We are being surrounded by demons, it’s really coming out now. Our youngest son has been living with a woman who declares she is a shaman and so is her sister. He’s been with her for 11 years. His mental state has been deteriorating the last several years, and within the last year he has been hospitalized twice for mental illness. The first time he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. This last time as bipolar1 with psychosis. He has had delusions, paranoia, and hallucinations. This Oct before he was taken to the detox he was fixated on guns and Robin Williams. My husband and I live 500 miles from him and are getting too old to deal with this. But we made the trip up there to make sure he was taking his meds. I was never around anything like this before. His gf moved out last spring but still has ‘date nights’ with him. I got on a FB group of caregivers with loved ones who have schizophrenia so I could learn more about it. One commenter said she would pray for one of the Moms and the mediator of the group said we cannot offer prayers for anyone, only good wishes. So another Mom piped up and said “good because I am a witch and born into paganism”. It creeped me out. And another woman popped in and said, “wow, me too. Since 1983, merry merry “. Well it is what’s going on in our world, sadly. It’s blatantly everywhere. When we went up to see our son I took a bottle of holy water, a rosary, and little statue of Mary from Medjugorje. He didn’t object. His house is so creepy, filled with animal skulls and statues of bhuddas and Hindu stuff. So, the best we can do is pray for him and have Masses said in church. If anyone feels like praying for him his name is David. We are being so spiritually attacked.
I have no words Katfalls. What would I do in your situation? I guess I would go into depracatory prayer begging the Father to accept an offering of the Precious Blood-- every drop from Gethsemane to the piercing of the Sacred Heart for his deliverance. Naming the conditions you see--depression and schizophrenia and every other behavior or condition and begging the Father in Jesus's Name to deliver him from each one and from the hidden things you dont know to and send the Holy Spirit to bind up his wounds. This seems very little in the face of your distress but I believe it is very powerful.
My heart breaks for you. I am so sorry. I just had a call with a family member who’s living with someone and is coming home for Christmas. What division it causes on sleeping arrangements. Our woke children are blaming their parents for their suffering and feeling we don’t love and accept them because we won’t compromise. Wicca is everywhere in this generation and breeds mental illness.
I include all the intentions of the members of the forum in my rosary. All you can do is unite your sufferings with our Lord in the Garden of Gethsemane. Nothing is impossible to God. We will only see the fruit of our prayers and sufferings in the next life. God is a generous God.

Your family will be in our Rosaries as well. Oh my... Let us trust in our Good Lord. I am only a layman so I cannot give advice. I heard sometimes mental illness could be a misdiagnosis for what is really a spiritual attack, obsession or possession. Only an exorcist could find out for sure.
Yes I remember Sparrow. I have used this prayer when I have been cautious about direct attack. So I ask the Father for the sake of the Precious Blood to drive out the demons tormenting my child. I name the ones I see and ask Him to also drive out the ones I don't see. And then to seal the soul of my child with the Holy Spirit. I ask everything through Mary's Immaculate Heart. I'll offer my Sunday mass and all the prayers I say today for you Katfalls. This trial kind of puts into perspective all the silly disagreements and fallouts we forum members have between us. There is a common enemy out there and he hates us all - and attacks our loved ones without mercy.
I am headed for Church now. I will be praying for all our sons and daughters. And so you and others should be aware that there are studies on marijuana that say it causes psychosis, and at times schizophrenia. They are lacing marijuana today with all sorts of chemicals that cause this. May Our Lady help us all.
