Of course he only gives heretical interviews to the guy who doesn't take notes.[/QUOTE] Hopefully soon we will get a Pope that we can trust to teach us the Faith that Christ died for.
How about this?? "One week ago today was the Feast of Corpus Christi, Dies Sanctissimi Corporis et Sanguinis Domini Iesu Christi, The Day of the Most Holy Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. In many places the Feast is either celebrated twice, on Thursday and again on Sunday as an external solemnity, or is celebrated on Thursday and then as an Octave – eight days of celebration, as with Easter, Pentecost, and Christmas. Again, this is the great feast of the Eucharist, the Real Presence, the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar, the Source and Summit of the Christian life Up until Antipope Bergoglio’s usurpation, there was a HUGE procession of the Blessed Sacrament from St. John Lateran up the Via Merulana to St. Mary Major on the Feast Day – Thursday evening. It was broadcast on Italian television live – a really huge deal. Then it was moved to the “external solemnity”, Sunday evening, allegedly to “not impede traffic” and Antipope Bergoglio refused to participate in the procession but showed up at St. Mary Major at the conclusion. Then Antipope Bergoglio refused to even show up at all. Then the procession was moved to the suburbs around the airport. This year? There was a procession up the Via Merulana, organized by the Basilica of St. Mary Major independent of the Diocese of Rome, sans Antipope Bergoglio, natch, who is apparently having difficulty keeping his bowels inside his body (shades of Arius, there…) but there was a total Vatican and media blackout. Hardly anyone knew it was happening, much less attended. Oh, but there was an event at the Vatican on Saturday. They set out chairs in St. Peter’s Square expecting tens of thousands of people. About 200 showed up. Do you know what the event was? It was a “celebration of Human Fraternity” – as in FREEMASONRY. It was a celebration, on the steps of St. Peter’s Basilica, of religious plurality and of humanity in se. It was also, naturally a celebration of SODOMY, you know, because PRIDE MONTH. There was an open sodomite “dancer” who has publicly aped the sacrament of Holy Matrimony with some guy that he engages in posterior fundament abuse with, and then a thing that looked like a woman, but who in the hell can tell these days, caterwauled out the homosexual anthem, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” – because uber-fag-hag Judy Garland, and RAINBOW. Get it? Not one mention of Jesus Christ or His Holy Church. Not one." excerpts taken from this blog post: https://www.barnhardt.biz/2023/06/1...es-the-enormity-of-what-just-happened-in-rome
Cardinal Zuppi to go to Moscow this week as Pope Francis’ peace envoy Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, archbishop of Bologna, during a consistory Oct. 5, 2019./ Daniel Ibanez/CNA. By Courtney Mares Vatican City, Jun 27, 2023 / 06:00 am The Vatican announced Tuesday that Cardinal Matteo Zuppi will visit Moscow this week as part of the peace mission entrusted to him by Pope Francis. Zuppi will arrive in Russia’s capital on July 28, less than one week after a paramilitary organization known as the Wagner Group rebelled against the Russian government in a short-lived revolt. The cardinal’s mission during the two-day visit is to help “find ways to achieve a just peace,” according to the Vatican statement issued one day before the trip. “The main purpose of the initiative is to encourage gestures of humanity, which can contribute to foster a solution to the current tragic situation and find ways to achieve a just peace,” it said. Pope Francis has asked the Italian cardinal to serve as a papal envoy to “initiate paths of peace” between Russia and Ukraine. The Moscow trip follows Zuppi’s visit to Kyiv earlier this month where he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other political leaders. Zelenskyy, writing on the messaging internet service Telegram, said he and Zuppi discussed the situation in Ukraine and humanitarian cooperation. “Only joint efforts, diplomatic isolation, and pressure on Russia can bring a just peace on Ukrainian soil,” the Ukrainian president said. “I ask the Holy See to help implement the Ukrainian peace plan. Ukraine welcomes the willingness of other states and partners to find ways to peace, but since the war is on our territory the solution for achieving peace can only be Ukrainian.” An official from the Vatican Secretariat of State will travel with Zuppi to Moscow, which is still dealing with the fallout of the unprecedented Wagner rebellion which could potentially influence the next phase of Russia’s war in Ukraine. Sant’Egidio is a Catholic lay association that has been involved in peace negotiations in many countries, including Mozambique, South Sudan, Congo, Burundi, and the Central African Republic. Zuppi is not the only cardinal that Pope Francis has sent into a war zone in recent weeks. The pope asked Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, the papal almoner, to bring humanitarian aid to Ukraine’s southern Kherson region earlier this month, in the Polish cardinal’s sixth trip to Ukraine since Russia’s full-scale invasion. Zuppi, the archbishop of Bologna and president of the Italian bishops’ conference, has strong ties to the influential peace-building community Sant’Egidio. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ca...-moscow-this-week-as-pope-francis-peace-envoy
Poor Bishop Strickland . I am thinking and praying for him. So sad and trying to contain feelings of anger about all this. In his last tweet before they came for him he spoke of the need to be able and ready to suffer for the Truth, for Christ. Wonderful Bishop. It's good always to look for the positive even in the worst things in life. So anything positive in all this? Anything at all? Well; Bishop Strickland will soon be freed from his Diocese and will be able to travel round the USA and the entire World. That may be good, that the World has become his Diocese. His Ecclesial execution makes him a martyr ; this gives him huge power as a figurehead for the Truth. His obedience and Faith will earn huge graces for us all. But make no mistake about it, when they come to get him, they come for us all. The situation is very, very grave.
Bishop Strickland reminds me of Padre Pio in this. They tried the exact same tricks on him. Bishop Strickland has responded like the saint. Very admirable. The actions of a saint. Of sanctity.
I am going to put up a thread on Bishop Strickland. 'America's Bishop'. I watched a great talk from 'Crisis Magazine', last night on him It is very balanced, thoughtful and well worth a watching.
Pope Francis names new Jerusalem prelate among 21 new cardinals By APToday, 2:35 pm Pope Francis delivers the Angelus noon prayer in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican, July 9, 2023. (AP Photo/Gregorio Borgia) VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis announces he has chosen 21 new cardinals, including prelates from Jerusalem and Hong Kong — places where Catholics are a small minority. The pope announces his picks during his customary weekly appearance to the public in St. Peter’s Square, saying the ceremony to formally install the churchmen as cardinals will be held on September 30. Among those tapped are several prelates holding or about to assume major Vatican posts, like Argentine Archbishop Victor Manuel Fernandez, whom the pope names to lead the office for ensuring doctrinal orthodoxy. The new cardinals also include Hong Kong Bishop Stephen Sau-yan Chow and the Vatican’s top official in the Middle East, Monsignor Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveb...new-jerusalem-prelate-among-21-new-cardinals/
I was reading a report in Portuguese that said that after the September consistory there will be 137 cardinal electors, about 73% of them chosen by Francis; which increases the chances of the next conclave electing someone who follows the same doctrinal line as Francis.
God will allow the Woman to crush him! Such humiliation! He who seduced the first woman will suffer defeat at the hands (or foot?) of Mary! Aren't God's ways so marvelous! The victor is humility!
From Julian of Norwich, The Holy Church will be shaken with anguish and sorrow and tribulation in this world but Our Lord revealed 'I shall turn this into a great thing of endless honour and everlasting joy.' He lays on everyone something humiliating, which He does not consider a flaw, but which makes the world despise them. He does this to protect them from pride. I (Julian), heard him say' I will empty you of your vain inclinations and bitter pride. After that I will gather you up and infuse you with gentleness and humility. I will make you pure and holy. I will one you to myself. '. We can see we have as Catholics been humiliated. My country that prided itself on its faith and heritage has been humiliated. Our church is crushed. In all this God's victory is being born. Our liberation is close at hand.
I see more more priests, Bishops, Archbishop's and Cardinals are firmly speaking out as the evil in Rome grows more open. This is a great source of hope.
Regardless of one’s opinion regarding this, it’s going to explode now. It’s being said out loud, not just by Barnhardt, Mazza, and Coffin. (I don’t know anything about this website but I suspect it’s Sedevacantist so I’d avoid it otherwise.) https://ecclesiamilitans.com/2023/07/08/fr-james-altman-acknowledges-jorge-bergoglio-as-an-antipope/ Fr. James Altman Acknowledges Jorge Bergoglio as an Antipope July 8, 2023 by Tony La Rosa More and more clergy outside of the so-called Resistance are coming to the realization that Jorge Bergoglio is not the pope of the Catholic Church…
With all respect to Father Altman, my fixed impression of the poor man is that he is not well. that he lacks balance and inner peace. That he has a disquieting stridency.
I came across a great quote from St Francis De Sales regarding mercy 'We must fear God out of love, not love Him out of fear'. But considering hell. we must as the Doctor of the Church indicates fear first. He'll is a reality. People wind up there. It exists. People burn there for all Eternity.
No one can ever read the Bible without a respectful loving fear of God. He is very, very merciful, but He is very, very just. Presumption as regards Mercy is a terrible , terrible error. We do not get out of hell to take a second bite of the cherry. Once in, no out.,and for all Eternity.
