That is, that all that is happening is down to humanitys collective rejection of God. As we push his protective hand away, the demonic floods in to fill the void: and what we have afoot today is what this rejection looks like. The worry would be this; as his hand is further rejected. Yes. My sentiments too. We have disinvited Christ from our culture--all its institutions and now it seems there are those who would disinvite Him from His own Church. Last Sunday's readings about the Vineyard....very sobering.
