners. One is not more worthy than another. No, Bergoglio says, God "earnestly desires" that all partake of the Eucharist, regardless of any sins they may be guilty of. We just need to recite the Confiteor at the beginning of Mass, and that is enough, since "we are not worthy" anyway. In saying this, Bergoglio is contradicting St. Paul and 2000 years of Catholic teaching with the implication that mortal sin should not be handled differently, in the Confessional.

This should not surprise anyone. Bergoglio had already made his novel teaching clear many years before by admitting to the Eucharist divorced and remarried Catholics (without annulment). So, please don't say that I am misinterpreting Bergoglio's intent. He has made his intent perfectly clear, and even Cardinals and Bishops have acknowledged that he contradicts Catholic teaching.

So, "the mark of the Beast" is something you receive "with your right hand" (the Body) and "between the eyes" (the Chalice) in the Novus Ordo liturgy. The receiver happily consents to taking this "mark." And it has the "character of the Beast" specifically because those receiving in a state of mortal sin are "guilty of the body and blood of the Lord" and "eat and drink judgment" upon themselves.

And just like Adam and Eve, those consenting to receive "the mark" will be excluded from Paradise, called the New Heaven and New Earth in the Apocalypse. So to avoid the consequences of "the mark," one must never receive the Eucharist in a state of mortal sin. Bergoglio has and will continue to try to persuade as many people as he can to take his "anti-sacrament." Warn them not to fall for his deception.

So, in addition to cracking under pressure when I answered a question about what Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit was, and thus committing the unforgivable verbally. I too am guilty of years ago taking sacraments unworthily, via in the hand and also a few times at least 18 years ago in a state of grave sin.. From the sounds of it, even though I keep begging for forgiveness, I am already doomed to Hell.:cry::cry:

I'm miserably upset over what I've done and I regret it with every fiber of my being, but I guess then it is too late.

You are not doomed to hell. No loving parent rejects a repentant child. Our Father in Heaven is infinitely more loving and merciful than any human parent. Go to Confession, confess your sins with at least imperfect contrition (fear of the loss of Heaven and pain of Hell) have a firm purpose of amending sinful ways, receive absolution from the priest, do your penance and get on with living life as best you can. We have the Sacraments as the best channel of God's grace to help us overcome temptation. Doubt in the efficacy of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is temptation to the sin of despair.

Receiving Holy Communion in the hand is not sinful because the Church permits it. For all we know, some of the apparently most pious people on the planet could be the worst sinners. It's what's in a person's heart that matters. Pope Francis is not a false Pope and most certainly not Satan. Ignore anyone who causes you to suspect that Jesus has forsaken the Church.

Great point, Whatever! I would suspect that any NDE people have, may be colored by their own preconceived suppositions? I'm unsure, but your observation caught my attention, too. I believe maintaining a regular prayer life will be a great aid in deciphering such experiences. Lord have Mercy.

As long as you are on the earthly pilgrimage, it is never "too late" to repent. Just receive the Sacrament of Penance with a true contrition, a firm purpose of amendment and do the penance assigned. Stop saying you are "doomed to Hell." That is not true.

And it would best to talk to a priest about all of your concerns.

The voice on the video sounded like it was computer generated. For all we know, the whole story could be computer generated. I didn't listen to the very end but gave up when "Jesus" told her to test everything against the Bible. Right now we have Jewish atheists using the Old Testament to justify ethnic cleansing and genocide, and Christians (including Catholics) using the New Testament to justify it and support it with money and arms. https://www.pillarcatholic.com/p/did-joe-biden-join-the-freemasons

Better to concentrate on today's temptations because we know not the day nor the hour.

Andy3, in your quote above, you mention your struggle to believe that someone can be "tricked into rejecting God."

In St. John's Apocalypse, "the mark of the Beast" is definitely suggested to people through a "deception," a "seduction." Here is a quote from Apocalypse, chapter 13 (Douay-Rheims Bible):

11 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns, like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. 12 And he executed all the power of the former beast in his sight; and he caused the earth, and them that dwell therein, to adore the first beast, whose wound to death was healed. 13 And he did great signs, so that he made also fire to come down from heaven unto the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he seduced them that dwell on the earth, for the signs, which were given him to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make the image of the beast, which had the wound by the sword, and lived. 15 And it was given him to give life to the image of the beast, and that the image of the beast should speak; and should cause, that whosoever will not adore the image of the beast, should be slain. 16 And he shall make all, both little and great, rich and poor, freemen and bondmen, to have a character in their right hand, or on their foreheads. 17 And that no man might buy or sell, but he that hath the character, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. He that hath understanding, let him count the number of the beast. For it is the number of a man: and the number of him is six hundred sixty-six.

[11] "Another beast": This second beast with two horns, may be understood of the heathenish priests and magicians; the principal promoters both of idolatry and persecution.

A few points to take away from that quote:

    1. The second beast, the "Beast from the earth," is also called "the false prophet." The false prophet is the main deceiver in the context of the "mark of the Beast." The false prophet is not forcing anyone to do anything. He is enticing them, seducing them, deceiving them to do those things. And his goal in his deceptions is to cause people to freely choose to take "the mark of the Beast."

    2. Note that the translators of the Douay-Rheims bible say that this second beast is not to be understood as a single individual. Rather, he symbolizes "the heathenish priests" who are the "principal promoters of idolatry and persecution." With the image of the "two horns," St. John describes the bishop's mitre. Compare this "second beast" with Jesus's own words in Matthew 24:24: "For there shall arise false Christs [PLURAL] and false prophets [PLURAL], and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect." St. John and Jesus are talking about the same phenomenon. There is not only one False Prophet pushing the deception. There are many false prophets pushing that final deception. And those false prophets are primarily Bishops and the other priests who work with them.

    3. The false prophets, who are falsely representing themselves as Bishops and priests of the Christian Church, are the people who push this deception of "the mark of the Beast." This "mark," then, is "religious deception," not a political or healthcare or technological deception. To prove this, read these words from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (and read the footnotes):

675 Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers.573 The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth574 will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.575

    573 Cf. Lk 18:8; Mt 24:12.
    574 Cf. Lk 21:12; Jn 15:19-20.
    575 Cf. 2 Th 2:4-12; I Th 5:2-3; 2 Jn 7; I Jn 2:1 8, 22.

So, the Antichrist and his "mark of the Beast" is promoted by his "false prophets" who are deceptive bishops and priests inside "the Church" who are teaching "the elect" [Catholics] false doctrine. The substance of the "mark of the Beast" deception is that "man glorifies himself in the place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh."

Please meditate on that last sentence. What are Catholics supposed to do in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass? Are we not supposed to glorify God and his Messiah come in the flesh [the Eucharist]?" In the "supreme religious deception" of the Antichrist, a deception also known as the "mark of the Beast," instead of man glorifying God, "man glorifies himself." This is idolatry, specifically self-idolatry. It is the worst sin imaginable. It is a sin against the First Commandment. And this is what Satan, the Antichrist, and his false prophets are trying to cause. They want souls to go to Hell. And the only way they will go to Hell is by dying in a state of mortal sin, which they must freely choose. To get Catholics to freely choose this, they must be deceived. This is what the end times prophecies are all about.

The Antichrist is not a political figure like Hitler or Stalin. He is not a techno-genius like Elon Musk. He is not a leader of a country in the Middle East falsely named Israel. No, the Antichrist is the illegitimate head of the Roman Catholic Church, a kind of miscarriage, as St. Hildegard describes in her book Scivias. He is an antipope, a vicar of Satan rather than the Vicar of Christ. He lives in Rome, where Our Lady of LaSalette says the "Seat of the Antichrist" will be. He is the agent of Satan's final deception, and this final deception concerns the eternal souls of men, not their bodily, social, political well-being. Remember Jesus's words quoted in Matthew 10:28:

28 And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell.

The Vatican document does not get into the myriad of ways that the hands can be used in high tech. They are pretty advanced on the Internet of Bodies which means a mark in the hand will probably not be necessary at some point. And is scanning finger prints part of the hand business? Most people use that feature to access their smart gadgets. And what about the QR code to get past the Holy Doors in Rome? You probably have to hold your smart gadget in your hand and scan it to get through...

The Church and its members are participating in the problem and don't seem to be aware of it.

Let me say it a different way. Yes, you can be tricked into taking the mark, but what if you realize after the fact you are tricked and then you repent. I guess I don't know if once you take the mark one is damned forever or can you realize you were tricked and repent of it. This person suggested that once you take it, you are damned and nothing you can do can counter that decision. That is not biblical to me. There is only one unpardonable sin that we know of.

I believe that the imposition of the mark will occur simultaneously with the worship of the image of the Beast, in the sense of denying the dogma of the Incarnation. When someone worships an image that the false prophet claims to be the return of Christ, they are, in effect, denying the Incarnation. Saint John tells us that an evil spirit is incapable of confessing that Jesus came in the flesh. The way the false prophet accomplishes this deception—misleading even God's elect—is by creating a post-Incarnation context in people's minds. The apostle Luke assures us that Christ will return in the same way He ascended to heaven: in a glorious body of flesh, which is the hope of the resurrection.

  17. Luan Ribeiro

    Luan Ribeiro Powers

When the Book of Revelation says that the second beast exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, this strongly resembles Moses in the Exodus exercising God's authority before the people of Israel. Many people believe that the transfer of power from the beast to the false prophet means that he is the vice-regent of the global government, but that doesn’t make sense to me. After all, the law dictates that a vice-regent assumes power only in the event of the president’s death, resignation, or absence. Imagine J.D Vance assuming power only when Trump is present. Moreover, the false prophet performs his supernatural wonders only in the presence of the beast, which is not exactly a physical presence.

Some ancient paintings depicted Moses with two horns due to a translation error in the Vulgate. I believe this is why the second beast is described as being like a lamb. While Moses exercised God's authority, the false prophet will exercise the authority of Baal, who will return from the abyss after his worship was struck down by the sword of the prophet Elijah.

  18. Bl. Ann Emerich speaks of the new Church, devoid of any sign of Jesus. There will be no consecration.. it seems we will be glorifying humans..
What will they be giving out instead of our Lord that Bl. EMmerich said not to accept?
    What will replace God's flesh?

Perhaps, with the changes in the words of consecration, the followers of the Beast will place ordinary bread in the liturgy, emphasizing sharing with the poor rather than pointing to the glorious flesh of Christ and His sacrifice renewed on the altars. I believe that any Eucharistic miracle will provoke the fury of the False Prophet, reminding the world that Christ is alive in the tabernacles, not in an image.

Even with numerous Eucharistic miracles throughout history, many people refuse to fully embrace the Eucharist as a mystery of faith. The sense of sight is more immediate than the voice of the heart, which is the Holy Spirit and the Dogma of Faith. Many of these people will be impressed by the idol of the speaking image, rejecting the virtue of believing without seeing—the same teaching Our Lord gave us after His Glorious Resurrection.
