There are so many people who think that this is the end of the world and that the Antichrist is coming. Soon. It's not true. This is the end of an era, the end of a period of time, not the end times.
just reiterating what has been posted.

I think Charlie is a good soul who can be dismissed out of hand unfortunately due to failed prophecy.

I don’t know what to think of Fr. Blount’s assertion but I hold by my own guideline I expressed above. His assertion would lead me to question other of his assertions.

There is an outside chance that the Era of Peace will begin soon and will only last a generation, in which case it is conceivable the AC has already been born.

That was strange. Just thinking out loud... I hope this had nothing to do with the six month "rest" for Fr.Blount. I would imagine a priest who deals with exorcism would always have to be on guard against demonic visions. It would be unlikely that his vision of the AC came from heaven.

The lesser tribulation mirrors the great tribulation.

Since the anti Christ makes his appearance during the great tribulation I suspect we might see a type of anti Christ appear in this lesser period that we have entered.

Lesser is not a useful phrase because it is going to feel like the end of the world.

Yes, there are prophecies that state that the “minor chastisement” will be so severe, even many of the faithful will think it’s the end of the world.

I think it is mentioned of this time in Scripture that God will intervene less,
    'Even the good be lost'.

That's how bad things will get. We will be tried up to our necks and more. There is no way tosugar coat it. But if we go back to our forebears and the simple Faith that brought them through immense trials and sufferings this shoulda huge comfort us.

Look at the Holy Family the path they walked . If we walk the same path and maintain our Faith it will lead to great holiness, even sanctity.

God caused us to be born in these days for a reason. It is a great. Great honour. All the saints and martyrs in heaven envy us for this. Let us give them cause to envy.

Per the website: Marie-Julie Jahenny: Prophecies For Our Times: REMEDIES for CHASTISEMENT PLAGUES and DISEASES

Ecstasy date August 5, 1880- THE WHITE HAWTHORN REMEDY and HOW TO PREPARE IT:

"There will be serious diseases that human art (skill) cannot alleviate. This malady will attack the heart first, then the mind, and at the same time, the tongue. It will be horrible. The heat that will accompany it will be a consuming fire, so strong that the affected parts of the body will be of an unbearable redness, (red blotches / patches).

After seven days, this malady, like the seed sown in a field, will rise rapidly and make immense progress (i.e. take over the body quickly, or, spread through the population
    quickly).

My children, this is the only remedy that can save you:

You know the leaves of thorns that grow in almost any hedges (white hawthorn). The leaves of this thorn will stop the progress of the disease. You must pick the leaves, not the wood. Even dry, they will retain their effectiveness.

Put them in boiling water and leave them there for 14 minutes, covering the container so that the steam remains. When the malady first attacks, you must use this remedy three times a day.

My children, this disease will be very serious in Brittany. The thought of God there will be less great ...(I.e. they will not think of God as much as before and therefore will be struck hardest with this malady.)

The malady will produce a continual uprising of the heart, (blood pressure? Increased heart rate?) vomiting. If the remedy is taken too late, the affected parts will become black, and in this black, there will be yellowish pale streaks."

The FLOWERS may also be used, and, the tea may be reheated and used again as long as it is kept covered, and reheated while covered."

    Hi, Booklady!
I am not sure about how this tea will affect people, so I am no longer endorsing it.
It is good to hear from you.

It sounds fairly harmless as far as holistic supplements go. I have no opinion regarding MJJ’s advice regarding hawthorn.

    https://www.webmd.com/vitamins-and-supplements/hawthorn-uses-and-risks

    Why do people take hawthorn?
People take hawthorn to try to treat conditions that include:

Heart problems. A common use for hawthorn has been to try to treat heart problems, especially heart failure.

During heart failure, the heart can't properly do its job of pumping blood around the body. Problems like coronary heart disease and high blood pressure can lead to heart failure.

In one study that combined the results of earlier studies on people with heart failure, hawthorn extract was linked to fewer symptoms of heart failure. People taking hawthorn had less fatigueand shortness of breath. But other studies have shown no benefit. There have also been reports of increased rates of death and hospitalization. More research is needed.

Cholesterol. Research on animals suggests that hawthorn extract lowers levels of total cholesterol and LDL "bad" cholesterol. It is not known how hawthorn might affect cholesterol levels in humans.

Blood pressure. Hawthorn may lower blood pressure. In one study, people with type 2 diabetes who took hawthorn extract for four months had a drop in diastolic blood pressure -- the bottom number in a blood pressure reading. But hawthorn can interact with many different types of blood pressure medications. More research is needed.

What are the risks of taking hawthorn?
Side effects. Unwanted effects from hawthorn seem to be rare. Dizziness is the most common side effect. Other side effects include:

    • Agitation
    • Digestive distress
Risks. Avoid using if you are allergic to hawthorn or plants in the hawthorn family. Also avoid using hawthorn if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as little is known about its safety in these cases.

Interactions. Hawthorn may increase the effect of certain drugs. For instance, it may increase the effect of drugs that:
    • Affect heart-muscle contraction, like digoxin
    • Lower blood pressure
    • Cause blood vessels to dilate, like nitrates
Hawthorn may also decrease the effect of drugs that cause blood vessels to contract. It may affect drugs and foods that lower cholesterol.

Thank you! I see it exactly like this. There have been Antichrists in the past, and so one more AC in these times seems very possible. Fr Gobbi saw the Antichrist too. I don’t see why it’s so unusual for Fr Blount to know who it is. Fr Rogue and Malachi Martin prophesied exactly what we are witnessing today in the Church. And they both spoke of an anti pope and an antichrist in the end times. Pray for Fr Blount. His comment may be very dangerous for him.

Hawthorn contains quercetin, that has been proposed as a Covid treatment. Quercetin acts via the same mechanism as Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. Was the burnt face illness Covid and use of masks was interpreted as burnt faces in prophetic visions? However, some of the readings State blackened skin. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-020-65802-7

I love the Hawthorn tree and have several in my parent's yard. I am biased for this tree though because my last name, hagedorn, is what this tree means:

Hawthorn is a common sight around the UK. With it comes a slew of folklore and superstitions! Its name comes from Anglo-Saxon word ‘hagedorn’, which means ‘hedge thorn’. This refers to its use as a boundary plant. Farmers used hawthorn in their hedges to protect their crops or cattle from witches (Woolf 2015). Some believed any farm stock kept in a field with hawthorn nearby would thrive (Baker 2011 [1969]: 69).

It’s often referred to as may blossom, though it doesn’t always blossom on May Day. It used to, until the calendar changed in 1752. This meant hawthorn was more likely to blossom in the middle of May, rather than on the 1st. Still, in Suffolk, if a servant could find any blossoming hawthorn on May Day, they’d win a dish of cream for bringing it home (Baker 2011 [1969]: 68).

There are several links between hawthorn and death. Christ’s crown was believed to be made from hawthorn. Meanwhile, its pungent aroma was likened to the smell of death. Medieval people felt it reminded them of plague corpses (Woolf 2015).
