one thing I have been wondering is whether even children in the catechization phase are in danger of diabolical disorientation, because Francis habitually contradicts what is taught to them in catechism classes; it makes me wonder if there will still be children on earth during the reign of the antichrist or if God would spare them somehow.
I heard the other day how the Chinese Communist Party are rewriting Scripture. For instance in the story of the woman whom they are trying to stone the poor woman to death for adultery ,after Jesus chases away the men who are trying to kill her, they have Jesus stoning the woman to death himself. I can see why the Communists did this, it reflects their own culture of Death. Similiarly the Vatican is currently rewriting the Church herself so that we have a new False Church in their own evil image. Pope Frankie is not alone letting them to do this. He is actually leading the Charge. We have to face facts, he is behind all this. He is their Fueher.

I think that those who had their faith nurtured by the teachings of John Paul II and Benedict xvi in childhood have a common sense of what the true tradition of the Church represents (although many reject it or consider it something to be updated) but who is receiving the initial catechization now are already receiving a distorted notion of the Catholic faith, especially if are from the German church and this is very serious.
I just watched the Patrick Coffin interview and it has totally nailed it for me. I was struck by how shocked John Henry was towards the end when all the cards are on the table and the appalling vista is before him. He struggles even though he has been calling it out since the beginning. His question on why Pope Benedict appears to speak glowingly of Francis on more than one occasion has also troubled me and no doubt many others. Patrick deals with that and now we have to face this. I think my response now is to pray like never before for all catholics and for our priests. This forum is a blessing in this time.
It is the worst Judgement on us for our sins possible. But may God's Holy Will be done forever and ever. But it is a huge comfort that everything will turn out for the best in the end...at least for those who love God. For those who do not love God it will not turn out well at all...unless they convert. It is an hypothesis that Pope Benedict resigned deliberately in an invalid manner and that Pope Francis is an anti-Pope. But is an hypothesis that is building up a certain momemtum at the moment. It will be up to the Cardinals of the Church at a future time to examine these matters and rule on them. If the Synod on Synods votes for female priests, over-turns Humanae Vitae and codifies same sex blessings in Church then we can safely say we are dealing with an anti-Pope and then perhaps the synod will be the catalyst for serious deliberations and investigations on the validity of this Pontificate.
You are right Bobby. For now we must proceed as though Pope Francis is indeed Pope. It is way above our pay grade to do anything else. It is excruciating--spiritual suffering of high magnitude. But that's the cross we are carrying at the moment. I am stepping up my prayers for BXVI however. Off topic but how is your little grandson doing?
