I'm just referring to your claim that "I have quoted cannon law to show I'm right"- basically. That's what Luther did. He quoted scripture to show "he's right". It's never that simple. It's not our job to throw popes to the curb. Pray and trust God. He is in control of his Church. Not us. Let him do his job. Our job is simple. Be faithful catholics. Pray for the pope bishops and priests.

For the record, you twisted my words. But you know that already, don't you?

I suggest that you read this from St. Thomas Aquinas. You do not appear to understand the danger you are facing.

    53. He says, therefore, that the reason why they will be deceived is because they did not want to accept the truth of love, i.e., the truth of the Gospel. If I speak the truth, why do you not believe me? (John 8:46). They were rebels against the light (Job 24:13). And he says the love of the truth because unless faith be formed by love, it is nothing. If I have faith so as to move mountains and have not love, I am nothing (1 Cor 13:2). In Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision count for anything, but a new creature (Gal 6:15).

And he adds something about the usefulness of truth, saying, that they might be saved. Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through the Lord (Rom 5:1).

    54. But their sin and punishment is their deception; hence he says God shall send them, i.e., permit to come to them, the operation of error. God has mingled in their midst a spirit of confusion (Isa 19:14). I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets (1 Kgs 22:22). And this is why he says to believe lying, i.e., the false teaching of the Antichrist. For which reason God gave them over to a reprobate mind, that they might do things which are not fitting (Rom 1:28).

    55. But the punishment only is eternal damnation; hence he adds that all may be judged, namely with the judgment of condemnation. And those who have done wickedly shall go forth to the resurrection of judgment (John 5:29). Who have not believed the truth. He who does not believe is already judged (John 3:18)

My statement stands. Pray for the pope bishops and priests. Don't go into schism on basis of your scholarly research. There is never any danger in staying in and faithful.to the church.

My understanding is the inerrancy only applies to "ex cathedra" statements. Solemn proclamations made in the Name of God. Example: the Assumption of the Blessed Mother. An article of faith that the Church formally recognizes so Catholics are obliged to obey.

We are obliged at all times to acknowledge and live the truth of our Catholic faith. Fr Ripperger has been saying for a long time "know your faith" and recommends the catechism of the Council of Trent. Some are anointed to speak out. All are called to pray. I have no issue at all with lay people standing up to errant churchmen and saying "this is not the truth. This is not the gospel." Lay people saved the Church during the arian crisis. Many saints have believed it will happen again. May God grant us the courage and fortitude to stand with Christ as Bishop Strickland has so eloquently stated.

Agree 100%. That’s exactly what Catherine of Emmerich did. But we can’t fall for the Freemason trap to jump into schism. That’s the danger today. We won’t change this by speech alone. It must come from prayer and sacrifice. And I know you know this. It’s frustrating for all of us who are watching the fall of our Church. But we can’t lose hope and not be afraid. This is where the Divine Will can be so helpful. Keep our eyes on Him.

The real danger, as St. Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2, is not the "schism" (which is the infallible sign of the end times) but, rather, to remain in a "counterfeit" of the Catholic Church and thereby "consent to iniquity." The "schism" has already happened (and will continue to get worse). The true "schismatics" have separated themselves from Jesus by ignoring his unchangeable, infallible teachings. The German Synodal Way is the clear example.

When a person claims to be Catholic but says that it is not a problem for the divorced and remarried (without annulment) to receive the Eucharist, that person has separated himself from the True Vine by contradicting the commandment of Jesus and promoting sacrilege. We must separate ourselves from those who promote such things. Otherwise, we "cooperate with evil," we "consent to iniquity."

10 And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: 11 That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity. 12 But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit, and faith of the truth: 13 Whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 14 Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.
The sure antidote to the Antichrist is to follow the Truth taught by the traditional Catholic Faith. This means, primarily, defending that true Faith against any and all aggressors.

Jesus is your God. Stand up for him. You will be tested.

    Good post.
The question though is how do we stand up for Jesus?

Do we take the approach of Father Altman? Of Bishop Strickland? Or of Enoch Burke here in Ireland?

I'm asking, not with an alterior motive, but because I genuinely don't know....

The whole country seems to have been turned against Enoch, without any real understanding or even wanting to understand his stance
