After spending the last three years renovating my house I had a lot of work to do as I worked and got tired I constantly asked St Joseph for help, well after a few strange things happened like looking for a piece of wood to make a door frame and finding that the piece of wood that I had left over exactly fitted and I mean mm perfect ,I started to realise that I did in deed have a helping hand, far too many different examples to list but it has happened too many times now to be a coincidence.. so I thought I would share the story below..

During my recent pilgrimage to Garabandal, I took the opportunity to get confession in the local church. i mentioned that I'm out of work & it gets to me at times. The priest, a wonderful man from Ballyferriter, Kerry suggested i pray to St Joseph. St Joseph, he said, was a working man & he'd understand the trauma of being out of work & being idle. This is the prayer I now say every morning:

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God. I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your devine Son all spiritual blessings, throughJesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers.
Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary of contemplating you, and Jesusasleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me and ask him to return the Kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls - Pray for me.
This prayer was found in the fiftienth year of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505 it was sent from the Pope to Emperor Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death, or be drowned, not shall posion take effect of them; neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy; or shall be burned in any fire, or shall be overpowered in battle.
Say for nine mornings for anything you may desire. It has never been known to fail, so be sure you really want what you ask.

Miraculous story ! This is the most fascinating sentence " He used no nails or screws – only wooden pegs as fasteners. At every step, the wood is perfectly curved. "

I love this story. The staircase itself is beautiful! If you ever get the chance to see it in person it's incredible. I love St. Joseph!

    God Bless!

But there are those who say no, no it wasn't St. Joseph who made this miraculous staircase. You see from the novena that the nuns made to St. Joseph, St. Joseph went to Jesus and said, Your wives are praying to me for a staircase to their choir so they can pray to you. Go down and take care of your wives. Ever obedient Jesus, who cannot refuse Joseph anything went down and built them a staircase. You see the staircase has 33 steps. View attachment 1070

From what I remember of the story, I think the Mother Superior was the only one who knew the identity of the workman. The wood used only came from the middle east.
