This Bishop did not live the faith. The point I took from Robert's first talk was that, spiritually speaking, this man would have been a fraud as he was not living the faith, not even trying. imho, whether privately or publicly is irrelevant ~ he was a false shepherd. And those close to him would have known, but what could they have done about it on their own? Assuming they wanted to do something. Not very much......imho, we are now seeing the horrid fruits of the "incrementalism" mentioned above by Mario. But really, it didn't start out with EMHC's . These things are now public, out in the open and that's the only difference between Padre Pio's time and this time we are in. Stay right with the Lord as best you can, and stand strong in your great gift of Faith. That is the best you can do for yourself and your loved ones. No one is obliged to be obedient to sin. But we are obliged to be obedient, to love our enemies, and to pray for those who persecute us ~ even those of our own house.....

I read a comment from a lady who has known the Father for quite some time and has talked to him on several occasions , she said he always referred to ,Jorje Bergolio, , never ever as , Pope Francis.

I think he has already posted a utube video in which he says we must obey God rather than his Bishop. I am afraid the poor man has gone into Schism. May God have mercy on his poor, poor soul.

I am not so concerned about this as the number of Catholics going down the same road.

Very, very sad. Though I have to say I mostly blame Papa Frankie, he would make a gold fish angry . He is the most infuriating individual I have ever heard of.

It appears that extending the Synod gives the appearance of ongoing discernment when it comes to the issue of female clergy.

Thank you, Memorare, for locating the Youtube clip.:)

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

You know all this happened before in the Great Western Schism when the Cardinals declared
Pope Urban Vii as an anti Pope when they themselves elected him.

Urban, like Papa Frankie was bad tempered and a nasty piece of work and drove the Cardinals crazy so they decided to dump him. St Catherine of Siena trIed to persuade Urban to behave half way decently but without success . Some saints supported one Pope some another. Europe was split in two.

I blame all this schismatic rerun on Papa Frankie he is as nasty a piece of work as Pope Urban. In fact Papa Frankie seems to beat even Urban on the nasty stakes and Urban was very, very nasty. But Urban was not an active heretic as Papa Frankie is.

I am sure even the angels in heaven are starting to get confused.

We are in a very bad way.a

A video on the archbishop's actions toward Mission of Divine Mercy. This is from the website Reason & Theology, run by Michael Lofton.

According to his website, Michael is a graduate of Christendom College Graduate School of Theology where he received his Master of Arts in Theological Studies. He has appeared on EWTN, SiriusXM Radio, Radio Maria and has contributed frequently to several websites and blogs. He is an Associate Editor at Christendom Graduate School and is the founder of Ancient Faith Apparel and Renewal Publications.

Lofton examines the Protestant nature of Fr. Foster's declarations. He mentions Martin Luther. He discusses MDM's heretical interpretation of the Trinity, and its promotion of Sedevacantism.

His humility impresses me. He submits his dubia and lets the Pope's response speak for itself. Cardinal Zen is more outspoken, but it is obvious that whatever agreement was reached with China through the diplomacy of Cardinal McCarrick, it hasn't borne good fruit. Cardinal Zen thus grieves for his flock!(y)

I am no fan of Michael Loften, he has defended every wicked thing Papa Frankie ever did. If Papa Frankie were to attend a Witches Sabbath riding a broomstick Michael Loften would defend him.

Plus he has a terrible uncontrollable bad temper.

I think on the above clip, Lofton summarizes the situation well. Obedience to one's superior is essential unless such "obedience involves committing sin". I do, however, ignore his stances on most other issues.

    Safe under Mary's Mantle!

I think Michael Lofton is waxes lyrical but is a master at 'gaslighting'. When a same-sex couple turn up holding hands and the priest blesses "the couple", what is he blessing? I'm sure Michael in his eruditeness will have an answer. But his yes will not be yes and his no will not be no.

I am shocked. Robert is now saying that Pope Francis is 'a usurper sitting on the throne of Peter'. Does that mean he is sedevacantist?

How very sad. (And what a quick shift in Robert Nugent's stance, virtually overnight.) He has just posted a video on Fr. Gobbi's prophecy of the idol of a false Christ and a false church! It means he thinks the throne of Peter is empty at the moment.

so, would this mean the very infamous Leon X pope, was a "less bad" pope than Francis because he (for example) made an encyclical about the rosary and didnt say anything heretic, but was personally\ privately bad? :coffee:

I have no words left. The only person who can fix this now is God Himself. Come Holy Spirit. O Mary, Keeper of the King's secrets, lead us on the path to salvation. Jesus be merciful to us! Eternal Father we adore You and we praise You. May our names be written in the Book of Life!

I think that over the centuries some bad popes have been reminiscent of the kings of Israel. David and Solomon may be a model of certain bad pontificates; in a sense: David committed adultery and murder, but did not worship false gods; and he even gave us as the fruit of his repentance the beautiful psalm 51, a symbol of a penitent heart; In the case of Solomon and Ahab, both allowed themselves to be carried away by idolatry under the influence of their wives.
