Even though I haven't studied the messages thoroughly...I deem these messages false. The visionary is unknown...just like MDM was initially....the messages don't flow....going from worldly events into supposedly deep theological insights. One way I measure a message...does it encourage the "rivers of grace" communion, confession, prayer etc...and if a locutionist gets too specific. Simply look at Fatima, Garabandal and even Medjugore. The messages are shorter and more generalized and are simple. Mary at these sites point to Jesus and conversion. In Locutions.org and MDM we see much more entanglement into secular affairs or prepositioned theological flair and she is a unknown seer. I may be proven wrong but something in my gut says "lookout".
As far as I remember the messages from St Catherine Laboure in the Rue Du Bac were anonymous right up until after St Catherines death. Perhaps I am wrong but the Divine Mercy Messages of St Faustina ,were they not anonymous as well? I am sure if I racked my brains I could come up with another few examples. So I would not rule them out for this. But true I am am uneasy about them. Some of the messages are very beautiful. Some far too , 'Newsy' for my taste. They are on my maybe. maybe not list. Tending towards not.... Oh well some of the prophecies are very specific we shall see.
I wish a bishop would provide some guidance on them. I guess the messages are still flying below the radar, relatively unknown.
I suppose on the one hand the messages are doing no harm and on the other contain no obvious theological irregularities. I suspect most Bishops want to have anything to do with messages or mystical phenomena as my dogs do with with getting washed. The best thing about these messages is that they have a kind of built in discernment. They contain specific prophecies which either will or will not come true. I like this about them. That they kind of put their money where their mouth is. The same could be said about both Garabandal and Medugorje. Time will tell for these too..and again both these have no obvious theological howlers. I think we all have to approach messages like these with a certain humility. God is full of surprises. Unless of course they really bomb , like the MDM I always say, give them enough rope and they'll either hang them selves or take flight.
Deuteronomy chapter 18: "Should you say to yourselves, 'How can we recognize that a word is one the LORD has not spoken?', if a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD but the word does not come true, it is a word the LORD did not speak. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not fear him." And if we really wanted to go old school: "But if a prophet presumes to speak a word in my namel that I have not commanded, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die."
I was thinking that there is another problem with contemporary, 'Messages' . The Church has led it down that the, 'Ordinary' of the Diocese (the Bishop) should rule on whether any mystical phenomena is true or false. THis worked fine in the days when say Joe Bloggs in a village up the mountains said he saw Our Blessed Lady in a local cave and she said such and such. However in the age of the Internet this local ruling breaks down. I think Rome should appoint a Cardinal Archbishop for the internet as a Prefecture for authority. Then messages could be referred to him. Also the timescale of judgement needs, if possible to be very greatly shortened from years to at least months. Also I pray and look forward to the time when the Holy Spirit should raise up many Catholic Orders and lay groups to bring the True Faith to the world through the net. I think this is were lay Catholics in particular could come into their own. The reason why I set up this forum for instance was that although I had a very rich and active prayer life (Contemplative0 I felt guilty when I read Christ's exhortations in the Gospel. Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, I than prayed to Our Lady and she told me to set this forum up, explaining to me she wished me to be very open and honest on it. I never expected it to fight false phenomena but almost by accident it has. Nevertheless as Phillip says it should be the Church Authorities really who should take the final ax to these great evils. As I say a Church Prefecture for IT would be perfect. ...and since Pope Francis was a Jesuit he would, I suppose be very open to such things ..as Jesuits tend to be.

SO POWERFUL! Yesterday was my birthday and I asked for a pedicure for my poor feet. I priced them today and no way--was I paying $45 and up for someone to soften my 'hooves'...lol So, my 13 yr. old daughter wanted to go to the fair with a friend so I paid her to give me a pedicure and got a manicure with it! I read these messages to her while she did it and when I was done, I read from the Divine Will book #7. We talked to. Poor me, I couldn't do dishes after that, so she volunteered to do them! What a sweetheart!
Sorry Daria...these messages add nothing to the deposit of faith the Church already expounds on...though these messages are tandelizing and its good to remember such things they are hardly new revelations or secrets this seer wants us to believe. Please wary.

Thanks Daria. It's true it is kind of scarey and whether or not these messages are true there is no doubt we are heading to world shaking events. I was talking to an American lady on SKPE last night and she told me of a prophecy concerning naval ships in conflict. I found this so interesting because a couple of years ago I had a dream of a very large American Naval vessel sinking in very calm level, beautiful waters. I knew it was American because the officer had a kind of peaked baseball hat with a lot of gold on it's peak and he was very,very surprised with the suddeness of what happened. I had forgotten this until the lady began to describe what she had seen. I don't want to name her but she is on the forum if she likes she can confirm this. I think one thing really consoles me about this and this is when events move closer I expect Our Lady to confirm this through major Marian sites and very well known prophets such as Mark Mallet. I always think of God as being perfectly good mannered and the same goes for Mary. So for instance the Second World War was signalled by the lights in the sky and by a series of apparitions in the Low Countries. I think because what is about to happen is so much bigger we will get even greater signs this time around..in fact we are already seeing this. I wonder sometimes if the apathy and lack of interest in the world's populations generally to these signs of the times are not themselves part of God's judgement? Also for instance the role of leaders in all this . It is like the blind leading the blind. The American President Obama for instance, I get the impression he has no idea at all what he is doing. I wonder if this is part of the judgement too? The French of course are all for war, very eager. But I wonder about them too. Putin opposes everything he reminds me of a child who keeps putting a stick in the spokes. They all seem like little lost children

I had forgotten about it until you mentioned it above. whoever the woman is who has received prophecy, can you reveal all that you have seen? maybe even have Padraig post it if you want to remain unknown. this stuff is fascinating! I hope for more signs...but it is amazing the signs it will take to wake up the general population. everyone on the street I live on is away for the labor day long weekend here...they have no idea the world is at a tipping point...as they are off playing and enjoying life. school will start next week and family weekends will be consumed with sports leagues. busy, busy, busy and oblivious to what is ahead. It's why I pray... most are not even paying attention to what world leaders are going. and yes, I dont believe obama knows what he is doing. I agree that there is something very baffling about the generalized apathy and inability to read the signs of the times that are surely staring us in the face (although this ought to come as no surprise if we read the Gospels ...). Reading the posts on this forum you might have the impression that everyone around us is fully aware of the momentous scale of the drama currently being played out, but of course this isn't the case. Even within Christianity it would seem that the majority of people are absolutely closed to the whole narrative of Divine warnings of approaching judgment running through the prophets and mystics of the last few centuries, even though the continuity of this narrative with the Scriptures ought to be glaringly obvious. So yes, I suppose you could say that the spiritual blindness of contemporary society is part of God's judgment. Remember His seemingly strange prophetic assignment to Isaiah: "Go and tell this people: 'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' Make the heart of this people calloused; make their eyes dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed." (Is. 6:9-10)
